Diablo 4 Complete Boss Loot Table Quick Overview:
- Not one source right now have a defined and 100% confirmed boss loot table. It’s all being researched “as we speak.”
- There are 18 non-boss Uniques and 11 multi-class Uniques
- Each boss has a list of uniques that have a higher chance of dropping in that specific encounter
- Mythic Uniques can be acquired from all bosses
- Belial, Lord of Lies is a unique encounter because it can have any other boss loot table of your choosing.

General Uniques Pool

The General Unique Pool is the extra loot pool that can appear alongside a boss’s dedicated drops in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred. Each Lair Boss still has its own main loot table, but general Uniques can also show up while farming bosses on Torment 1 or higher. This means a boss kill can reward one of its dedicated drops, a shared general Unique, or in some cases an item from the wider boss loot pool.
I want to start by listing some general uniques that can drop from all bosses. In other words, on top of boss-specific uniques, all of the bosses that you fight have the same pool of uniques that have a chance of dropping. Obviously, you need to be at least on Torment 1 for this kind of loot drops. Higher Torment tiers actually offer better chances for dropping uniques. Here it is:
|
Non-Boss Uniques |
|
Banished Lord’s Talisman, Blood-Mad Idol, Endurant Faith, Fists of Fate |
|
Flickerstep, Frostburn, Locran’s Talisman, Mother’s Embrace |
|
Penitent Greaves, Rakanoth’s Wake, Rustbitten Dirk, Soulbrand |
|
Tassets of the Dawning Sky, Thousand-Eye Reaver, Thundergod’s Blessing |
|
Tibault’s Will, Wendigo Brand, Wyrdskin |
Then there are also 11 named unique items that can be equipped by any class.

Obviously, if your build requires one of these “class-fluid” uniques, now you know which boss you should murder to get it.
Once I get to listing full loot tables for each boss, you’ll see these items in their respective loot tables. I just wanted to highlight them here, in case you’re looking for them specifically.
Every Boss in the Game with A Loot Table
I’d like to start by dropping a list of bosses in the game that have a loot table with something you might be interested in. Lord of Hatred has 38 bosses but none of them mentioned by any of the sources like WoWhead, Mobalytics, or Maxroll that list boss loot tables. That’s because these new bosses don’t have anything interesting to offer. Just like before, you’re stuck with the same list of 12 bosses each of which has a dedicated loot table with boss-specific uniques. So, in this table below, you’ll find each of 12 bosses, where they reside, how to access them, etc.

Echo of Varshan, Grigoire, The Beast in the Ice, Lord Zir, and Urivar use regular Lair Keys. Duriel, Andariel, Harbinger of Hatred, and The Butcher move into the Greater Lair Boss category and require Greater Lair Keys. Astaroth and Bartuc are tied to their own activities, while Belial works differently by copying another boss’s selected loot table.
Another warning that I must make here is the fact that as of writing this article, none of the sources I mentioned earlier have matching loot tables for each boss. That’s because the community is still working to confirm where each unique belongs. This especially applies to some Spiritborn items.
All Boss Uniques Loot Tables in Diablo 4
The following tables include all confirmed and slightly less confirmed uniques marked as (*). The final list might be slightly different, but not by much. I will obviously update it once I have confirmation for the questionable items. One more thing, there’s a +33% Unique drop bonus per party member if you’re playing a group.

He also offers a bunch of uniques for Warlock class.
Belial, Lord of Lies Loot Table
Belial, Lord of Lies works differently from the other bosses. He does not have a fixed dedicated loot table in the source. Instead, his rewards copy the boss loot table you select before the encounter. He also has a chance to drop Ancestral quality of uniques that may have additional affixes.
This makes Belial a flexible farming option rather than a normal loot-table boss. If you select The Beast in the Ice, Belial can drop items from The Beast in the Ice table. If you select Duriel, he uses Duriel’s table instead. According to the source, Belial also has a higher stated chance to drop Mythic Uniques than other Lair Bosses.
Mythic Unique Boss Drops

Mythic Uniques are the rarest boss drops in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred. They are not tied to one specific Lair Boss in the same way as regular dedicated Uniques. Every boss I listed has a chance to drop Mythic Unique items.
This means you do not need to farm a separate boss only for Mythics. You can focus on the boss that drops the regular Unique your build needs, while still having a chance to receive a Mythic Unique along the way. Belial is the main exception worth noting, as the source states that he has a higher Mythic Unique drop chance than other Lair Bosses.

For most players, the best approach is to treat Mythic Uniques as a bonus while target farming regular boss drops. Any Mythic Unique drop from that same farm is extra value, especially if it fits your class or build.
Boss Trophies and Horadric Cube Unique Crafting
There’s one more thing. You can get specific uniques by crafting them from Boss Trophies in the Horadric Cube.
Boss Trophies are special materials that can be used to create random Unique items through the Horadric Cube. This is one of the better ways to chase items from a specific boss loot table without relying only on direct boss kills. The system is simple: collect five Boss Trophies of the same type, place them into the Horadric Cube, and use Amalgamation to receive a random Unique from that boss’s loot pool.
Boss Trophies can drop from many sources on Torment difficulty, including Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, bosses, elites, and reward chests. However, the most reliable way to get a specific trophy is still to defeat the matching Lair Boss and open its Treasure Hoard. Regular Lair Bosses require Lair Keys, while some higher-tier bosses require Greater Lair Keys.
|
Lair Boss |
Boss Trophy |
|
Urivar |
Judicator’s Mask |
|
The Beast in the Ice |
Distilled Fear |
|
Echo of Varshan |
Malignant Heart |
|
Lord Zir |
Exquisite Blood |
|
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint |
Living Steel |
|
Andariel |
Pincushioned Doll |
|
Duriel, King of Maggots |
Shards of Agony |
|
Harbinger of Hatred |
Abhorrent Heart |
This makes Boss Trophies useful for target farming. For example, if you need a Unique from Lord Zir’s table, you can collect Exquisite Blood and use five of them in the Horadric Cube for a random Lord Zir Unique. It does not guarantee the exact item you want, but it keeps the reward tied to that boss’s loot pool.
There is one important tradeoff. Boss Trophies can also be turned into Lair Keys at the Alchemist, which lets you open Treasure Hoards after boss kills. Since Treasure Hoards can also drop Uniques and scale better at higher Torment tiers, it may be better to save trophies for keys if you are farming bosses efficiently. The Horadric Cube option is best when you want a quick extra roll from a specific boss table.
F.A.Q.
How to target-farm uniques in Diablo 4?
To target-farm Uniques, find the boss tied to the item you need, then farm that boss’s required activity or key. Bosses can still drop other unique items, but their dedicated loot table gives you the best shot at specific class Uniques.
Are there unique items that can be equipped on all classes in Diablo 4?
Yes, some Uniques are shared across all classes or multiple classes. Items like Harlequin Crest, Andariel’s Visage, Ring of Starless Skies, and Tyrael’s Might are for all classes.
How many uniques are there in Diablo 4?
In this Lord of Hatred Season 13 boss loot source, there are 271 named Unique and Mythic Unique items. That includes 258 regular Uniques from boss and general loot tables, plus 13 Mythic Uniques.
How to farm Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4?
Farm Lair Bosses that also drop the regular Uniques your build needs. Every boss in this guide can drop Mythic Uniques, while Belial has a higher stated Mythic Unique drop chance than other Lair Bosses.
How to find out which boss can drop a unique that I need?
Find boss loot tables and search which one has a chance of dropping the item you need.
