All Outfits in AC Black Flag Resynced

There are a ton of new outfits, weapons, and even naval cosmetics in this version of the game. If you want a checklist for all outfits in the game, you’re in the right place.

To make it easier to track all of those outfits, I would divide them into groups by unlock method:

• 23 outfits earned through normal gameplay
• Legacy outfits bought with Keys in the Animus Hub Exchange
• Project outfits unlocked with Data Fragments
• Premium outfits from Character Packs

Earnable In-Game Outfits

There are 23 outfits you can earn directly in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Some are given during the story, while others come from shops, treasure chests, contracts, side quests, and longer collectible chains. The table below lists every in-game outfit and exactly what you need to do to unlock it.

Legacy Outfits

Legacy outfits are unlocked through the Animus Hub Exchange rather than normal Black Flag Resynced progression. These are outfits from the previous Assassin’s Creed titles. The Exchange uses Keys, a special Animus Hub currency earned from Synchronization objectives and other activities. Once you have enough Keys, open the Vault, switch to the Exchange tab, and purchase the outfit you want.

Keys are also scattered across the Caribbean as collectibles; each grants 30 Keys. Each Project also offers around 3,500 to 4,000 Keys.

At the moment, Connor is the only confirmed actual legacy outfit available at launch. We’re still missing Ezio and Altair’s outfits from the original Black Flag. I suspect these will be added later on.

There are also two outfits from the Assassin’s Creed Shadows heroes, and although technically they are also legacy ones now, I put them into a different category based on how you unlock them.

Project Outfits

Project outfits use a completely different system. Instead of spending Keys in the Exchange, you activate a Project and collect Data Fragments by completing its Anomalies. The Data Fragments progress the active Project's reward track, eventually unlocking its exclusive cosmetics.  To access those projects:

1. Open the Vault and go to Projects.
2. Activate the Project you want to progress.
3. Find its available Anomalies on the world map.
4. Complete the Anomaly objective.
5. Earn Data Fragments and progress the reward track.

There are 3 outfits that can be earned this way:

If you have already progressed Riptides or Undertow in Assassin's Creed Shadows, your Data Fragments carry over. Anomalies reward 700 Data Fragments each, so you’ll have to do quite a few of those to get to the final reward, which is the outfit.

Character Pack Outfits

Character Pack outfits are premium cosmetics purchased through the Helix Store. Each pack includes an outfit alongside matching weapons, trinkets, and themed items for your ship, crew, and pet. The outfits themselves are still cosmetic, although some of the accompanying gear has unique gameplay perks.

Best Outfit in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

The best premium outfit pack at launch is the Sea Serpent Character Pack, although the outfit itself, Stormfury Shroud, is purely cosmetic. What makes the pack so strong is the gear that comes with it, as nearly every item gives Edward another way to recover health during combat.

The Serpent Fang Cutlass restores health after a perfect parry, the pack's trinket heals you after killing an enemy, and the Fury of the Deep pistols recover a large amount of health after a headshot. The cutlass effect can also stack with a separate in-game trinket that has the same healing perk, giving you even more sustain.

For looks alone, I would give the edge to Dragonscale Armor. The original showcase also picked it as the best-looking Helix Store outfit, while Naoe's Robes were another personal favorite overall.

So, my picks are:

• Best-looking earnable/project outfit: Naoe's Robes

Since all outfits are cosmetic, there is no single set that improves your stats by itself. The gameplay advantage comes from the weapons and trinkets included with certain packs, not from the outfit you wear.
