ARC Raiders Buried City Puzzle Guide

There are 15 puzzle button locations in ARC Raiders. The puzzle requires you to press them in the correct sequence. It’s difficult to do it without searching for the information online. The door leading inside the room with the guitar is near the Red Tower. If you find it, you’ll notice that there are 15 light bulbs near it. Upon further inspection, you’ll find a musical sheet in one of the rooms that’s drawn on the wall. It’s a hint, telling you in which order you have to press the buttons. If you press one button out of order, the entire sequence must be repeated from the beginning. Each button has one of the notes drawn somewhere around its location.

If you really want to search for it yourself, you’ll spend a lot of time because all the buttons are scattered across the map. It’s also practically impossible to do that solo, as even in trios it can take up to 20 minutes to reach all the buttons. Add up the fact that other raiders may press buttons out of order, and you get an extremely challenging obstacle course. We’ll explain the button locations from the map’s perspective. If we refer to the “lower-left building”, we imply that location from the map view. Check out the ARC Raiders Buried City puzzle guide:

Button Location Description
1 Plaza Rosa Second floor of the lower-left building, in the kitchen, hidden between two chairs.
2 Galleria

Southern part of the roof, down the elevator shaft, turn left and go along the wall. The button is behind a rusted rack.

3 Warehouse Roof of the warehouse, next to the skylights, in between the ventilation blocks.
4 Marano Park Newsstand next to the park’s center. The button is inside it.
5 Grandioso Apartments Top floor. Rappel up the elevator shaft, turn left, go out to the balcony, and then go into the neighboring apartment. Reach the furthest room, and the button is behind the couch.
6 Piazza Arbusto Blue tower above the pharmacy. Walk along the ledge, surrounding the tower itself. You’ll find the button on the side facing the subway entrance.
7 Bus The bus is located to the north west of the Library, on the way to Su Durante Warehouses. You’ll find the button inside.
8 Corso da Vinci North of the Corso da Vinci location on the map, you’ll find an unmarked building. You can identify it by a broken-down wall. Head inside and turn left, past the stairs. Enter the far-left room, and you’ll find the 8th button there.
9 Buried Properties Ruins of the building, south of the Field Depot. Next to a broken power unit or whatever that is.
10 Hospital Head to where the subway entrance is, turn left of it, and go to the stairs. Under them, hidden between the “wet floor” signs, is the button.
11 Bridge Head to the bridge above Corso da Vinci, specifically to the left of the name on the map. Reach the section where the bridge is significantly destroyed and turn left. You’ll see a building with a hole in the wall. Don’t go in there. Instead, turn back and look at the debris of the bridge. It should be right next to the rope leading down. That was hard to describe.
12 Church Ruins Lower-left side of the location, chimney on the roof, buried under the sand.
13 Santa Maria Houses In the attic of the central complex. It’s right below the T letter in “Santa”.
14 Piazza Roma To the left of the location, there’s an empty patch of land with a tower looking out of it. The button is inside the tower.
15 Red Tower Mutiny block, the angular building north of the Red Tower. You can reach the required door by approaching from the north. The entrance is the half-buried window on the first floor.

Now you know all the ARC Raiders Buried City hidden buttons order. After you press the button, you’ll hear a fun jingle, which is a reference to another game made by the studio, The Finals. There’ll be fireworks in your honor for completing such a difficult puzzle. Also, you’ll probably be almost out of time, so let’s hope the Plaza Rosa extraction is still working. This puzzle is an  Inside the room, you’ll find many guitars, candleholders, and shakers. Guitars do not stack, so take them with you and run to the extraction. ARC Raiders Buried City Secret Puzzle Tips

Well, you know the ARC Raiders music puzzle steps, but it’s still really hard! It’s impossible not to meet boss ARCs along the way, as you’ll be crossing the whole map multiple times. The same goes for players - those in duos or trios are hostile 90% of the time. How can we simplify the process and reduce risk? We’ve prepared a couple of ideas. Here are the ARC Raiders Buried City secret puzzle tips:

  • Take Adrenaline Shots: As you’ll be crossing the map multiple times over the course of this puzzle, you need to run a lot. If you hope that you’ll manage without them, you’re wrong. Take about 25-30 of them. It’s cheap to craft them, so even if you die, it’s not a big loss.
  • Take Ziplines or Snap Hooks: The easier it is to cross the map, the better. Buried City is an extremely vertical map with numerous narrow, twisting paths. If you can pave the way along the rooftops and reach high places faster, you’ll save a lot of time.
  • Bring Wolfpacks: You’ll probably face a Rocketeer one way or another, so take two Wolfpacks just in case.
  • Don’t Loot: If you loot some place, you will not have enough time to finish the puzzle, especially if you are going solo.
  • Bring Your Friends: This puzzle is significantly easier if you do it in a party. It might be more dangerous, since most squads move together, but you can do the task faster.
  • Don’t Fight: Avoid other raiders at all costs, as you risk losing the fight and starting all over again.
  • Plan the Route: If you are doing the puzzle in a group, be sure to plan who will press the first button, second, etc.
  • It’ll Take Some Time: Be ready that you won’t succeed the first time. While it’s possible, don’t feel discouraged if you fail.

These are all the tips we can give you. They will help you solve this Buried City easter egg puzzle. The most important tip here is to bring Adrenaline Shots and, if it’s possible, also prepare an augment with more safe pockets. It’s not a mandatory thing, but this way, if you finish the puzzle, you’ll at least save a couple of guitars.

Conclusion

This puzzle is difficult, so think carefully about whether the reward is worth it. The guitar is worth just 7000 coins, so if you were hoping for a monetary gain, don’t. The guitar is a cool feature, as it lets you play one of seven melodies. It occupies both hands, so you won’t be able to interact with anything when using it. Be sure to return for more guides soon. We’ll publish a dynamic event guide that includes an explanation of the Closed Gate event. Until then, raiders! Stay safe Topside.
