ARC Raiders High Gain Antenna Materials List

The infographic provided above was made by u/gifv_Kayla, whose work has been of huge help to me when making these articles. The original Reddit post is available at this link. Go tell them thank you. Now, what can we tell from this image? If you’ve been hoarding resources in hopes of closing the player project fast, I gotta say you probably didn’t hoard the right ones. At least I didn’t. This project has only three stages to complete, but the rewards are pretty neat, especially if you sent your Raider on an Expedition. I’ll talk more about rewards in a separate section. If you want a short answer on how to complete the High Gain Antenna project fast, go and farm the newly released map condition, Close Scrutiny. All the needed materials drop from the ARCs that you need to deal with during the event. The second and third stages require you to get the Vaporizer Regulator and Assessor Matrix, which are only accessible during this map condition. Now, take a look at the full High Gain Antenna Player Project materials list.
Sturdy Base

While the first stage is usually quite easy to complete, I wouldn’t say that about this one. This feels more like a third stage of a project. The materials you need to find can be farmed through minor ARCs, but the amount of these materials will drive you nuts if you intend to do so. Below are all High Gain Antenna materials for Sturdy Base:
- ARC Alloy x50
- ARC Flex Rubber x10
- ARC Performance Steel x10
- Advanced ARC Powercell x15
As you might’ve guessed, all these ARC materials can be found during the Close Scrutiny map condition. Vaporizers, the new ARCs, also drop them, so be sure to loot them if you manage to get one down. Though it’s probably the intended way of doing the project fast, I will provide alternative ways of finding the materials.
|
Materials |
Where to Get |
|
ARC Alloy x50 |
You can get ARC Alloy virtually from every part of an ARC if you decide to recycle it. If you hope to just loot them, it’ll take a long time, as each ARC usually drops 1-2 of those. Recycle materials you don’t need from ARCs to get the Alloy to finish this section fast. |
|
ARC Flex Rubber x10 |
This material usually drops from Boss ARCs, but also from Sentinels and Ticks, occasionally. Sentinels are few and far between, so farming them isn’t an option. Ticks, on the other hand, are plentiful in the Buried City. If you have no weaponry to deal with boss ARCs, I suggest going the free kit route and just destroying as many Ticks as you can. Alternatively, you can get Flex Rubber from Baron Husks, but the quantity is low, usually just 1 piece of it drops. |
|
ARC Performance Steel x10 |
Aside from boss ARCs, two ARCs that also drop it are Hornet and Surveyor. To be honest, I barely found any on Hornets when looting them, but Surveyors actually drop 2-3 pieces of the needed Material, so 3-5 Buried City/Blue Gate runs, and you've got it. You can always try taking down Bastions, Bombardiers, or Leapers, as well as Vaporizers. |
|
Advanced ARC Powercell x15 |
My heart bleeds when I think of giving up the best source of Shield Charges. But oh well. ARC Powercells are very easy to find. There are many options for how you can get them, but I recommend just waiting for EM Storm/Husk Graveyard and looking for Rocketeer Husks, which are quite plentiful during these map conditions. One or two raids and you’re set. |
If you’re among the lucky few who stocked up on Flex Rubber and Performance Steel, first of all, why? Second of all, please share some. Jk. While the rewards for doing the Sturdy Base are really nice, don’t lose too much of your own loot in attempts to get them.

Stage Two
This stage introduces new Epic-tier materials that can only be found during the Close Scrutiny, so if you intend to complete this Project, prepare your PvP loadout. The first two materials, ARC Coolant and ARC Thermo Lining, can be quickly ground by killing minor ARCs, though as with every other material in this player project, you can get them from the map condition itself.
- ARC Coolant x15
- ARC Thermo Lining x15
- Vaporizer Regulator x4
- Assessor Matrix x6
A Vaporizer usually drops 2 Vaporizer Regulators. It has multiple lootable parts, so make sure to loot every single one that's fallen off during the fight. If you're lucky enough, you need to take down just two Vaporizers. Assessor Matrix is harder, cause you can get just one of them from an Assessor. Anyway, let me tell you how to complete stage two of High Gain Antenna player project fast:
| Materials | Where to Get |
| ARC Coolant x15 & ARC Thermo Lining x15 | Both ARC Coolant and ARC Thermo Lining can be looted from the Assessor, but there's not enough to meet the goal quickly. What I recommend is going to the Buried City and going into the buildings. ARC Coolant and ARC Thermo Lining drop very reliably from Fireballs and Pops, and they're extremely easy to kill. Two to three lucky runs and you get the needed amount. |
| Vaporizer Regulator x4 | Vaporizer is one of the hardest major ARCs, if not the hardest. It's been fine-tuned to deal with typical Raider tactics. I explained how to deal with a Vaporizer in this article. Just like I said before, it drops ~2 of the needed material upon its death. There are plenty of Vaporizers in the area during Close Scrutiny, so getting 4 Regulators in one run is possible. It's just that fighting the Vaporizer is really hard. |
| Assessor Matrix x6 | While getting this Matrix requires just looting the Assessor, the problem lies in that it's guarded by at least 1 Vaporizer. If you think that one Raider can distract the Vaporizer while the others loot the Assessor, think again. Vaporizer has multi-target attacks that deal significant damage. One Assessor can get you 2-3 Assessor Matrices. |
While this stage requires dipping your toes into a new map condition, I'd say it won't take too long to complete it, unless you're unlucky and die on each try. Wait til you see the next stage.
Stage Three
I get anxiety just by looking at the bottom list of materials. The upper part of it is not any better, to be honest. You get 1 Surveyor Vault by killing one of them and ARC Synthetic Resin can be looted from Wasps, but there's a way to get them faster, albeit it's more dangerous.
- Surveyor Vault x10
- ARC Synthetic Resin x20
- Vaporizer Regulator x15
- Assessor Matrix x18
I already described how you can get the lower half of the list during the previous stage, so I won't add anything new in the section talking about looting these parts.
| Materials | Where to Get |
|
Surveyor Vault x10 |
While you can track and kill Surveyors, you can also loot ARC Couriers, or loot the Assessor, cause it also drops Surveyor Vaults. |
|
ARC Synthetic Resin x20 |
I briefly mentioned that you can get these materials from Wasps, but there's a faster way. Shredders. They now spawn on more maps, and on the open maps, they are far less dangerous than they were on Stella Montis. |
|
Vaporizer Regulator x15 |
Vaporizer is one of the hardest major ARCs, if not the hardest. |
|
Assessor Matrix x18 |
While getting this Matrix requires just looting the Assessor, the problem lies in that it's guarded by at least 1 Vaporizer. If you think that one Raider can distract the Vaporizer while the others loot the Assessor, think again. Vaporizer has multi-target attacks that deal significant damage. One Assessor can get you 2-3 Assessor Matrices. |
And that's how you get all materials for High Gain Antenna player project. In my own experience, the main difficulty of finishing this project comes from not knowing how to deal with Vaporizers efficiently. The Raiders? I mean, you can negotiate with them and persuade them not to attack you. The best choice would be to run a couple of raids using free kits, but be mindful that with the new changes, you're less likely to get into fresh lobbies if you don't go in with your own loadout.
High Gain Antenna Project Rewards

I gotta say, I love the rewards. Not only are they some of the best weapons this season, but you also get some Epic-tier consumables and weapon attachments. You also get 500 Raider coins, which is quite generous, considering the devs were giving around 200 coins for each project completion. Let’s go over the High Gain Antenna project rewards:
|
Reward |
Description |
|
Torrente II |
A high-firing rate LMG. One of the best weapons for Stella Montis, btw. |
|
Extended Medium Mag 3 |
Adds 12 bullets to the mag size and makes weapons like Torrente and Arpeggio super strong. |
|
Extended Barrel |
It increases Bullet Velocity by 25%, which really helps on weapons like Anvil and Renegade. I’ve heard it works amazingly on Osprey, but I don’t see many people using Osprey, period. It also increases the Vertical Recoil by 15%, but that’s not a dealbreaker. |
|
Padded Stock |
This stock does a lot of things, but you gotta know that every blue and purple weapon mod has some tradeoffs you have to take into consideration. The same is the case here. It reduces all recoil and significantly reduces shot dispersion. Switching to and from this weapon becomes longer, and it slows down ADS significantly, so if you use it, use it on weapons that don’t require ADS. Namely, Torrente, Bobcat, and a new SMG, Canto. |
|
Bobcat III |
Will this SMG king be overthrown by a newcomer, Canto? We’ll see. So far, you gotta know that this is a very accurate, high RPM weapon that melts people. Missing shots is very punishing cause it chews through the mag in less than 0.5 seconds. |
|
Extended Light Mag 3 |
Adds 15 bullets to the mag size and turns Bobcat into an S+ tier gun. I’m not kidding, try it. |
|
Vertical Grip 3 |
Basically removes any vertical recoil, but makes ADSing super slow. You know where to put it. |
|
Raider Coins x100 |
Donation currency is needed to buy cosmetics. Save up enough and buy yourself a fancy outfit. I got three without donating a cent. |
|
Vita Spray |
Best healing item in the game, in my opinion. Not only does it heal fast, but it can heal anybody standing next to you. A game changer. |
|
Photoelectric Cloak |
You’ll need this item during the new map condition. It cloaks you from other ARCs and makes you invisible to them. |
|
Snap Hook |
Great traversal utility, but be careful using it next to an unfriendly Raider, as it’s one of the most desired (albeit rarely necessary) items in the game. |
|
Raider Coins x400 |
Yay, some more coins to buy a fancy outfit! |
All rewards here basically tell you one thing: go and fight. As the map condition is so tied to having all raiders converge in one spot with the fattest loot, it’s obvious that the tide has shifted. The devs noticed a problem of people being too friendly in an extraction shooter, mind you, and decided to act. Or maybe I’m just imagining things cause I’m a bloodthirsty loot goblin.
