Forza Horizon 6 Fastest Cars

In Forza, having the fastest car doesn’t automatically win you races. The best cars possess a combination of good car handling, braking, acceleration, fine-tuning, and, obviously, your skill. However, you’ll regularly find the fastest cars to be the most competitive ones in multiplayer or even single-player. In this section, I’ll list all the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 6. I found the three fastest cars for each car class, starting with R and ending with D. The cars listed here are purely stock. I’m not taking into account their tuning potential and whatnot. You’ll find a table for normal racing, as well as for off-road. If you don’t want to waste time, here’s a quick list for the fastest car in each car class in Forza Horizon 6:

Without listing the stats, these are the fastest stock cars from all available models in their classes. If you want cars that’ll help you complete the Forzathon challenges, these are your choice. Now, let’s go over each car class and look at its top contenders.

Fastest R Cars Forza Horizon 6

R class is the current stock king. If you’ve played previous entries, you might’ve noticed that R class is the new S2 in terms of its Performance Index, cause previously S2 went up til PI 998. This doesn’t mean that the S2 class became any slower. It’s just that R class cars are pre-tuned for specific purposes, mostly for track racing, which makes them better. They’re the apex predators, and these are the three fastest R class cars in Forza Horizon 6:

Let’s talk about each car briefly. While there are better cars, the Aston Martin Valhalla is the fastest car in Forza Horizon 6. It has 1042 bhp in stock, which is the highest among all hypercars in the game, making it the fastest one. Toyota Tacoma FE is the time attack version of the normal TRD Pro. Though it’s pre-tuned for this mode, you can safely use it for off-road, especially when you have to gain speed somewhere outside the track to go past the speed trap at far beyond 300 mph. Finally, the Ford Supervan 4 is definitely not the car I expected to add to this list, but its crazy speed speaks for itself. It has 1878 bhp, which on paper should make it much faster than Valhalla, but it’s also really heavy, weighing around ~4500 lbs. Still, it’s a great choice if you can achieve Supervan 3 car mastery.

Fastest S2 Cars Forza Horizon 6

If you thought that the S2 class had been trimmed down and is what S1 once was, then no. It’s still filled with hypercars and trackstars to the brim. You can easily turn them into an R class with a few replacements, and they might even beat them when tuned, but as you remember, we’re talking stock. Here are the fastest S2 cars in Forza Horizon 6:

One of my favorite cars ever, the Nissan GT-R. This Forza Edition car is made for drag racing, which can be seen from its drag chute installed in the back of it. It reaches insane speeds, but it has poor controls, so turning left or right is a death sentence. If you need a drag monster, you probably won’t find anything better. Koenigsegg Gemera 2024 is a close second, falling behind just a little bit, but it wins in handling, so if you want a car that you can actually use for racing, this is even better than the R35. Lastly, we have a truly legendary German masterpiece, the Porsche 918 Spyder 14. This old dog is still fighting 12 years later, and though it falls behind in max speed, its acceleration and launch are still among the strongest suits. Combined with very comfortable steering, you get one of the best beginner fast cars in FH6.

Fastest S1 Cars Forza Horizon 6

S1 is traditionally one of the most populated car classes in the Forza Horizon series. It’s also one of the most popular classes, according to my observations. No wonder, as you can easily tune it up and make it as potent as cars of the higher classes. Lots of meta cars come from this list, but here, we’re talking purely about S1, and in terms of pure speed, this class starts lacking. Unless you’re limited in class by challenge, it’s better to pick something from S2 and R. Nonetheless, if you wanna just drive stock cars, you won’t find anything faster in the S1 category than these cars. The fastest S1 cars in FH6 are:

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2023 is one of the hottest car designs ever packed into a fast sports car. A combination of its stats makes it one of the fastest S1 cars in Forza Horizon 6, and while it’s not the easiest car to drive, it’s easily obtainable and tuned to a true masterpiece. Another classic in this list is the BMW M5 2022. Crazy acceleration and launch combined with comfy steering create one of the nicer cars for racing, but not so much for breaking the speed traps. Finally, we have the Lamborghini Aventador. What once was one of the fastest cars on the planet is now only an S1 car. The power creep is real. It has very good acceleration and launch, but the top speed is lacking. However, it has the best handling out of all three cars, so driving it is a dream. Tinker with the engine a bit, and you can get the fastest S1 car.

Fastest A Class Cars Forza Horizon 6

Starting from here, none of the cars are fit for beating speed traps and sections. Even tuned up, they’re unlikely to hit the highs of the cars of higher classes. They are, however, still great for races and time attacks. Below are the fastest A class cars for Forza Horizon 6:

Okay, so the Ford Super Duty FE is a fun car, but I genuinely didn’t expect it to be so fast. Good luck driving it, though. Don’t even think about turning the wheel. The BMW M8, on the other hand, has some insane stats and is closer to an S1 car. If you want a fast car that you can actually drive, this is the best one in the A class. Finally, Mercedes-AMG E 63 S, a super saloon. One of my all-time favorite civilian cars, though in FH6 it drives as a tank. Steering is heavy, which makes it fit into the category of some of the best drift cars. Don’t expect it to be very meta, though. As a stock car, it’s fine for street racing.

 

 

Fastest B Class Cars Forza Horizon 6

From this point on, I’ll be describing cars very briefly, as you won’t likely to pick these cars to set new speed records. You only ever need to pick B class cars for the races where you’re limited to this class. The fastest B class cars are:

G wagon is an amazing off-road car, thanks to its weight distribution, and I expect it to be a meta off-roader just like it was in FH5. The same goes for Can-Am Maverick X RS Turbo R, which is almost legendary at this point. Audi RS 6 2009 takes third place purely by its stats, but frankly, it’s not that good.

Fastest C Class Cars Forza Horizon 6

You won’t be driving C and D class cars often, as even the game itself understands it’s not very exciting. It’s not Gran Turismo, and although in FH6, you won’t be getting hypercars in minutes after starting the game, it won’t be long til you switch to them. Below is the table with fast C class cars in FH6:

Notice something common? The three top entries are all off-roaders. The rest in this category are usually some vintage cars. All three cars are great for off-road racing, especially the G 63 AMG 6x6, which was a meta car in both FH4 and FH5.

Fastest D Class Cars Forza Horizon 6

I love driving D class, but more as an experience than in the actual race. Writing “fastest” and putting “D class” next to it is kinda funny. But yeah, the fastest D class cars in Forza Horizon 6 are:

Once again, this category is majorly populated with off-road vehicles and vintage cars. They drive like tanks, they’re hard to turn, and god forbid if you hit something during the race, as you might as well stop dead in your tracks and wait til the race is over.

 

 

Fastest Offroad Cars in Forza Horizon 6

Off-road is different from road races, and the high speed here isn’t always what makes the car strong. You need to pay attention to the combination of the car’s braking, handling, and off-road stats. Ranking these vehicles was a bit harder than ranking pure speed, but I think the table here is pretty accurate. The fastest offroad cars in Forza Horizon 6 are:

And the winner is Ford Super Duty F-450 FE. It’s insanely fast for its weight, it’s one of the best cars for drag racing in its category, but it’s not worth using in Time Attacks or basically anything that requires steering. Don’t use the stock R and S2 cars in off-road races. I added them here just to stick to the article’s goal of taking the fastest car from each class. You certainly can drive them when tuned properly, so just wait until good community tunings become available or learn how to tune yourself. In my personal opinion, though, Tacoma is the best for offroad, despite having a score of 6.0 in this category. With minor tuning, it becomes a true speed monster.
