Nightfall the ordeal has auto searching both enabled and disabled depending on the difficulty Higher difficulties like Master and Grandmaster have auto searching disabled and you need to complete them with your own fireteam.
Only these two difficulties of Nightfall can award players with Ascendant Shards which is the material that guardians can use to masterwork their armor (Masterworking a single legendary armor piece will require you to spend one ascendant shard. However, masterworking a single exotic armor piece will cost you three ascendant shards.). Additionally, players can obtain unique adept weapons and special mods for them from the Grandmaster Nightfall ordeal. Nightfall: The Ordeal Boost

Different Levels of Nightfall the Ordeal
The game is divided into 4 main levels, which are:
- Adept: Players with a minimum of 1480 power level fall in this category. This is the lowest difficulty level in Nightfall Ordeal. However, winning this is not an easy affair. But once you win, you will be showered with a lot of winnings. Some rewards of this level include enchantment cores.
- Hero: This includes gamers with 1520 power level minimum. When compared to other premier levels, completing Hero levels can be really tricky. Although, the received winnings compensate remarkably. One receives tons of enchantment cores and exotic gear common. Enchantment Prisms common is pretty rare to collect from this level.
- Legend: As the name suggests, one needs to work hard and win lots to reach this level. However, it only needs the player to have 1550 power levels. You can harvest huge loads of enchantment prisms, exotic gears, and a lot more rewards from this level.
- Master: You will have to be a ‘master’ of Nightfall the Ordeal to reach this level. With a minimum 1580 power level requirement, gamers should gear up for facing some fascinating action. You will win a load of common ascendant shards and uncommon shards from this level.
Weekly Challenges
There are 2 main weekly challenges launched by the makers yet. These are:
- The Crucible: It features new challenges every week for the player. It can be played with other friend gamers in Survival, Elimination, Control, or Rumble. Weekly rotation will also bring Showdown, Clash, and Mayhem in the picture.
- Nightmare Hunts: Released on a weekly basis, gamers have to run 3 nightmare hunts every week. All these are based on a particular essence, which helps in crafting armor and weapons.
The biggest challenge for any Nightfall player is that they will have to earn 100,000 points before the end. Only this will get you a massive and powerful loot directly from the Boss. Missing runs will start reducing the points, and you will have to start from the beginning!
