The Xenophage is an exotic machine gun that can be equipped in the power slot and is only obtainable by completing a special quest on the Moon.  The main exotic perk of the Xenophage is "Pyrotoxin Rounds", which allows it to deal good single-target damage as well as eliminate small groups of enemies via splash damage. The Xenophage is a very good choice for all Destiny 2 activities, especially Gambit matches and Hard PvE content.
