Best Horde Housing Plots

Let’s start listing off the best plots with Razorwind Shores. There is a total of 55 housing spots in the Horde’s neighborhood. The neighborhood itself is split into 6 different biomes. Visually, they represent forests, sandy tropical shorelines, and mountains. The Razorwind Shores biomes are:

Plot 20 - Home with a Cozy Balcony

If you enjoy a fall aesthetic, this is one of the best places to settle. It features a private balcony not far from the house you’ll have. It’s a central location that overlooks a large portion of the island. There’s a large area around you, providing space to develop your home. This place is one of the most popular housing plots in WoW, so expect competition at launch.

Plot 39 - Bridge House Hideout

The most remarkable thing about this plot is the big rope bridge leading to it. It’s on a large hill, remote from other plots. It’s very cozy, with a pathway leading to a sort of gazebo. If you enjoy a hermit lifestyle, this place is definitely for you.

• Removed from neighborhood hubs
• Takes a longer time to reach

Plot 46 - Triple Waterfall View

The view here is just outstanding and is the main selling point of this plot. Your house will overlook three waterfalls. The area is not the biggest, but it’s extremely picturesque.

A chill, tropical location for those who enjoy this kind of theme. You have a really nice waterfall in your backyard. There are some lizards, turtles, and other critters that dwell around this waterfall stream. It’s one of the largest WoW housing plots for developing your living place.

• Populated zone

Plot 24 - Pirate Cove

This place is really fun and well-decorated. It already feels like a house that has its own story. It’s your task to connect the dots. The plot itself is on a small peninsula, so don’t expect to build a whole mansion. There’s a sunken ship near your location and a spine of some big creature. This is a very vibrant plot, so be sure to occupy it soon!

• Very high demand
• Quite remote
• May feel cartoony
• Small area for building

If you don’t mind a little cheesiness of the place, it’s an absolute must to claim. Very fun looking location that even on its own creates a story.

Plot 40-42 - Tropical Island Trio

A small group of islands with three plots really close to each other. A perfect place for a friend group to settle. The area around you is filled with tropical trees and water. This creates a resort-like feeling. These three house areas are secluded from other players, which creates a sense of community even more. If you like the tropical hut vibe and want to settle close, this is a perfect place.

Pros:

• Each plot has its own private island
• Tropical setting
• Perfect location for friends
• No nearby houses

Cons:

• Travelling here takes longer
• Limited land size

A fun little location that will definitely feel like a resort with friends. Watch out, as other friend groups will want to occupy it too.

Best Alliance Housing Plots

Unlike Horde’s neighborhood, the Alliance’s neighborhood feels different. The feel of all the biomes is closer to that of a village. The name of the Alliance neighborhood is Founder’s Point. Here, we have a spooky forest, village area, and mountainous plots. Same as Razorwind Shores, there are 55 plots and 6 biomes. Let’s take a look at the Alliance’s biomes:

1. Brumewood Hollow: The most unique biome out of all. Gloomy and creepy, a bit reminiscent of night elf woods.
2. Gilded Oaks: Fall village vibe, there’s a beautiful view from most plots.
3. Mear’s Farm: Well, it’s in the name. If you like Stardew Valley, that’s the place.
4. Small Aerie: A green forest with a gryphon nest.
5. Stoneveil Ridge: A dream location for hermits. The plots here are pretty far apart and mostly situated in the mountains.
6. The Outer Banks: Cliff area with a view of the ocean. If you have a flair for the dramatic, this location is for you.

Plot 24 - Outer Banks

If you want a complete package, check this place out. You have your own mountain near you, and your house is right on the shoreline. The view is the main selling point here. Apart from that, you have a big area to populate.

A house right next to the crop field. This plot makes you feel like you yourself are the farmer that’s going to work on this field. The barn next to your house adds to this feeling. The plot is a bit more lowkey and is located in a busy area. There are a lot of other plots and some amenities nearby. If you want to feel like a part of the community, this place is for you. One of the WoW’s coziest housing plots.

Pros:

• Surrounded by fields and vineyards
• Perfect for farmer RP
• Busy area, feels lived in
• Tavern nearby

Cons:

• Busy area, for some it’s a deal breaker
• The visuals might feel plain

If you enjoy a simpler home that feels like a home for a person, not some grand knight, it’s a perfect plot to occupy. If you’re not among these people, the plot might seem a bit boring.

Plot 36 - Westfall Lookout

A house on the hill that looks almost identical to the Westfall area. If you want to feel nostalgic, choose this plot. It’s also really close to the lighthouse that’s to the left of your home. There’s an overview on the vast ocean in front of your house. A really lovely place, located a bit further away from everyone else. It’s among the most beautiful housing plots in World of Warcraft.

• Beautiful view
• Combines forest and sandshore areas in one place

Cons:

• Might feel lonely
• A bit of a tricky placement
• Not much space around

A really sweet plot. If it existed in real life, people would be paying crazy money for it. The location is an absolute beauty, but unfortunately, it’s not big enough. Outdoor decorating can become a bit difficult.

Plot 13 - Yellowfield Hut

A pretty plot with a very rustic feel. There are many animals around you. This area feels more like a summer forest, rather than a fall one. It doesn’t offer any unique visuals or standout parts. It’s just a lovely home with tons of animals walking around it. There’s a lot of vegetation around, and giant trees are standing mere metres away from your home.

• Ultimate rustic house
• Surrounded by wildlife
• Cozy location
• Lots of vegetation around

Cons:

• Visually bland
• No water nearby

It’s a bit bland, but if you’re looking for a druid-like home, this place is great. Just don’t expect it to blow your mind every time you look out. There’s a nice big tree nearby, so maybe that will do as a landmark?

Plot 20 - Cemetery House

This plot is located inside a spooky forest, right in the cemetery. If you enjoy creepy fairytales about witches, this plot will sit right with you. There is some sort of a necromancer’s kit near the house, with gravestones, a coffin, and some ritual site. Try this place if you want to get a gothic feel in your home. It’s one of the coolest housing plots in World of Warcraft available now.

Pros:

• Full goth feeling
• Right in the cemetery
• Everything works towards the horror vibe
• Crazy potential for a creepy house theme

Cons:

• Not every character fits the location
• It’s pretty dark around
• Right in the cemetery

Plot 0 & Plot 17 - Dark Groves

Both of these plots are very close to each other. They’re situated around a big tree, overgrown with giant mushrooms. It’s also located in spooky woods, but here it’s less tense than in plot 20. You have a little waterfall and a hideout right behind the plot 0. Plot 17 has a really lovely personal mushroom tree next to it. If you’re looking for a kind of dark druid house, this is for you.

• Extremely beautiful location
• Cool landmark nearby
• Unique atmosphere
• A waterfall with the cave
• Plot 17 has its very own mushroom tree

Cons:

• Can feel gloomy
• A dense forest can be an obstruction to outdoor decoration
• Expect high competition

A real standout spot, so expect players to occupy these two plots as soon as servers go live. If you’re among the lucky ones who’ll be able to get it, don’t overdecorate it. It works the best as this dark natural grove.
