The developers announced that between Chapter 6 Season 4 and Chapter 7 Season 1, there’ll be a Fortnite x The Simpsons mini-season. It’s the second time they’ve done that, the previous case being Fortnite OG. This season will last only one month. During it, the standard island will be replaced with Springfield, the Simpsons' hometown. Not only that, but the loot will be revamped to fit the season as well. Another feature introduced is Sidekicks, which we will discuss in detail later in the article. All of this in just one season!

Fortnite x The Simpsons All You Need to Know
As fans of the Simpsons franchise, we are hyped for this season as much as anyone. This season brings tons of new things to the table. We will cover them, including a new map, new loot, Battle Pass, and a new feature introduced in this season: Sidekicks. Let’s start without further ado.
Fortnite x The Simpsons Season Release Date
The release date for the Fortnite x The Simpsons is November 1, 2025. It’s bound to be released at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET. Focus on completing all quests and the Battle Pass. You won’t be able to return to it in the upcoming season.
Before the season’s release, there’s going to be an in-game The Simpsons live event. It will start 6 hours prior to the season itself, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. This is a one-time event, so don't miss it. As is always the case with such events, expect big queues. We recommend logging in to the game 30 to 60 minutes before it starts to witness it yourself. Another reason to log in is that there might be unique Fortnite x The Simpsons free rewards. Nothing like that has been confirmed yet, though.
Fortnite x The Simpsons New Map
If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll be ecstatic. Visiting one of the most well-known places in the TV media can now become a reality. With the start of the season, the familiar island will turn into Springfield. A famous hometown, where the show takes place. The map’s visuals are cel-shaded to better fit the vibe of the cartoon. Expect to see some familiar locations on the Simpsons Springfield map, such as:
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant: Workplace for Homer Simpson and the root of many problems in the town.
- Evergreen Terrace: A neighborhood where the famous TV family lives.
- Moe’s Tavern: A dive bar where Homer and his friends frequent in the TV show.
- Town Hall: A place where people of Springfield gather to discuss major events happening in their city.
- King Toot’s Music Store: A shop that is home to many instruments. Lisa bought her saxophones here.
- Krusty Burger: Fast food chain, owned by a sleazy Krusty the Clown.
- Mr. Burns Manor: A residence for the most evil character in the Simpsons series.
- Cletus’s Farm: A home to a low-brow stereotype countryman, Cletus Spuckler.
So far, these are the locations we can see on the map or that have been announced. There might even be more locations yet to be discovered. Apart from that, many familiar mechanics and visuals will be replaced with unique Simpsons-themed features. Here are a few examples:
- Duff Blimp will replace the Battle Bus balloon.
- Donut Rain is replacing a damaging weather mechanic.
- Gas stations are replaced with Quick-E-Marts.
- Purple Clouds are forming a new “cartoon storm”, unique to this season.
The map is said to evolve weekly, adding more locations and potentially new items. BLOG20
Fortnite x The Simpsons Loot
The loot pool for the Fortnite x The Simpsons season brings some new stuff to the game. Most weapons remain unchanged, apart from a couple of exceptions. Major changes and new loot mainly concern the healing item pool. Here’s a list of new loot that has unique effects, which you’ll see in the game:
- Mr.Blasty: A balloon-shooting revolver. Apparently, it attaches them to whoever you hit with it.
- Jebediah’s Protective Helm: From what we were able to find, it’ll protect you from a single headshot.
- Super Squishee: This item is a consumable, which gives you super speed and an endless sprint time.
- Binky: A radioactive fish, which gives you teleportation powers upon consumption. Ew.
Other leaked items are either reskins or don’t have confirmed effects. There’s got to be even more loot that is going to change the way you play the game. This right here is just a short list of items that were announced.
The Simpsons Battle Pass
This season brings a new Simpsons-themed Battle Pass. Even though this Battle Pass will last for a month, it’s still going to cost 1000 V-Bucks. If you’re wondering if it’s worth buying it, know that you can safely buy Fortnite V-Bucks from us for less than in the official store. But let’s return to the contents of the Battle Pass. It will include five skins. Three of them are Simpsons skins, and two are Simpsons-inspired Fortnite characters. The Fortnite x The Simpsons skins are:
- Homer Simpson: In his classic blue pants and white polo.
- Marge Simpson: Rocking her iconic light-green dress and crazy hairdo. Hopefully her hair isn’t pay-to-lose.
- Ned Flanders: Looking fly as always.
- Peely: A classic banana skin stylized as a The Simpsons character
- Fishstick: He wears a sleeveless hazmat suit and is clearly inspired by Binky’s design from the show.
We know that each skin will have alternate versions. We can only speculate what they will be. Hopefully, they’ll add Evil Homer and Witch Marge as a nod to the Treehouse of Horror episodes. Apart from that, Bart and Lisa’s skins in mech suits will be available in the item shop.
Fortnite Sidekicks
Finally, after a long wait, the Sidekicks are coming to Fortnite! They’re companions you can take to any mode in the game. The coolest thing about them is that you can name them and dress them up as you like. You can purchase accessories for them with Sidekick points. You gain these points just by having companions by your side.
The first sidekick available is Peels, which will be added to this season’s Battle Pass. It’s a cute banana dog. Other pets will be available in the item store on November 7, 2025. So far, no Fortnite x The Simpsons Sidekicks have been announced. We hope they add them, since there are tons of characters from the show who could suit this role. For example, Santa’s Little Helper, Itchy, or maybe even Maggie Simpson.

This season of Fortnite brings so many new additions to the game, it’s just crazy. Not every large season in the game had so many cool additions.
