Forza Horizon 6 All Treasure Cars

Treasure Cars are a new car-hunting activity added to Forza Horizon 6. If you’ve played the previous two Forza Horizon titles, you might remember them having treasure hunts. Treasure Cars are kinda like that, but with arguably better rewards. This time around, you don’t have to solve the riddles as you did in Fortune Island DLC for FH4. It’s actually closer to Captured Memories from The Legend of Zelda: BotW. Here’s how to unlock Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6:

1. Explore Regions: The only prerequisite is exploring a region enough.
2. Wait for Prompt: Eventually, you’ll get a notification that you got a clue for a Treasure Car location.
3. Navigate to the Cars Tab: You can find it under the Treasure Cars tile.
4. Check the Image: Each car has a photo of a place it’s hidden at.
5. Drive to the Spot: It’s easier to find the car when you just enter a new region, cause Mie will tell you the approximate location of it.

If you decide to do this on your own, it might take a while, as the map is huge and the cars are hidden pretty well, sometimes in locations that are very hard to find, like the Ford GT, for instance. All nine cars are some of the best in their class. I remember using M1 and Stratos for cross-country races, and the Ford GT 2005 was considered such a broken car in A and S1 classes that most drivers online would go out of their way to ruin the race for the person driving it. You can be sure that these cars are called Treasure for a reason. Now, where do you find each? Below you’ll find a map location and a description of each car’s stats.

Where to Find Nissan Figaro 1991

This oldie is waiting for you in the parking lot, north of the Daikoku Parking Area, overlooking the bridge you can see in its photo. Nissan Figaro is a FWD D 234, belonging to the Eclectic Domestics type. The stats are:

• Speed: 3.4
• Handling: 4.1
• Acceleration: 2.6
• Launch: 1.0
• Braking: 2.9
• Offroad: 6.0

This car is not exactly meta, which can be observed from the underwhelming stats. Perhaps tuning it can make it really good, but in its default state, this is the car that fits chill Tokyo exploration. Play some old-school Japanese city pop and larp as a sarariman during the worst market crash.

Where to Find Dodge Charger R/T 1969

This is another oldie, though more powerful than Figaro. It was once a performance version of a Dodge Charger. R/T here stands for Race and Track, so you can expect it to be quite decent in its class, though driving it requires skill. Dodge Charger R/T is an RWD C 417 of the Classic Muscle type, and here are its stats:

• Speed: 5.1
• Handling: 3.5
• Acceleration: 3.6
• Launch: 3.5
• Braking: 2.4
• Offroad: 5.3

This Dodge can be found behind one of the buildings near the golf course. Turn left when you see a golf cart and a gravel road when driving down the main road. It’s one of the best cars of its type and can easily win races where you have to drive Classic Muscle. Outside of that, Muscle cars in Forza are good for drag racing. If you have a strange draw towards Corona beer and family, you have this car to blame.

Where to Find Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE 1985

This classic car hasn’t aged a day in its looks. Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE has a very unique look from all RX series due to its sharp nose, but the signature eye-like headlights are still here. It’s yet another car that is good in its type and was one of the best cars for the A class when tuned. Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE is an RWD D 357 from Retro Sports Cars type, and the stats are:

• Speed: 4.8
• Handling: 4.4
• Acceleration: 3.4
• Launch: 3.7
• Braking: 2.8
• Offroad: 5.4

Can be found on top of the hill, near a radio tower. This version of Mazda looks more like a Corvette, yet the Japanese style is easy to notice without squinting your eyes. I don’t think this car is going to be meta, especially considering that the stats were trimmed. But we’re not driving cars only for racing, right?

Where to Find Porsche 959 1987

In my humble opinion, this is the best-looking Porsche it has ever been. It fills me with nostalgia for the times I’ve never lived through, and rally house starts playing in my head when I see it. It’s truly an achievement of German engineering, and it has some nice stats to back it up:

• Speed: 7.3
• Handling: 5.5
• Acceleration: 8.2
• Launch: 4.7
• Braking: 4.9
• Offroad: 5.2

Can be found in Narai-Juku, near the not-7-Eleven konbini store. Porsche 959 is an AWD A 661 class of Retro Super Cars type. Try it for cross-country racing, and you’ll fall in love with its perfect balance.

 

 

Where to Find BMW M1 1981

The least BMW-looking car made by this auto concern. No wonder, as it’s basically a Lambo made by Germans. Its poignant design fits its driving style. In FH5, it was a meta road racing car, and I actually think it’s gonna be the same in Forza Horizon 6:

• Speed: 5.9
• Handling: 4.5
• Acceleration: 4.4
• Launch: 3.1
• Braking: 3.2
• Offroad: 5.1

BMW M1 1981 is an RWD B 510 class of Retro Super Cars type. It can be found near one of the bridge’s support beams. Don’t let this car sit in your garage. Find a decent tuning or make one yourself and race.

Where to Find Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR 1995

This car is legendary for two things: one is its WRC domination, and two, for its JDM performance. Its 4G63 turbo engine is considered to be a milestone in engine crafting and allows huge upgrade potential. No wonder it ended up as one of the Treasure Cars. Here are its stats:

• Speed: 5.7
• Handling: 4.9
• Acceleration: 5.9
• Launch: 4.9
• Braking: 3.5
• Offroad: 5.9

You can find it in one of the most picturesque places in the game, behind the temple, next to the beautiful waterfall, waiting for you like an old teacher from the tales. Though this car is an AWD B 517 class from Retro Rally type, it can truly do it all.

Where to Find Lancia Stratos HF Stradale 1974

Yet another rally legend, the Lancia Stratos HF Stradale, looks more like a spaceship than a car. If you didn’t know, this model is the first ever car built for rally. Winning three consecutive WRC championships proves that it was built the right way. For a C class, it has really good stats in stock:

• Speed: 5.3
• Handling: 4.5
• Acceleration: 4.8
• Launch: 4.3
• Braking: 3.1
• Offroad: 6.0

Lancia can be found in the snowy mountains, sitting next to a two-story building. I wonder how such a rare car got there, but it’s a game, so let’s put logic aside. I implore you to try this RWD C 483 monster from the Classic Racers.

 

 

Where to Find Ford GT 2005

This is my all-time favorite car, hands down. The biggest problem is that driving it in races is considered to be a bad tone, but who cares? I drive it not for its bonkers stats, plus its meta dominance is overstated cause it’s a very heavy car for its class. The stats are also not that crazy:

• Speed: 7.7
• Handling: 6.1
• Acceleration: 4.7
• Launch: 3.3
• Braking: 5.2
• Offroad: 5.6

While this car is predominantly a race track monstrosity, it feels quite decent in cross-country racing thanks to its wide body. It’s an RWD A 676 class from Retro Super Cars that can be found in the Nangan region, on an unmarked dirt trail that leads to an observation deck.

Where to Find Nissan Safari Turbo 1985

Final Treasure Car that’s on the list is the unkillable Nissan Safari Turbo 1985. It’s earned its nickname as a million-mile truck for its insane durability and its heavy-duty engine. One of the most beloved cars in the community, it’s no wonder it ended up in the Treasure Car roster. Its stats are:

• Speed: 3.3
• Handling: 2.9
• Acceleration: 2.0
• Launch: 3.2
• Braking: 2.2
• Offroad: 8.3

This AWD D 123 from Pickups & 4x4’s can be found resting near the wind farm. It’s under one of the wind turbines on top of the hill.
