Spaceport is a large map, but the main points of interest lie in its southern part. If you’ve unlocked a Security Breach perk, this map becomes the best place to farm weapons. If you have a Hullcracker, Aphelion, or Jupiter, it becomes a great place to farm ARCs, too. When you notice a big map modifier called Hidden Bunker, that’s when you can rack up some insane XP. All of the ways to farm it will be mentioned in the article. So without further ado, let’s talk about the Spaceport map.
Before we jump into the discussion, why not try our Spaceport Raid Boost? With the routes our Pros use, you’ll get tons of loot and XP in no time.

Spaceport Raid Guide

Starting off our Spaceport raid guide with a list of key differences. What makes the Spaceport stand out from other maps? To be honest, not that much. It’s an open map, but not to the degree of the Blue Gate. It’s a map with big buildings in which you can fight other players, like in the Buried City. It has a big, towering building in the center, much like the Dam. So what’s the catch? Let’s look into it:
- Abundance of ARCs: Nearly every major location has a boss ARC spawn near it. It has the biggest number of Bastion spawns than any other map. The area around the Launch Towers is filled with boss enemies. That’s exactly where we will be farming XP.
- Loot Density: No other map has as many Security Lockers. Even after the nerf, you can still get Rare and Epic guns from them. This is hands down the best map for farming guns.
- PvE Oriented: There are some hot zones where players fight, but generally, this map doesn’t have a lot of PvP. Even in squads.
Apart from that, it doesn’t really do things any differently from other maps. It focuses primarily on providing a robust, all-around experience. If you want to really understand what ARC Raiders is about, this is probably the best map to do that.
Best Places to Loot in Spaceport
Spaceport has predominantly Commercial and Technological loot. It also contains many Security areas where you can find weapons. Most colored looting zones are located around the central area, also called the Spaceport. Let’s go over the best places to loot in Spaceport:
- Departure Building: One of the biggest buildings, where the majority of PvP fights happen. It’s also a place where farming boss ARCs is the safest. It contains Commercial and Technological loot. There are three possible weapon case spawns here on the second and third floors.
- Launch Towers: The dead center of the map contains tons of Technological and Security loot. If you are looking to find many grenades and weapons, it’s your go-to. Two weapon crates are located at the very top of the towers. One on the east tower and another one inside this radio shack. Watch out, as this area is usually guarded by a Rocketeer that will make your ascension unforgettable.
- Arrival Building: A crucial point on our way to farm the weapons. It has Commercial and Technological loot, along with a ton of weapon crates. Two of them are located inside the building. One at the bottom of the building near the vertical zipline. Another can be found in the southeast corner of the building. The third one spawns on the building's roof.
- Control Tower A6: Commercial and Technological loot. This area is usually skipped when doing the loot run. It contains just one possible weapon crate spawn, locked behind a keycard door.
- Container Storage: Industrial and Mechanical loot. If you’re doing an optimized loot route, don’t go there. If you need materials for crafting, this is one of the best places to loot. You’ll easily find all the hard-to-get loot, like Rusted Gears and Advanced Mechanical Components.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Industrial and Mechanical loot, much like in Container Storage. Pretty much the same stuff.
- Rocket Assembly: Industrial and Exodus materials. Exodus materials are very valuable, since they are needed in crafting the Epic weapons, like Hullbreaker, Tempest, and Bobcat. They are some of the best weapons in the game. If you didn’t find any good weapons while doing the loot route, try going to the Rocket Assembly.
- North and South Trench Towers: Purely Technological loot. They’re pretty far away from the best spots on the map. Only ever check them if you spawn in the North.
And that concludes the best areas to loot. There are so many weapon crates here that you’re almost guaranteed to find one gun per run. With our loot path, this is going to be a piece of cake. Let’s move on to it.
Best Loot Path on Spaceport
Despite what people say, there’s no truly safe loot path in the game. Every run you make, you’ll meet some form of complication. The loot path we will show you is almost always filled with other players. For a good reason, though, as you can potentially get 10 weapon crate spawns throughout. First of all, this loot path works best if you spawn on the Northern side of the map. Another way this loot route may work is if you spawn on the South-West side of the map. Bear in mind that this is only worth checking if you spawn early. If you spawn around the 17-20 minute mark, don’t bother doing it. The locations will almost certainly be completely looted. Now let’s take a look at the best loot path on Spaceport:
- Starting at the Spawn: You have two ways, depending on your spawn location. If you spawned in the North, go to the Arrival Building. If you spawned in the South-West, go to the Departure Building. For the sake of brevity, we will assume you spawned in the North.
- Reach the Arrival Building: Search the top and ground floors. Weapon crates spawn there. One of the crate spawns is shown in the image below.

- Move Along the Perimeter: Your next stop is the Departure Building. The Arrival Building is connected to it via a wall with overwatch towers. Each tower has a chance of a weapon crate spawning there. Each of them also has a Security locker which you can open. Watch out, as there are often other players around.

- Go Down: Look for small buildings near the overwatch towers. They have security lockers and grenade spawns.

- Extract: If you started at North, extract at Western Elevator. If you started at South, you can exit at the Central Elevator.
That’s it. This short route will bring you good loot and weapons. Watch out for campers, as overwatch towers can have them. Jump off the rappel at the second floor and listen to the mines or tripwires. You can just throw a grenade at the top floor to make sure nobody’s camping there. BLOG20
Spaceport Hidden Bunker Event Explained
Spaceport occasionally has a big map condition called Hidden Bunker. The task is to activate four antennas in the North, South, East, and West. You can see their location on the map. Upon activation, the antenna will spawn minor ARCs, such as Wasp and Hornets. You need to stay close for it to activate. Let’s have the Spaceport Hidden Bunker event explained. Here are the locations of all towers:
-
Antenna Location North Antenna Roof of the Shipping Warehouse
Western Antenna On top of the Departure Building.
Eastern Antenna At the Rocket Assembly zone. Southern Antenna Vehicle Maintenance, the North-West corner of the location. After activating all of them, the Bunker opens. The Bunker has three entrance points, located just south of the Departure Building. They are guarded by Bastions and Bombardiers. Most of the time, you can just ignore them and run inside. You can see two entrances in the screenshot below.

And here you can see the third entrance, right outside of the Departure Building on the South side.

Inside, you’ll need to find consoles. There is a total of 8 consoles located inside it. Using the console will start a download timer. When the download completes, use the console again to gather the data. Gathering the data rewards you with Trial Points (800 per data) and 500 XP for each data download. Players need to download data from all 8 terminals; otherwise, the event will not be completed. After you’re done downloading the data, extract at the nearest possible location.
Spaceport Harvester Event
We should mention that the Spaceport sometimes hosts a Harvester event. The Queen and the Harvester usually spawn South of the Vehicle Maintenance zone and right to the Maintenance Hangar. If you don’t know how to do the puzzle, check out our ARC Raiders Harvester Guide. Here’s a short step-by-step guide to a Spaceport Harvester event:
- Get Inside the Harvester: Search for three containers while inside.
- Place the Containers in the Central Engine: Once placed, alarm lights will appear.
- Destroy the Alarm Lights: Once you do that, the puzzle will be over. Loot the central engine, get the Jupiter and the Equalizer blueprints, and extract.
While you’re inside the Harvester, the Queen will overcharge the central engine. It has two effects. The first will start a fire inside the engine, which deals massive damage. Run outside when you see that the engine turns red. Another effect is electrocuting you, instantly killing your shields. Luckily, there’s no damage to your health. Just take off the shields before going in. People often camp outside the puzzle to kill and take your loot, so be careful. To make matters worse, the Raider Hatches are pretty far from the Harvester area. The loot you get from this puzzle is completely worth the hassle, though.
Spaceport ARC XP Farm
Spaceport is a great place to farm XP and materials off of boss ARCs like Bombardier, Leaper, and a Rocketeer. To do it effectively, follow these steps in the Spaceport ARC XP farm plan:
- Pick the Right Loadout: It’s best done if you have a Hullcracker, Jupiter, or Aphelion rifle equipped. Take a couple of Wolfpacks with you as well.
- Get to the Top of the Departure Building: This is the best place to farm, as it only has one ladder leading to the rooftop. You can barricade the ladder once you’re up and place mines and tripwires there. This will ensure you will not be sneaked up on by other players. You can see the ladder in the screenshot. It's on the South side of the building.
- Look Around: The Leaper usually spawns in the North of the location. Rocketeer can be triggered by shooting him near the Launch Towers. Bastion sometimes can spawn right in front of the ladder, and if it does, you’re in a tough situation. Try distracting it with one of the grenades, then climb the ladder immediately.
- Play Strategically: Most of the boss ARCs can be kited around the rectangular voltage booth on the West side of the roof. Leaper is the only one that could be a problem, as it will jump onto the booth.
This can be a bit dangerous, so if you aren’t skilled enough, don’t try it solo. Bring your friend along so that they can revive you if you get downed. After that, loot the ARCs, extract, and watch your XP rise to the sky. Looting the ARCs is very important, as big boys contain many lootable parts. Searching each grants between 200-500 XP. Usually, you can get between 30000-45000 XP per run this way.
Spaceport Best Extraction Points
Spaceport has 4 extraction points, 3 of which are quite decent and safe to extract from. Unfortunately, Raider Hatches on this map are very inconveniently placed. So much so that it might be intentional. Two are located next to the Launch Towers, and two are located in the West and East Container Yards. The only viable Raider Hatch is the Control Hatch, north of the Control Tower A6. With these exfil spots, you don’t really need Raider Hatches. Here are the Spaceport’s best extraction points:
- Western Elevator: It’s outside of the danger zone, and you can get to it fast after doing the loot run. There are some minor ARC patrols there, but nothing too serious.
- Central Elevator: Despite being in the middle of nowhere with lots of vast spaces around, it’s surprisingly safe. Once you start the extraction, go in the direction of Launch Towers. There, you’ll see a half-broken construction. Hide under it, as it’s pretty dark, and you can hide from the raiders and ARCs there.
- South Elevator: This and the following extraction points are pretty dangerous. There’s occasionally a Rocketeer patrolling around this area. There aren’t many hideout spots to safely wait for the extraction to arrive. Still, not the worst place if you can avoid being spotted by ARCs.
- East Elevator: This is by far the worst spot to extract at. No absolute cover around; you’ll have to wait in the open for the extraction to arrive. To add to the “fun” factor, a Bombardier is frequently spawning around this part. So if you’re short on time and the Bombardier’s drones are around, better pray you’re lucky.
Overall, Spaceport offers decent rewards, but the extraction process is quite dangerous. The only exception is the Western Elevator, but its timer usually runs out early on in the raid.
Conclusion
That is it for our Spaceport map guide. Spaceport is a fun and unpredictable map, where each run may end unexpectedly. Hopefully, with this guide, you’ll have much smoother runs! More guides are coming soon, but until then - see you Topside, raider.
