AION 2 Daily Checklist

Why would you want to burden yourself with a daily checklist? Well, as it happens, all Korean MMORPGs have a few systems that act as anchors aimed at slowing down your progression. They either stop you from grinding the same content over and over again without end, or make sure that you get diminishing returns or none at all. So, a daily checklist ensures that you’re using every “energy” system and every playlist or activity “cooldown” to the max, and getting the maximum amount of rewards possible in a day or week. Another thing worth mentioning before I talk about any kind of checklist is the necessity of alt characters. The thing is - you can and should do some of the things from the checklist on your main and your alt characters as well. As many as you have created. Because not every cooldown or resource is shared between characters, this lets you use those cooldowns and resources on each character, therefore getting more rewards out of the game. I will do my best to mark exactly what you can only do on your main and what can be done extra amount of times on your alts. Now, funny enough, AION 2 does not have a huge list of true daily activities. The main one is Duty Quests, while several other systems simply regenerate resources every day.

Duty Quests

You can complete 5 Duty Quests per day. They are shared across the server, so there is no need to repeat them on alts.

The objectives are usually very simple. Most send you into the open world to kill a few enemies or a nearby boss, so they only take a few minutes.

Each Duty Quest gives a guaranteed reward plus several random reward options. The most useful rewards to look for are:

  • Crystals of any type
  • Hidden Cube Keys
  • Unique or gold-rarity items and materials

Because Duty Quests reset daily, they should be one of the first things you complete after logging in once they are unlocked.

AION 2 Weekly Checklist

Weekly activities are a little more involved, and this is also where alt characters start to matter more. Some limits are shared, while others are tracked separately for every character. That means certain weeklies can be repeated on each alt for additional rewards.

Alts Get Extra Attempts?

Ascension Trial

3 runs per character

Yes

Daily Dungeon

14 entries

No

Battlefield

3 victory rewards per character

Yes

Ascension Trial

You can complete 3 Ascension Trial runs per week on every character, which means each alt gives you another 3 runs. It is a solo dungeon where you clear several rooms of enemies before fighting a boss at the end, and higher difficulties give better rewards. I would not rush all three attempts right after the weekly reset. Waiting until later in the week gives you more time to improve your character and potentially clear a higher difficulty.

Daily Dungeon

Despite the name, Daily Dungeon is managed as a weekly activity. You get 14 entries per week, and each run gives you 1 minute and 30 seconds to kill as many enemies as possible. Your final score determines the rewards. Your alts do not give you another set of entries here, so this is something you only need to manage on your main. Since rewards depend on performance, it also makes sense to save these runs until later in the week when your character is stronger.

Battlefield

Battlefield is AION 2's balanced PvP mode. You can earn 3 victory rewards per week on every character, so every alt gives you another set of 3 rewards. Unlike Ascension Trial and Daily Dungeon, there is less reason to deliberately save Battlefield until the end of the week. You can work toward those wins whenever it fits your schedule.

Daily-Recharging Resources

Not everything you need to track in AION 2 resets at a fixed daily or weekly time. Some resources regenerate automatically instead, so the main goal is to unlock them early and avoid sitting at the cap for too long.

Shugo Festival Keys

Level 45

Odyle Energy

Odyle Energy is used to claim dungeon rewards after killing the final boss. Opening one reward cube costs 40 Odyle Energy, while claiming both rewards with a subscription costs 80.

You unlock the system at Level 22 when the game sends you to Crow Cave. From that point on, you regenerate 15 Odyle every 3 hours, which comes out to 120 per day, and you can store up to 840. This resource is tracked separately for every character. That means each alt has its own Odyle Energy pool and regeneration, so getting alts to Level 22 early gives you access to more total dungeon reward claims.

Shugo Festival Keys

Shugo Festival unlocks at Level 13. You get 2 keys per day and can hold up to 14 at once. The important difference here is that Shugo Festival keys are shared across your characters. Alts do not create extra keys, so there is no benefit in doing the event on multiple characters just to get more entries. You also do not need to spend these keys every day. The main thing is to avoid staying at the 14-key cap, because that means you stop gaining new ones.

Nightmare Tickets

Nightmare unlocks at Level 45 and uses tickets instead of Energy. You get 2 tickets per day and can store up to 14. Unlike Shugo Festival keys, Nightmare tickets are tracked separately for every character. Each alt that reaches Level 45 starts building its own ticket pool, which gives you extra Nightmare attempts over time. There is also no need to burn these tickets immediately. Letting them build while your character gets stronger can be useful, as long as you avoid sitting at the cap.

Weekly Crafts & Shops

AION 2 also has several weekly-limited crafts and shop purchases that are easy to forget because they are not tied to a dungeon or playlist. Most of them are there to give you more entries, more Odyle Energy, or extra progression materials, so they are worth checking before the weekly reset.

Substance Morph Odyle Crafts

Substance Morph lets you craft extra Odyle Energy every week, which directly translates into more dungeon reward claims. On your main, you can craft 20 Odyle Energy items in total, while each alt gets another 4 character-specific crafts. This is one of the clearest examples of why alts matter for weekly progression, since every additional character gives you another small batch of Odyle.

Subscriber Shop

If you have a subscription, the Wind Breeze Merchant has several weekly purchases worth checking. The most important ones are extra Odyle Energy, 21 additional Daily Dungeon tickets, and Soul Crystals used for Genus progression. The Odyle purchases follow a similar structure to Substance Morph, with 20 available on your main and another 4 on each alt, while the other weekly purchases are handled on the main.

PvE and PvP Weekly Quests

The Command Merchants also sell weekly quest scrolls that you can buy and save for later. You can purchase up to 12 PvE quests per server from the main-city Command Merchant and up to 20 PvP quests per server from the Abyss merchant. These limits are shared across the server, so alts do not give you another batch. You do not have to complete the quests immediately either, which makes buying them before the reset more important than rushing to finish them the moment you get them.

Abyss Events

Abyss events are another part of the weekly routine, but unlike the activities above, they depend on a fixed event schedule and your faction’s performance. The main one is Artifact Siege, which takes place on Wednesday and Saturday in the version shown in the source. Winning an artifact gives your faction access to an Abyss Corridor, so the number of Corridors available depends on how many artifacts your side controls. Вставленный текст

Artifact Siege

During Artifact Siege, both factions fight over three artifacts in the Abyss. Each artifact your faction wins unlocks one Abyss Corridor until the next siege, so winning two artifacts would give your side access to two Corridors. The important thing for the checklist is simply to know when the siege happens and whether your faction unlocked any Corridors afterward.

Abyss Corridors

Abyss Corridors are short timed instances where you have 2 minutes to kill as many enemies as possible. The main rewards are Kina and Abyss Points, and you can run the available Corridors on both your main and your alts. That means alts do give you extra value here, because each character can complete the unlocked Corridors separately before the next Artifact Siege.

Optional Activities

Not everything in AION 2 needs to be treated as mandatory progression. World Bosses and Supply Requests can both be useful, but whether they are worth doing depends on what is available, what materials you already have, and how much time you want to spend on them. Вставленный текст

World Bosses

You can check upcoming World Boss spawns from the map and join them whenever one happens to be convenient. There are PvE bosses in the open world and additional bosses in the Abyss, and participating gives you a chance at extra loot. I would not build my entire schedule around the regular PvE bosses, though. If one is spawning while you are already online, it makes sense to join, but there is no need to treat every spawn as mandatory.

Supply Requests

Supply Requests ask you to turn in specific gear pieces, gathering materials, or other resources in exchange for Abyss Points and additional rewards. They are split into daily Emergency Requests, weekly requests, and seasonal requests, and every player receives the same requirements. That can make certain requested materials much more expensive on the market, especially around weekly resets. Because of that, I would check the requests regularly but only complete the ones that make sense financially; sometimes selling the requested materials for Kina is more valuable than turning them in yourself.

Best AION 2 Week 1 Plan

Before planning the first week, it is important to understand how the weekly reset will likely work. Based on Korea and Taiwan, AION 2 should reset weekly activities on Wednesday. If Global follows the same schedule, Founder’s Pack players starting on September 30 get a full seven-day cycle before the first reset, while players starting on October 5 only get two days.

The weekly reset should refresh Ascension Trial attempts, Daily Dungeon entries, Battlefield victory rewards, weekly Substance Morph crafts, weekly shop limits, and weekly PvE/PvP quest purchases. Duty Quests reset daily instead. Odyle Energy, Shugo Festival Keys, and Nightmare Tickets do not reset weekly; they regenerate over time and only become a problem if you let them sit at cap.

Founder’s Pack Owners: September 30 Start

When

Main Priorities

Day 1

Get planned characters to Level 22, push main to Level 45, complete 5 Duty Quests

Days 2–6

Daily Duty Quests, level alts, finish side progression, push main toward 1,400 item level

Along the Way

Battlefield wins, Shugo Festival, Abyss Corridors, side content on alts

Before Reset

Spend capped Odyle, do Nightmare, Ascension Trial, Daily Dungeon, weekly crafts, shop purchases

Day 1

The main goal is to unlock the systems that start generating resources over time. Get every character you plan to use to Level 22 so Odyle Energy starts regenerating, then push your main to Level 45 to unlock Nightmare and Duty Quests. Finish the day by completing your first 5 Duty Quests.

Days 2–6

From here, keep doing your 5 Duty Quests daily and focus on progression. Level your planned alts, finish leftover story and side content, clear Sealed Dungeons and Strongholds, collect feathers, and raise your main toward 1,400 item level. You can also fit in Battlefield wins, Shugo Festival runs, and Abyss Corridors whenever convenient.

Before the Weekly Reset

This is when you cash out anything you intentionally delayed. Complete Ascension Trial, Daily Dungeon, Nightmare, weekly crafts, and weekly shop purchases, and make sure Odyle Energy is not sitting at cap. These activities benefit from being done later because your character should be stronger by then.

Free-to-Play Players: October 5 Start

When

Main Priorities

Day 1

Get planned characters to Level 22, push main to Level 45, complete 5 Duty Quests

Day 2 Priority 1

Ascension Trial, Daily Dungeon, Odyle crafts, Subscriber Shop

Day 2 Priority 2

5 Duty Quests, buy PvE/PvP weeklies, level alts

Day 2 Priority 3

Battlefield, side progression, item-level gains

Day 1

The unlock priorities stay the same: Level 22 on planned characters, Level 45 on the main, then 5 Duty Quests. The difference is that you have almost no time to delay weekly content.

Day 2

Your first priority is clearing anything that would reset and disappear, especially Ascension Trial and Daily Dungeon. After that, do weekly Odyle crafts and shop purchases if you can afford them, then buy the PvE and PvP weekly quests because those can be stored for later. Battlefield and side progression come after that.

F.A.Q.

What should I do every day in AION 2?

The only true daily activity in this checklist is Duty Quests, with 5 available per day. You should also keep an eye on Odyle Energy, Shugo Festival Keys, and Nightmare Tickets so they do not sit at cap and waste regeneration.

What should I do every week in AION 2?

The main weekly tasks are:

  • 3 Ascension Trial runs
  • 14 Daily Dungeon entries
  • 3 Battlefield victory rewards
  • Weekly Odyle crafts
  • Subscriber Shop purchases
  • PvE and PvP weekly quests
  • Abyss Corridors when available

Some of these are server-wide, while others can be repeated on alts for extra rewards.

Should I do Ascension Trial immediately after reset?

Usually, no. Since Ascension Trial has multiple difficulties, waiting until later in the week gives you more time to improve your character and potentially clear a harder version for better rewards. Just make sure all three attempts are used before reset.

Should I save Daily Dungeon until later in the week?

Yes, that usually makes sense. Your rewards depend on how many enemies you kill during the timer, so a stronger character can earn a better score. Since the entries are handled weekly, there is no need to rush all of them at the start of the week.

Do I need alts in AION 2?

You do not strictly need alts, but they give you extra value from systems with per-character limits. The main examples are Ascension Trial, Battlefield rewards, Odyle Energy, and Nightmare Tickets. Each alt gives you another set of attempts or another independent resource pool.

Which activities do not give extra rewards on alts?

Duty Quests, Daily Dungeon entries, Shugo Festival Keys, PvE weekly quests, and PvP weekly quests are shared or limited at the server level. That means creating another character does not give you a fresh set of those activities.

When should I spend Odyle Energy?

You should save Odyle Energy if you are close to unlocking a better dungeon, but you should not let it sit at the 840 cap. The goal is to spend it on worthwhile dungeon rewards while keeping regeneration active.

What should I prioritize during the first week?

The basic order is:

  1. Get planned characters to Level 22.
  2. Push the main to Level 45.
  3. Complete 5 Duty Quests daily.
  4. Build item level and finish important side progression.
  5. Clear anything weekly before reset.

The goal is to unlock time-gated systems early, then use the rest of the week to improve your character before spending limited attempts.

When does the AION 2 weekly reset happen?

Based on the Korea and Taiwan versions, the weekly reset is expected to happen on Wednesday. If Global follows the same schedule, Founder’s Pack players starting on September 30 get a full first week, while October 5 players only get two days before the first reset.
