WARDOGS Best Loadouts Quick Overview:
- Remember, you can buy the loadout from the last time by pressing one button when at the trader.
- Try to save as much as possible - If you’re a sniper, you probably don’t need a helmet or a vest.
- Weapon attachments that aren’t scopes do make a difference for a loadout
- Include tactical equipment like a rangefinder or a defib for quick cash.
- If you’re losing too much money, stick to the cheapest loadout and loot enemies.

At level 0, you don’t have much choice besides what’s included in this loadout. The Zero-to-Hero loadout is built around spending almost nothing while retaining enough equipment to fight. The KH-2002, starter backpack, and Resuscitator are free. Your only expenses are $80 for two spare magazines and $100 for the Parachute, bringing the entire loadout to just $180 per life.
The goal is to enter the match light, reach objectives quickly, and replace your starter equipment with weapons, armor, and supplies taken from killed enemies. At only 3.8 kg, you’ll be able to move pretty fast and use tactical sprint.

Since all items are available right away, there are no unlock requirements, making this an ideal starting loadout for new players. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is the weapon that has only two fire modes: semi-auto and burst fire. This can make it difficult to get kills with.

Medic Level 11 for full loadout |
It's kind of detrimental to be a dedicated medic because without good weapons you’re likely to fall behind friendly players who are trying to push something. Once you’ve leveled up a bit and unlocked access to the defib (arguably the best item for a medic so far), you can start making real money. Cash is king in this game, which is explicitly stated on the publisher's page for the game.
The AK74 provides a dependable general-purpose primary, while three spare magazines give enough ammunition for longer engagements without filling the Field Backpack with excessive loose ammo.
Most of the remaining space is dedicated to healing. Five Bandages and four Individual First Aid Kits provide plenty of recovery for both the player and teammates, while the Defibrillator allows instant revives once it becomes available. Basic armor keeps the overall investment lower than a heavily protected combat Medic build. Also, don’t forget the batteries for the defib
The complete loadout requires Medic Level 11 because of the Defibrillator. The Individual First Aid Kit unlocks earlier at Medic Level 9, so players between Levels 9 and 10 can run a cheaper version without the Defibrillator. The full loadout costs approximately $9,330, based on the shown AK74 configuration and current item prices. I’d also recommend fitting in a few smoke grenades in your backpack so you can try saving teammates who died in the open.

Assault 10 / Support 5 / Medic 9 |
This one is a pure action movie loadout. You have a deadly gun with a higher rate of fire than the AK, 35-round mags, and, to top it all off, an RPG. RPG is great against armored vehicles, which you might not see a lot of at the start of the game, but unlike games like Battlefield, RPGs don’t deal reduced damage to enemy combatants. In other words, you can use it as a highly volatile sniper rifle.
While we're on the topic, check out this Vehicles Guide to learn which ones would be the perfect target for your RPG.
An 80-round stack of 5.56 costs $120, since every 10 rounds costs $15. Combined with two loaded 35-round magazines in the backpack and one in the Galil, this setup carries a substantial ammunition reserve for prolonged infantry fights.
The build also carries two M67 Frag Grenades for clearing positions and two Individual First Aid Kits for full heals. Its main downside is progression: the core weapon combination requires Assault Level 10 for the Galil and Support Level 5 for the RPG-7. The version with Individual First Aid Kits additionally requires Medic Level 9.
For the remaining loadouts, since you'll be building them yourself in the current game version, I'll treat your screenshots/vendor data as the authority and calculate the exact total rather than relying on Reddit estimates.

This is everything you need to start leveling up a recon track and being the true sniper. The weapon might be a breach-loading rifle, but it has a great scope and ammo powerful enough to get that sweet headshot kill.
The Monocular fills the Spec. Item slot and lets you spot both enemy infantry and vehicles while providing variable magnification. This makes the loadout useful even when there is no clean shot, since spotting targets also contributes to Recon progression.
A GGX17 provides a cheap backup weapon for close-range encounters. The backpack carries a spare pistol magazine, 80 additional rifle rounds, five Bandages, and the free Resuscitator. Basic armor and a Tac-Vest provide some protection while keeping the full build at only 10.6 kg in the Light weight category. You don’t really need the helmet or additional mags for your pistol. If you do your job well, you’ll make much more money without ever switching to your pistol.
This is a popular loadout as evident from the comments in this Reddit thread.
At $4,845, this works well as an entry-level sniper build before more specialized Recon weapons and equipment become available. It keeps the investment relatively low while covering the core sniper roles: long-range shooting, spotting, self-sustain, and a close-range fallback.

F.A.Q.
What is the best loadout in WARDOGS?
That depends on what you want to do. You can make a loadout for different game plans, and you can always combine weapons and gadgets that will help you multitask and earn XP towards several different roles.
Can I save a loadout in WARDOGS?
There’s a loadout window that’s WIP in the game, but during matches you can buy the previous loadout you had last life with one click. It’s in the gear vendor menu, bottom-left corner.
How do I unlock more weapons in WARDOGS?
Most weapons in the game are unlocked by reaching a certain level in one of 6 roles. Once you reach the required level, you then have to pay to unlock the weapon and then buy it at the vendor to add it to your loadout.
Do loadouts carry between matches in WARDOGS?
Not at the moment. But the full loadout system is in the works, and it might be added later.
What loadout should I get if I have no money in WARDOGS?
If you’re really low on cash in the game, you can always go with the starter weapon, which is free, the backpack, and a few other items that are also free. The only things you’ll have to pay for are bandages and ammo, but it will be very cheap.
