Surviving topside can be a daunting task when you’re up against the ARC and other raiders. But there’s something that can give you an edge, and if you persist on the chosen path, you’re going to get more proficient in your role. Today, we’re going to be listing ARC Raiders best builds, mainly focusing on the skill tree with its 3 distinct branches: Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival. While your loadout might determine your moment-to-moment playstyle, the skill tree gives you permanent, passive improvements that fine-tune how your character performs — faster vaults, stronger endurance, quieter movement, and better recovery when things go wrong.
If you just glance over some of the skills, even the first ones, you’ll wish you could just have them all, but you can’t. To make it easier to specialize in certain attributes of your raiding, we’ll give you a few build options so you can pick whichever you like and unlock the skills for it as you play.

Build #1: An All-Rounder

Let’s start listing the best builds in ARC Raiders with one of my favorites. This is the all-rounder setup built for players who want a smooth mix of movement, stamina control, and looting efficiency. It doesn’t specialize too hard in one direction, but instead enhances the core loop of running, looting, and surviving.
| Conditioning (7 Points) | Mobility (18 Points) | Survival (23 Points) |
| Used to the Weight (1/5) | Nimble Climber (1/5) | Agile Croucher (3/5) |
| Gentle Pressure (1/5) | Slip and Slide (3/5) | Revitalizing Squat (5/5) |
| Proficient Pryer (5/5) | Marathon Runner (5/5) | Looter’s Instincts (1/5) |
| Youthful Lungs (5/5) | In-Round Crafting (1/1) | |
| Sturdy Ankles (1/5) | Silent Scavenger (5/5) | |
| Carry the Momentum (1/1) | Suffer in Silence (1/1) | |
| Calming Stroll (1/1) | Good As New (1/1) | |
| Traveling Tinkerer (1/1) | ||
| Broad Shoulders (5/5) |
This setup invests in In-Round Crafting I & II for field crafting access and additional recipes, plus Loot Speed and Noise Reduction for safer scavenging. This is why it has the potential to be listed as one of the ARC Raiders' meta builds in the future.
On the Mobility side, you gain reduced stamina costs while moving, increased max stamina, and faster recovery while walking, all helping you keep a steady pace across large zones.
Conditioning gets a few early picks to improve breaching speed and general endurance, letting you open containers and locked areas faster. Altogether, it’s a build that feels comfortable in every situation — quick on its feet, efficient when looting, and adaptable to any raid type.
If In-Round Crafting or expanded loot capacity doesn’t appeal to you, those points can be shifted from Survival into Conditioning to gain more stamina recovery and shield flexibility. But for most players, this balanced setup captures what ARC Raiders is about: covering ground fast and coming back heavy with loot.
Build #2: Movement & Combat Build

Moving on with the ARC Raiders best builds guide, we have another balanced build. This one focuses on stamina management and quick reactions, built for players who have their movement limited by low stamina reserve. So if you find yourself out of stamina when the fight breaks out, you might want to go with this build. I know I will. BLOG20
The goal here is to maximize stamina efficiency, dodge cost reduction, and survivability during constant engagement.
| Conditioning (16 Points) | Mobility (27 Points) | Survival (5 Points) |
| Used to the Weight (5/5) | Nimble Climber (1/5) | Agile Croucher (1/5) |
| Blast-Born (1/5) | Slip and Slide (4/5) | Revitalizing Squat (5/5) |
| Gentle Pressure (1/5) | Marathon Runner (5/5) | In-Round Crafting (1/1) |
| Proficient Pryer (3/5) | Sturdy Ankles (1/5) | |
| Fight or Flight (5/5) | Youthful Lungs (5/5) | |
| Survivor’s Stamina (1/1) | Carry the Momentum (1/1) | |
| Downed But Determined (1/5) | Calming Stroll (1/1) | |
| Calming Stroll (1/1) | ||
| Crawl Before You Walk (3/5) |
Being able to sprint for 3 seconds and then catch your breath for the next 15 sucks. This is why I consider this to be one of the top ARC Raiders builds.
Reduced stamina drain from movement, improved slide and dodge efficiency, and faster crawling when downed all make you harder to pin down. Conditioning adds survivability through perks that restore stamina on damage and slow your downed bleedout timer, giving you more opportunities to recover in combat.
If in-round crafting proves less useful, you can shift those points into Conditioning to further boost stamina recovery or breaching speed. Overall, this build rewards aggressive and reactive players who want to stay in motion and control the tempo of every fight.
Build #3: Resource Run Build

If you like stuffing your backpack with trash (useful loot), then you’ll need this best build for looting in ARC Raiders.
This build is for doing those looting runs if you prefer faster things like faster breaching, faster loot seARChing, etc. It sacrifices direct combat power for the ability to collect, carry, and process more materials during raids. The build is ideal for players who prefer to scavenge every container and bring home the maximum haul each run.
| Conditioning (7 Points) | Mobility (4 Points) | Survival (37 Points) |
| Used to the Weight (1/5) | Nimble Climber (1/5) | Agile Croucher (5/5) |
| Gentle Pressure (1/5) | Marathon Runner (1/5) | Revitalizing Squat (5/5) |
| Proficient Pryer (5/5) | Youthful Lungs (2/5) | Looter’s Instincts (5/5) |
| In-Round Crafting (1/1) | ||
| Silent Scavenger (5/5) | ||
| Suffer in Silence (1/1) | ||
| Good As New (1/1) | ||
| Traveling Tinkerer (1/1) | ||
| Broad Shoulders (5/5) | ||
| Stubborn Mule (5/5) | ||
| Looter’s Luck (1/1) | ||
| One Raider’s Scraps (1/5) | ||
| Security Breach (1/1) |
Security Breach lets you open special lockers hidden across points of interest, while Looter’s Luck and Looter’s Instincts speed up container reveals and sometimes double the loot you uncover. Broad Shoulders and Stubborn Mule give extra inventory space and reduce stamina penalties from being over-encumbered, letting you carry far more without slowing to a crawl. In-Round Crafting and Traveling Tinkerer expand what you can make during a run, helping you turn scrap into valuable supplies on the fly. BLOG20
Because so much focus goes into Survival, the build gives up some stamina recovery and defense. To balance this, it takes a few Conditioning perks like Proficient Pryer for faster breaching and small Mobility investments that improve stamina and climbing efficiency. If Security Breach ends up feeling underwhelming, those points can easily be moved back into Mobility for stronger stamina regeneration.
Build #4: Tanky Breacher

If you’re looking for the best tank build in ARC Raiders, this is it. This setup is designed for players who want to endure punishment and stay in the fight even under heavy pressure. It focuses on defense, self-recovery, and being tanky overall. The build trades off loot efficiency and stamina regeneration, but you do still get faster breaching and even extra loot when you open the locked containers.
| Conditioning (37 Points) | Mobility (11 Points) | Survival (0 Points) |
| Used to the Weight (5/5) | Nimble Climber (1/5) | |
| Blast-Born (1/5) | Marathon Runner (5/5) | |
| Gentle Pressure (5/5) | Youthful Lungs (5/5) | |
| Proficient Pryer (5/5) | ||
| Fight or Flight (5/5) | ||
| Survivor’s Stamina (1/1) | ||
| Unburdened Roll (1/1) | ||
| Downed But Determined (2/5) | ||
| A Little Extra (5/5) | ||
| Turtle Crawl (1/1) | ||
| Loaded Arms (5/5) | ||
| Back On Your Feet (1/1) |
This configuration revolves around survival and recovery loops. The Conditioning tree dominates, boosting health regeneration at critical HP, granting stamina bursts after taking damage, and extending your downed duration. Key perks like A Little Extra and Proficient Pryer generate resources during breaches, rewarding aggressive play while keeping supplies flowing. Loaded Arms and Used to the Weight skill reduces encumbrance, allowing you to stay mobile despite heavy gear.
Mobility serves as a support branch, giving essential stamina efficiency through Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs so you can reposition or escape between fights. With its improved breach animations and reduced noise, this build turns breaching itself into a valuable resource generator.
I doubt it will be counted among the ARC Raiders builds meta, but this build will definitely ensure faster progression, allowing you to complete the quests and upgrade your workbenches quicker than any other build listed here.
Build #5: The Free Runner

This is the best movement build in ARC Raiders that focuses on pure agility and freedom of traversal, because there are a lot of obstacles on maps that need to be vaulted. There are also lots of places that can only be reached through unconventional movement. If you’re too heavy or lose too much stamina, you might not make it. This build will ensure you can get to anything and still be able to sprint after you’re done climbing.
| Conditioning (5 Points) | Mobility (42 Points) | Survival (5 Points) |
| Used to the Weight (5/5) | Nimble Climber (1/5) | Agile Croucher (5/5) |
| Slip and Slide (5/5) | ||
| Marathon Runner (5/5) | ||
| Sturdy Ankles (1/5) | ||
| Youthful Lungs (5/5) | ||
| Carry the Momentum (1/1) | ||
| Calming Stroll (1/1) | ||
| Effortless Roll (5/5) | ||
| Crawl Before You Walk (1/5) | ||
| Off the Wall (5/5) | ||
| Vigorous Vaulter (1/1) | ||
| Heroic Leap (1/5) | ||
| Vaults on Vaults on Vaults (1/1) | ||
| Vault Spring (1/1) |
This setup maximizes every movement-related perk available, giving you unparalleled speed and stamina flow. With Slip and Slide, Effortless Roll, and Carry the Momentum, stamina costs drop sharply, allowing for near-endless dodges and sprints. Off the Wall and Vault Spring enhance vertical control, while Vaults on Vaults on Vaults removes stamina costs entirely from vaulting actions. Agile Croucher ties it all together by maintaining stealth and mobility while low to the ground.
The small Conditioning investment offsets encumbrance penalties, ensuring that armor and weapons don’t slow you down. The Free Runner is especially strong on dense or vertical maps where quick traversal between rooftops, ledges, and cover points gives you a strategic edge. It also excels in timed events like harvesters or raid rushes, where getting to objectives before others can make all the difference.
Optional adjustments include moving a few points from Effortless Roll or Off the Wall into additional stamina regeneration perks if you prefer longer sprints over agility bursts.
Conclusion
Here we’ve given you 5 builds, 3 of which prioritize one of the branches of the skill tree and two more balanced builds that utilize the must-have skills from multiple branches for the most comfortable playstyle. Whichever you go for is up to you. With time, there may be a certain meta that might form, but for now, it’s more about preference rather than anything else.
Take a look at the biggest skills across all of the Skill Tree and decide which ones you like most, then follow the build that has them. And most importantly, don’t forget to have fun!
