By completing the Empire Hunt on higher difficulty(Legend/Master) the player can obtain some of the highest pinnacle rewards. In addition to that, there is a small chance of receiving the "Cloudstrike" Exotic Sniper Rifle which has a chance to be rewarded for completing the Empire Hunt on any difficulty. To gain access to the Empire Hunt, the player needs to have both Europan Explorer I” and “Europan Explorer II” Variks Sabotage upgrades completed.
