D2 Pantheon 2.0 Calus Strategy

The fight starts in a room that has four pillars and symbols associated with them. You’re going to want to memorize them. There are four of them:
- Cup
- Axes
- Sun
- Dog
You may call them what you want; just make sure everyone calls them the same in your raid team so there’s no confusion.
The encounter starts when you shoot the cup that Calus drinks from. When he drops it, the adds will spawn. Continue to kill adds, and at some point, Calus will clap, and you will be sent into the shadow realm version of the arena. In front of you will be a barrier and beyond it a few shadow orbs floating around. Have 3 of your teammates jump over the barrier and touch the balls, which will send them back into the normal arena, while the rest will stay in the shadow realm.
Shadow Realm Team

In the shadow realm, Calus’s head will start inhaling an attack that sucks you into his mouth, and in order not to get pulled in, you need to stay inside the barrier. Also, there’ll be symbols appearing on Calus’s forehead. The team in the shadow realm needs to call out the symbols they see, because the only one that does not appear is the one the team in the throne room will need to focus on.
Going back to the team in the throne room, they’ll see that Psions will be placed on each symbol, and the one that doesn’t get called out will be the Psion you need to kill. If you get the wrong Psion, it will lead to a wipe. But killing a Psion spawns a barrier and lets you get the DPS in.
After that, there’ll be shielded Psions in the Shadow Realm too, and the team there will have to deal with them quickly enough because they will throw purple grenades that can knock you off the arena.
The easiest way is to spread out and have the player on the left shoot the ones that spawn on the right side, the player on the right shoot those that spawn on the left, and the player in the middle just takes care of whoever’s left. This will last about 4 waves.
After 4 waves in the Shadow Realm, Calus will start spitting skulls out of his mouth. Group up in the middle and use something with Arc to deal AoE damage. I would use Thunderlord or Riskrunner for that. The more skulls you shoot down, the higher your team's DPS will be when it comes time to deal damage to Calus himself. This happens because every skull gives you the Force of Will buff.
Throne Room Team
Back in the Throne room, at a certain point, Calus will put on a shield and start attacking players directly, eventually causing a wipe. That’s when you need to break his shield. But as soon as it breaks, this will cause all players in the Shadow Realm to be brought back into the Throne Room. The idea here is to let Shadow Realm players get as many skulls as possible and only then bring them back by breaking the shield. Have them stack at least x70 Force of Will buff before summoning them.
DPS Phase with a Buff
To start the DPS phase, stand on the Sun platform on the right side. Make sure everyone gets on this symbol platform. Dealing damage to Calus depletes the platform, and once it's consumed, move left to the other platform. Calus will not just stand and take shots to the face. He will attack you, so sometimes you will need to jump off the platform to avoid damage; that’s okay as long as you get back on it as soon as you can.
If you deal enough damage in this phase to make Calus enter the final stand, just deal the final portion of damage to finish him. If not, some players will return to the Shadow realm and repeat the process of stacking the buff and then going back by breaking the shield to deal more damage.
You don’t have to start with the rightmost platform and rotate left every time. The platform order doesn’t actually matter. But if you just move from one platform to another in the same order, that’s all you need. You just don’t want to jump to a random one and then forget which one is inactive mid-fight.
