The Xenophage is an exotic machine gun that can be equipped in the power slot and can only be obtained by completing a special quest on the Moon.  The main exotic perk of the Xenophage is "Pyrotoxin Rounds" which allows it to deal good single target damage as well eliminate small groups of enemies via splash damage. The Xenophage is a very good choice for all Destiny 2 activities especially gambit matches and Hard PvE content.
