When the devs were making the game, they repeatedly emphasized that they wanted to build it around weather systems and their influence on gameplay. The Dynamic Events system embodies this idea. It influences the weather in multiple ways, each changing how you approach the raid. They aren’t built equal, and some conditions are tamer than others. You can split them into two categories: Minor Events and Major Events. Minor Events don’t really change the map. Oftentimes, they just bring increased spawns of certain loot categories, like Nature or ARC loot. Major Events, though, influence the visibility, number of ARCs, loot quality, and more. Here, we’re talking about ARC Raiders map conditions in detail. We’ll cover each of them separately with explanations and gameplay tips.
One of the primary reasons to run Major Dynamic Events is to farm blueprints. Unfortunately, some of them can be quite tricky to get. Check out our ARC Raiders Blueprints services to get the ones you need for cheap!

ARC Raiders Dynamic Events

Currently, there are 12 events in the game, 7 Minor and 5 Major. They change every hour. You can see the countdown in the menu when choosing a map. If you’re targeting specific loot, we recommend planning your runs beforehand. Though you can’t see the schedule for all the event rotations inside the ARC Raiders, you can use external services for that. Each event in the game serves a specific purpose. Some are better for farming cash, some for Trials, some for loot, unique Blueprints, etc. Below, we will list the events and give a short explanation for each of them. We will then break down each event in more detail. Here are all the ARC Raiders Dynamic Events:
| Event | Explanation |
| Prospecting Probes | One of the best ways to farm ARC-specific loot. You’ll find plenty of probes scattered around the map. It’s a great place to farm items for ARC Alloy, which is needed in many crafting recipes, including the first stage of Expedition. It’s also a great source for ARC Circuitry, which you need to craft Medium Shields. |
| Husk Graveyard | Best way to farm ARC Powercells for your shield recharges. This event fills the map with tons of ARC Husks. It’s also a great way to do the Search the Husks Trial, though this event doesn’t double the points you get for searching them. |
| Uncovered Caches | A reliable grenade farm. Apart from that, you can also get the Weapon Parts blueprints and even some of the lesser rarity weapon blueprints. If you’re just starting out or freshly after a character wipe, this is your best place to strengthen your inventory fast. |
| Lush Blooms | A great place to get all the needed nature items for Scrappy upgrade. It’s especially useful for farming elusive Mushrooms. This condition spawns Fruit Baskets that contain only Nature loot. It’s also the best way to farm cash in the game, as you can get 100,000 coins on average if you know where to find the baskets. |
| Launch Tower Loot | This map condition is specific to Spaceport. It locks the Launch Towers behind two Fuel Cells that you need to find and carry to the base of the Towers and slot them into the generators. Grants some nice weapon rewards, but is extremely PvP-heavy. |
| Harvester | The only event to get the Jupiter and Equalizer blueprints. In it, you need to find a Harvester unit, guarded by a Queen ARC. Solve the puzzle and reap the rewards. That’s the only purpose of it. You can also kill the Queen to get the Queen Reactors from it to craft the Jupiter and Equalizer. |
| Matriarch | Pretty much the same as Harvester, but this time you don’t solve any puzzles. Instead, you’re just fighting a smaller, but deadlier Matriarch ARC. You can get the Matriarch Reactors upon killing this huge boss ARC. They’re needed to create the Aphelion rifle. |
| Night Raid |
The simplest of the Major Events. It’s an all-rounder map condition that gives you decent loot overall. It also doubles the points you get for Trials on it. You can also find a Tempest blueprint only during Night Raids. No raider hatches are active during it, and there are far fewer extraction points. |
| Electromagnetic Storm | Night Raid Extreme. If during the Night Raid you don’t see much, during EM Storm you don’t hear anything either. The rewards are pretty much the same as in Night Raid, but you can also get a Fossilized Lightning drop from a lightning strike. It sells for 4,000 coins but is best recycled, as it yields 3x Explosive Compound. |
| Hidden Bunker | An event that only takes place on Spaceport. Here, you need to activate 4 antennas around the map to unlock a door to the hidden bunker, where you can download data. It grants XP and also has a lot of good loot. One important thing is that you can find the Vulcano blueprint anywhere on the map during this event. |
| Locked Gate | Similar to Hidden Bunker, but on Blue Gate. The normally open underground bunker is now locked, and you need to find four Raider codes to unlock it. It’s a newly added event during which you might find the Bobcat blueprint. |
| The Cold Snap | The latest Dynamic Event added to the ARC Raiders. It covers the maps with snow and makes your character freeze and lose health if they stay out for too long. Hide in any shelter to reset the effect. The only unique drops are the themed berries, which you can sell or donate to the project. It also has frozen raider caches, which aren’t that different from normal ones. Other than that, this event has all the same bonuses as other major Dynamic Events. |
Now knowing what each of these Events has to offer, let’s have the ARC Raiders Events explained.
ARC Raiders Minor Events

The main difference between Major and Minor Events is that Minor Events do not grant any score point bonuses or overall increased loot quality. They’re narrowly focused on one specific type of loot. The ARC enemies here are tamer, and the raiders aren’t usually aggressive. These events are best if you just want to farm something while chilling. We recommend running either a very low-cost loadout or a free kit. You’re less likely to get any serious loot here, but Minor Events are best for farming things for your utility items, healing, or various consumables. There are a couple of exclusions to this rule, but we will discuss them later. Here are all the ARC Raiders Minor Events and how to approach them.
ARC Raiders Prospecting Probes
Great event to max out your ARC Alloy and ARC Circuitry. Both of these resources are extremely valuable and drain fast if you die frequently. In normal Raid, it can be dangerous to open up a probe, as it emits a loud alarm, signalling everyone that you’re breaking into it. It takes some time, and you have a limited field of view when breaking into it. Normally, people don’t tend to rush toward the closest probe when they hear someone cracking it, as the loot is not worth the shootout, but you never know. During the Prospecting Probes in ARC Raiders, you can safely loot them, as the whole map is filled with these probes. Here are a few tips to make your life easier:
- Go in Free: Since you’re not planning to get various loot here, no reason to pick a kit with a bigger number of slots. Free augment is more than enough.
- Start Breaking into Multiple Probes: As soon as you interact with the probe, it signals everyone that you’re meddling with it. You can use this as a distraction. During this event, you can find multiple probes close to each other. Interact with all of them to create a wall of sound. This will confuse any potential rat players, looking to kill you while you’re looting.
- Loot on the Outskirts: There’s no need to go into the red or yellow zones to loot the probes. They spawn everywhere around the map, so running around the edges of it is the best strategy.
Prospecting Probes are one of the best ways to farm the ARC materials, even if it might be a bit boring. Turn on some music or a video and get to work. Who knows, maybe you’ll find something valuable in one of the random probes.
ARC Raiders Husk Graveyard

Another Minor Event, useful for farming ARC loot, but this time it’s a different one. Here, you’ll target the ARC powercells. This event also has Husks that can electrocute you. They don’t deal any damage, just stun you. If you notice that the Husk you’re cracking open is electrified, just run away as soon as you open it. Husks like that have better loot than normal ones, though. We don’t have any recommendations for this event, as it’s straightforward. Also, the best place to do the “Search the Husks” Trial is as mentioned above.
ARC Raiders Uncovered Caches
The best event to find anything combat-related. Every cache contains some ammo, usually a healing item, and a grenade. These caches also seem to have increased blueprint spawn rate. You can get blueprints for blue and green weapons, as well as weapon parts and grenade blueprints. The best location to do this Minor Event at is the Buried City. You can find many of these caches in the desert area outside the city center. Here are a few recommendations:
- Gear Up: For this Minor Event, we do recommend kitting out. Raiders here can be more aggressive, as they know anyone can have a blueprint stashed in their inventory.
- Use Higher Rarity Augments: The best option is to use augments that grant multiple safe pockets. This way, you can stash all the blueprints and bring them to Speranza even if you get knocked out.
- Learn the Routes: You have a better chance of finding something useful if you can move between the potential Cache spawns fast. The best places to farm them are south of the city, then east of it. Always try to stay on the edge of the city. BLOG20
Uncovered Caches can make you rich fast. It’s one of the best ways to farm money and resources for combat early on. This is the primary priority event to optimize your early progress.
ARC Raiders Lush Blooms
AKA the big money event. Raiders here are extremely hostile, as everyone hunts for Mushrooms or just farms money. Go well-equipped, or at least bring an augment with multiple safe pocket slots. Don’t stay longer than 10 minutes, as we can guarantee that most Fruit Baskets that spawn during this event will be looted. Here, it’s extremely important to learn all the routes to reach the baskets quickly. All the locations where this event happens are great for farming, but be careful with Dam Battlegrounds. Most people know the basket spawns here inside out, so there’s less chance to find anything, unless you spawn at the beginning of the raid.
ARC Raiders Launch Tower Loot
One of the rarer Minor Events that takes place on the Spaceport map only. It locks the Launch Towers and requires you and your party to find the Fuel Cells. For this raid to go well, we recommend going in parties. Solo experience turns into a rat infestation. Even if you are first to get to the Towers, you can be sure that when you go down, you’ll be met with multiple Jolt Mines and people sitting around in the corners. This Event grants decent weapons, rare loot, and Trinkets. There are also many ARCs patrolling the Launch Towers area, so be extra careful. A fun event, if you aren’t afraid of its hectic nature.
ARC Raiders Matriarch and Harvester Events
We’ve decided to unite both of these events into one section, as they’re very similar. Harvester event requires you to do a little puzzle, the explanation of which you can find in our ARC Raiders Harvester Event Guide. The Matriarch event is a bossfight, which we also have covered in the ARC Raiders Matriarch Boss Guide. The guides, available via these links, are extensive and written in plain language. They cover the best loadouts, strategies, and what to expect from each fight. We don’t see any point in reiterating the information provided there again, but we can give a couple of recommendations:
- Do the Harvester Only Once: You get all the important loot from the Harvester on the first completion. The only reason to do it again is to kill the Queen to get the needed parts for crafting the Jupiter and Equalizer.
- Try Solo: If you’re in low-aggression lobbies, you can try persuading raiders to work together. If you find one or two cooperative raiders, you will have a much easier time than in duos or trios.
- Fight Matriarch After Queen: Without the Jupiter or Equalizer, the fight is doable, but can be difficult. Equalizer strips armor very fast, and Jupiter allows for piercing the Matriarch, granting multiple damage procs on legs and the head.
Other tips and tricks are described in the respective articles. This information is just a little extra that we can give from our own experience.
ARC Raiders Major Events

Once you know the maps inside out and are tired of seeing Il Toro as a weapon drop for the umpteenth time, it’s time to raise the stakes. While the ARC Raiders Major Events are much harder than normal maps, they also give much better rewards, like higher rarity loot and 2x Trials points. When you start doing them, the only point in coming back to normal maps is to do the quests. The difficulty curve rises, the ARCs become more aggressive and frequent, and the raiders you meet aren’t screaming “don’t shoot.” That’s where the boys become men. Okay, maybe we’re overselling the difficulty, but it’s definitely more fun and satisfying than normal maps. As with Minor Events, we will explain each Major Dynamic Event and offer a tip or two on how to approach them.
ARC Raiders Night Raid

The most basic of all the Major Events. The nighttime maps aren’t that different gameplay-wise from the normal ones. While some people say it’s definitely harder to see enemies shooting at you, we gotta say it’s overexaggerated. Even without the brightness settings cranked up to eleven, you can still see the movement alright. The true difficulty increase lies in the number of ARCs that spawn during the night. Not only are there more of them, but it also seems that the number of boss ARCs increases, too. For instance, a nighttime Blue Gate introduces two Rocketeers patrolling between the Checkpoint and Pilgrim’s Peak areas.
The Night Raid in ARC Raiders is the recommended way to finish the weekly Trials. Compared to other Major Events, this is the least drastic, making it well-suited for farming as well. If you think that red locations on the map drop subpar loot, try going there at night and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. There’s only one tip we can give you: don’t wear any apparel or backpacks that glow in the dark unless you want to give away your location intentionally.
ARC Raiders Electromagnetic Storm Event
This is a step up compared to Night Raid. The ARC Raiders Electromagnetic Storm event is among the most challenging. Not only can you barely see anything, but your hearing is also severely influenced by thunder cracking and the constant barrage of rain. You’re unlikely to detect a player unless they’re close. Paradoxically, this makes the game a bit less stressful. This, however, doesn’t apply to ARCs, which have a tendency to appear out of nowhere, it seems. In densely populated areas, ARCs pose a significant problem. Here are a couple of pieces of advice to make your EM Storm raiding more enjoyable:
- Don’t Stay in One Place: It seems that the longer you stay in one position, the higher the chance of lightning hitting you. This applies to open areas but not to the interiors of buildings.
- Listen Closely When Inside: Traps set by the campers are less identifiable due to loud noises.
- Use Environmental Factors: One of the best ways to fight big ARCs is by baiting them into lightning strikes. We don’t recommend doing it solo, but in a party it works really well.
Electromagnetic Storm tends to create situations where you die to most unexpected occurrences. Don’t take too much with you. Use weapons you have blueprints for to diminish the stress of equipment loss.
ARC Raiders Hidden Bunker Event
This event takes place at Spaceport. It’s one of the best places to farm XP, and it’s relatively safe. Most people here tend to work together, since everybody knows that the best loot is inside the Hidden Bunker. Unlike in normal maps, here you are given a 40-minute timer during which you need to activate four antennas and then head to the Bunker. Inside the Bunker, you’ll find 8 consoles from which you can download the data. Anyone waiting close to the console can take the data for themselves, so be vigilant. Usually, the players spread out, and each downloads data from their console, moving in circles until each downloads all 8 data pieces.
The Bunker is well-guarded by Bastions and Bombardiers, making it one of the best places to farm them for Trials. You can also find the Vulcano blueprint here. You don’t necessarily need to open the Bunker to find it, but you're more likely to find it there. Unless your purpose is to farm Bastions and Bombardiers, you'd better off going in on a free kit. This is basically it for the ARC Raiders Hidden Bunker event explanation, but if you need more information, check out the ARC Raiders Spaceport Map Guide.
ARC Raiders Locked Gate Event
The ARC Raiders Locked Gate event is really similar to the Hidden Bunker one. This time, though, you need to find 4 Security Codes. They can be found in several places and it seems that you can get only one version of each. That means is you kill someone before the Gate is open, you can lock yourself out of reaching it as they can put the Code in their safe pocket. The Security Codes are a physical loot you can find in one of the four locations:
- Pilgrim’s Peak
- Raider’s Refuge
- Ancient Fort
- Reinforced Reception
Once you find your piece, go to the Gate Control Room east of the Checkpoint. There, you enter your code; once all four are entered, the main entrance to the underground area will open at the Checkpoint. This is the part where you need to be extra careful, as your allies can become hostile. If they hold the gun in their hands, ask them to put it away, and if they refuse - shoot them. Behind the Gate, you’ll find tons of good loot and, of course, a Bobcat blueprint.
ARC Raiders Cold Snap Event

The newest Major Event was added in the last big update. It brings snowy weather to all maps, except for Stella Montis. You drop on the map, and your character starts freezing as soon as they go outside. That’s basically the only key feature of this Event. Though it might sound dangerous, it’s actually quite forgiving. It takes time for your character to actually start losing their health, and don’t forget that the majority of the maps are full of various shelters. Anything that has walls counts as a shelter. The ARC Raiders Cold Snap event doesn’t have any unique drops, except for Candleberries, which are an event item. They can be sold for a decent price or used in a project. Another thing unique to the Cold Snap event is a Buried City puzzle. There are 15 buttons scattered around the map that you need to press in the right order. We have a full guide on How to Solve the Buried City Secret Puzzle in ARC Raiders. The reward is pretty fun, but it’s mostly not worth the hassle. One final thing to take into account in this event is that it seems that the loot drops here are much better than during the other Major Events. It makes it one of the best Dynamic Events for loot in ARC Raiders.
Conclusion
Now that you know how all the Dynamic Events work, you can plan your runs, instead of just piling up items that will lie unused. We always recommend playing the Dynamic Events instead of the usual maps, as the rewards are always much better. While normal maps provide a good introduction to them and help you learn the layout, Dynamic Events are where the loot is.
F.A.Q
What are Dynamic Events in ARC Raiders?
Dynamic Events are rotating, match-to-match modifiers that increase map difficulty and loot. They can include major encounters and special conditions like storms or limited-time events.
In ARC Raiders, how do Dynamic Events rotate, and how often do they change?
Events rotate on a schedule and can lock certain content behind specific windows, which is why many players track the timeline. Rotation details can vary by map and time window.
Is there a way to track ARC Raiders Dynamic Event timers in real time?
Yes. You can find multiple community tools online that not only tell you the current events, but also the upcoming ones, too.
Which Dynamic Events are best for loot farming in ARC Raiders?
We suggest trying Cold Snap, Uncovered Caches, and Night Raids. Other events, while granting unique loot, can present a higher risk, and the reward is not always worth it.
