Farming XP was never that hard. It was always super slow. Of course, there are sometimes exploits in the game you can abuse to grind faster. They are very rare, though, and are fixed fast. This guide doesn’t rely on them. Instead, the hints we provide here will help you climb the levels reliably and efficiently. Here’s a list of tips that explain how to farm XP in Black Ops 7.

Use Scorestreaks

Another good way to level up fast in Black Ops 7 is scorestreaks. Best scorestreaks for farming XP are: 

• UAV: Activating this scorestreak summons the drone that pings enemies on the map. It doesn’t do it in real time because there’s a delay between pings. Oftentimes, it’s more than enough.
• Counter UAV: The bread-and-butter combo for XP farm is to launch UAV and then Counter UAV. You leave your opponents blind, while you track them down easily.
• Watchdog Helo: A cheap and easy-to-reach scorestreak. It summons a helicopter that circles around the map and kills opponents on itself. What’s not to like?

If you play really well, consider aiming for VTOL and HARP scorestreaks. VTOL lets you control a warship with turrets and rockets. HARP is like a UAV, but it updates the enemy position in real time. You just activate them and watch the XP go up. The best thing about them is that they’re all passive sources of experience. You don’t need to control them, just activate and continue playing. It’ll boost your account much faster, skyrocketing it to prestige. Pro Tip: Don’t focus on leveling just one gun. The higher its level, the slower the progress. Always try to branch out into different weapons. Only max out the gun once you permanently unlock it.

Do the Quests and Challenges

Another huge way to reach the speed of light in terms of leveling. Don’t ignore them, especially if they are event challenges. Those bring levels the fastest. If you feel like some challenges would take too long, skip them. No point in grinding difficult tasks like “Kill 1000 enemies with a knife” if you’re not good at it. Leave it for completionists. 1. Squad Link: The best way to use it is in a hot zone. The more players are around you, the better. It boosts players in various ways. Not only is it a good way to earn XP, it’s also a great field upgrade overall. It’s the fastest way to level up using field upgrades in BO7.
2. Assault Pack: Just drop it on the floor in some active area and watch your experience grow. People will use them even if they just respawned, as it gives extra ammo. You have to be strategic with its placement, though.
3. Echo Unit: It’s an upgrade from the BO6 version of the same field upgrade. It gives you experience each time an enemy shoots the hologram it produces. Not only that, but it can also capture and hold objectives, which means even more points! Unfortunately, it’s easy to spot and break, so the usage is limited.
4. Drone Pod: It constantly spawns drones that search for the enemy and damage them, while marking their position on the map. It’s very useful as it gives you bonus XP and helps you to finish off enemies faster.
5. Trophy System: It catches up to 3 grenades thrown your way. If you use an Overclocking feature on it, it can catch 5 grenades. If someone in your team has a Squad Link, then it’s a great tool to farm XP. If not, it’s not as great on its own.

Playing Deathmatch isn’t efficient enough. If you want to really farm XP, play modes that have objectives. It’s the fastest way to level up in Black Ops 7. Such modes include:

When you hold the objective, you get XP for basically doing nothing. To add to that, it speeds up your score streaks, which means even more XP. It’s a win-win situation, where you don’t really feel like you’re grinding. There’s a low chance, but the developers might add the Grind mode. In it, you collect dog tags and store them at special locations that grant you insane amounts of experience.

Use Your XP Tokens

The developers give them out pretty regularly just for visiting the store page. We advise playing the most populated game modes when using tokens.
