Best Road Racing Car in Forza Horizon 6

What kind of car is best for road racing? Well, you need this car to be fast, have good brakes and grip, and also be compatible with S2-class upgrades. One of the best cars that has it all is the Ferrari FXX-K Evo. But why this Ferrari out of 550+ cars in the game? It’s actually easy to control even at top speeds. Most supercars go fast in a straight line, but are impossible to turn and hard to decelerate. Not this one. I would go as far as to say that it's actually comparably nimble to the rest of the supercars.
It’s an R-class car, which is a new class in the series dedicated to track-focused vehicles. One warning: this car will still struggle in Tokyo's tight, bumpy city streets. Save it for the longer highway and circuit events — for street-heavy sessions, drop to S2. Other cars in this class include:
- 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP (Italian Passion Car Pack DLC)
- 2018 Lotus Scura Motorsport Exige WTAC
- 2021 Pagani Huayra R
…and others. As for this 2018 Ferrari FXX-K Evo, you can get it in two ways. The original is part of the base roster. But you can also get it with the “Welcome Pack” car pack, which is available as part of the said Welcome Pack for those who own the Deluxe or Premium Edition of the game.
Fastest Car in Forza Horizon 6

What is the fastest car in this Forza Horizon installment? It’s the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition with 3000 horsepower! It’s perfect for every activity that requires pure speed. I’m talking about things like:
- Drag races
- Speed cameras
- Speed traps
- Trailblazers
- Seasonal PR stunts
That’s not all of them, but the point I’m making here is this car will come in handy outside of just joyriding.
This R35 can reach over 300 mph with tuning, making it one of the fastest cars ever added to the Forza Horizon series. And if you put rear drag tires and skinny front tires, install a parachute, wheelie bars, this car will turn into an absolute rocket. Here are some stats I’ve seen people achieve:
|
Top speed |
Around 304 to 306 mph with tuning |
|
Quarter-mile time |
Around 6.3 to 6.5 seconds |
|
Half-mile time |
Around 9.8 to 10.0 seconds |
Now, the one downside, I would say, is how you actually get the car. You see, this R35 can only be obtained from Wheel Spins at the time of recording, so you need luck to unlock it. You just do as many Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins as possible, then hope it drops. FH6 also made Super Wheelspins rarer but more rewarding, so they may be valuable for chasing rare cars like this.
Best Street Racing Car in Forza Horizon 6

Street racing calls for cars that are both fast and controllable. That’s why I would say the best car for that is the Nissan GT-R Nismo because it has that AWD traction.
The 2024 version of Nissan GT-R Nismo comes with the 3.8L twin-turbo V6 with 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque, while using revised aero, carbon parts, a larger rear wing, and extra downforce. So, unlike the Black Edition R35 that’s made for going fast in a straight line, Nismo is built for street racing.
The good news is, this car is part of the base-game car collection, not a part of any DLC. It also belongs to an S1-class of cars along with the 2022 Acura NSX Type S, 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, 2015 Audi S1, and others.

Best Drift Car in Forza Horizon 6

What car could you possibly pick as the best drifting car for a game set in Japan? I think the answer is obvious - Toyota Trueno AE86. How can you not call out the absolute icon of drifting? However, I’m going to go on a limb and call another legendary car the best car for drifting. I’m talking about the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex. Sike! I lied!
You see, some stock Drift cars don’t actually feel as good at what they’re made for initially. So, even if you’re picking something drift-ready out of the box, you still need to tune the car to make it just right. The Sprinter Trueno is a drift-tuned stock car, but it doesn’t actually feel that good unless you make it good. So, how do you do this? Here’s my “build.”
|
Area |
Upgrades |
|
Engine |
Ignition, Valves, Displacement for extra HP |
|
Platform & Handling |
Race Brakes, Springs |
|
Drivetrain |
Transmission, Differential, Driveline for less weight |
|
Tires & Rims |
Stock tires |
These upgrades are going to cost you a pretty penny, over 100k+ CR, and get you as high as the S2 class. With this, your Sprinter Trueno will be the king of drifting.
Best Time Attack Cars in Forza Horizon 6

You need fast cars for the time attack. While, I’ve already named the fastest car in the game, you can’t always use a drag-tuned car for this. So, here are some more fast cars that I found:
|

1 |
Dream Project Nissan S15 |

7 |
J&J Motorsports Toyota Supra |

53.0s |
The fastest car in the test was the Dream Project Nissan S15. It set a 45.4-second lap on the Hokovu Time Attack circuit and clearly had the best mix of power, grip, downforce, and low weight.
The biggest surprise was the 101 Motorsports Honda CRX “Mighty Mouse.” It had the lowest power figure in the whole test, but still beat several stronger cars because it was extremely light and easy to keep under control.
The Toyota Supra was the slowest in this specific test. It had decent power, but its weight, rear-wheel-drive layout, and lower downforce made it harder to launch out of tight corners without sliding.
