This guide was created to help you gain more victories in REDSEC. A big part of actually winning in Battle Royale is having all the odds be for you. We’re not talking about a series of accidents that help you. We’re talking about doing every little thing you can to improve your win chance by even a percent. Typically, this includes practicing at the shooting range or tweaking controls to suit your preferences. These are all important, but nothing increases your odds of winning like a good weapon in your hands. Today, we are going to discuss top loadouts for Battlefield REDSEC.

BF REDSEC Best Loadouts

Our list of Battlefield REDSEC loadouts will primarily feature mid to close-range guns. The reason is that this Battle Royale favors close combat. The sniper rifles in it need two shots to the head to kill the target. You can run them as a secondary weapon, as they make a good opener. You will also notice that the majority of guns use the same attachments. This is because we usually prioritize attachments that don’t take away the stats. They give you the best results. Don’t be afraid to experiment with attachments to further tailor the weapons to your needs. All the guns listed here are current meta. With all that said, let’s discuss the guns, what makes them great, and check out their attachment list. These are the best BF REDSEC loadouts.

KORD 6P67 Best Loadout - AR

The KORD 6P67 is a great gun that has a very high 900 RPM rate of fire. It performs best when you are close to the target. With the attachments that we list here, it can work well in mid-range, but under certain conditions.

• Muzzle: Stnd Suppressor / Compensated Brake
• Barrel: 415MM
• Underbarrel: Ribbed Stubby
• Mag: 40 RND
• Optics: Baker 3.00X

The big thing to know is that this gun heavily relies on your trigger discipline at middle distances. Spraying will significantly increase recoil and bloom, making most of your shots go nowhere. If used properly, either by bursting or by tapping your enemies, it can easily outperform other guns. Its high bullet velocity will make it a piece of cake to hit targets at long range.

USG-90 Best Loadout - SMG

This gun excels in closed spaces. This gun overwhelms your opponents, thanks to its 900 RPM and 50-bullet mag, turning any target into Swiss cheese. Bear in mind that it has a low per-bullet damage, so make sure you hit all of your shots.

• Barrel: 264MM Prototype
• Left accessory: 5 MW Green
• Ergonomics: Mag Catch
• Optics: OSA-7 1.00X

Try using it more for hip-fire, as it does exceptionally well in it. Even when moving, your accuracy doesn’t fall that much. These attachments will further boost your close-quarter potential. Avoid open-field fights, though, as any AR or Carbine will beat you.

DRS-IAR Best Loadout - LMG

Though an LMG, it’s closer to an AR in its performance and other stats. If you’re running a Support class in REDSEC, it’s your best choice to combine good firepower and mobility. The weapon has great versatility, stopping power, and handles faster than other guns in its class. It also unlocks quite early, so you can start leveling it and get to better attachments faster. This is a current Battlefield REDSEC meta loadout for the support class.

• Muzzle: Compensated Brake / Double-Port Brake
• Barrel: 20" LE / 20" SDM-R
• Underbarrel: 6H64 Vertical
• Mag: 40 RND
• Scope: Baker 3.00X

While it’s closer to an AR, don’t be fooled. In tight spaces, you still get outperformed. To add to that, it kicks like a mule. With these attachments, the problem will be fixed for the most part. It feels best around mid-range, so use it there.

PW5A3 Best Loadout - SMG

One of the best guns in the entire game since the launch. It handles like a dream, does great at close and even mid-range combat. You can enhance its effectiveness with attachments, even allowing it to be used at longer distances. It’s very mobile and stable when strafing. It’s probably the easiest SMG to pick up and learn the class with. For such a gun, here’s the best loadout for CQC in Battlefield REDSEC.

• Muzzle: CQB Suppressor
• Barrel: 245MM Custom
• Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical / Ribbed Stubby
• Mag: 30 RND Fast
• Ergonomics: Mag Catch
• Right accessory: 50 MW Green
• Optics: Iron Sights

Though it’s better than its competitors in the middle distance, it’s still not as good compared to other guns. You can, technically, use it to fight back, but better to avoid firing at that distance. It’s better if you pair it with a secondary weapon. For instance, with the next gun on the list.

SOR-556 MK2 Best Loadout - AR

This gun has strong and noticeable recoil. Our primary goal with attachments for this gun will be to mitigate it. On the plus side, it has high damage and is one of the best guns for mid-range combat.

• Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical / Ribbed Stubby
• Mag: 40 RND
• Optics: Baker 3.00X / Mini Flex 1.00X

While the recoil is high, just tilt your stick or drag your mouse slightly to fight it. It’s pretty predictable and can be learned. While getting used to it, you might be outplayed by players with simpler guns. But trust us when we say - it’s better to learn it. It’s probably the strongest loadout for Battlefield REDSEC if you are able to control the recoil. BLOG20

SGX Best Loadout - SMG

This gun is unlocked by default and is one of the best in the game. Another strong contender for the best close-quarter combat gun. It’s best used for flanking, rushing, and surprising your opponents. If you pick this gun up, you should always be on the go. It has insane hip-fire control, especially combined with the Engineer’s mastery bonus.

• Muzzle: CQB Suppressor
• Barrel: 8" Extended
• Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical
• Mag: 36 RND
• Optics: Iron Sights
• Right accessory: 5 MW Red

Some obvious weaknesses include a very limited range for effective combat and mag size. It’s a gun that doesn’t like passive players. If you like a more stealthy, static approach, this gun is probably not for you.

RPKM Best Loadout - LMG

If you can find a good position to stay, this gun shreds. One of the best weapons in the game, as it packs huge damage, giving you a three-shot potential. It destroys the plates fast - even faster than you think. The recoil in the base weapon is kinda serious. Considering that you have to stay still when using it, it’s not that big of a problem. Here’s how we can make this gun better.

• Mag: 40 RND
• Ammo: Synthetic Tip
• Optics: RO-M 1.75X

What holds it back from being the best LMG is a limited mag size and some serious recoil. It also has a pretty serious range drop-off. That means that engaging at long and in close quarters is out of the question. It stalls your movement, hence why positioning with this gun is a number one priority. Despite all these downsides, this gun is amazing and in the meta. 

M2010 ESR Best Loadout - Sniper Rifle

While what we said earlier still stands true, this sniper rifle is good in REDSEC. It has high bullet velocity, which can reach 1125 m/s with the right barrel. This means that you can reliably hit targets at long distances without calculating time-to-impact. Still, it’s better to use it as a secondary weapon. You’ll either want to start with it or use it to finish off the enemy. Nevertheless, this is the best Battlefield REDSEC loadout for long distances.

• Barrel: 26" Carbon
• Left accessory: Range Finder
• Mag: 5 RND
• Ammo: Long-range
• Optics: S-VPS 6.00X
• Optic Accessory: Canted Reflex

You can notice that for the optics accessory, we used Canted Reflex instead of AG Coating. As we mentioned before, many fights in REDSEC occur at mid-range distances. This accessory will at least let you use this gun if you get ambushed. If you have another gun to help you, you can safely swap it to AG Coating.

AK-205 Best Loadout - Carbine

A very underrated weapon despite its serious potential. It has an extremely low recoil, and with the right attachments, you can turn it into a laser gun. This is done intentionally, as this gun has a high headshot multiplier. Your best bet is to use this when you expect more structured encounters, rather than CQC chaos.

You probably already guessed that since this gun has a higher headshot multiplier, per-bullet damage isn’t high. If you consider yourself to be a very accurate player, pick this gun. This just might become your favorite.

KTS100 MK8 Best Loadout - LMG

Now, if you are looking for a true laser gun weapon, this is it. The recoil here is non-existent, pretty much. This is especially funny, considering its class. While the RPM isn’t very high, with such an accurate weapon, you don’t need it. A 60-round mag, which, combined with a moderate RPM, lets you go without reloading for a long time.

• Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical
• Ammo: Polymer Case
• Optics: RO-M 1.75X

These attachments are aimed at addressing the biggest problem this LMG has: slow movement. Unlike with other guns, here we prioritized the attachments that make you more mobile.
