How Our Dungeons Tier List Works

In Fellowship, the maps on which you play are called Adventures and Dungeons. For simplicity’s sake, we will refer to all of them as dungeons, as this is easier to understand. With the help of our pros, we have calculated the best dungeons to farm gear in Fellowship. A couple of criteria were used to evaluate the profitability of your runs:

  1. Loot amount: The most important criterion. The loot you get compared to the amount of time you have to spend on getting it.
  2. Difficulty: This is for how much skill farming the dungeon requires. The lower the skill gap, the better.
  3. Number of Bosses: Pretty obvious. Killing one boss is always faster than killing three of them.
  4. Encounters: The possibility of avoiding the fights as much as possible.

And here’s how we’re going to rank the dungeons:

  • S-Tier: Dungeons that fulfill every criterion and excel in it.
  • A-Tier: Dungeons that take some skill and more time, but are still relatively easy to clear.
  • B-Tier: The ones that meet some of our criteria but aren’t generally recommended for farming.
  • C-Tier: Avoid farming these, as they take a lot of time and effort.

You may not agree with the placement of the dungeon, and it’s alright. These are just statistically correct dungeons to farm. If you don’t enjoy any of them or find them unfun, don’t bother with them. After all, the game should always be about the fun you have. Now that you understand the thought process, let’s dive into the tier list itself.

Fellowship Best Dungeons Tier List

In this part of the guide, we will list the dungeons and provide a brief explanation of each one. Here’s a list of all dungeons ranked in Fellowship:

Let’s start with S-Tier. Arguably, the best three dungeons to farm. They’re short, don’t offer high challenge, and give you good loot. Farming these three dungeons will bring you the most benefit and save you time. These are also Fellowship’s fastest dungeons to grind.

S-Tier Dungeons

Empyrean Sands

The absolute favorite for grinders. Timing it takes just a little less than 10 minutes, usually. That, plus it’s very beginner-friendly. Traps and patrols are easy to avoid, making it a cakewalk. Doesn’t matter if you are a weathered veteran or just starting out, this dungeon is your best bet.

Silken Hollow

The biggest hurdle here is the boss fight: Vexira, Mother of Nightmares. And even then, it’s only if you are afraid of spiders. Most of your time will likely be spent on killing her. Other than that, this dungeon is just slightly more difficult than the previous one. The difference is so negligible, though, that you will not really feel it.

Sailor’s Abyss

The final out of the trinity of the best dungeons in the game. It’s fast, easy, and has great gear. This dungeon is one of the best places to farm jewelry. There are many DoT effects here, so grab the Ancient Wardstone relic and watch yourself breeze through. If you don’t have this relic yet, you can use our Relics Boost services to get it.

A-Tier Dungeons

Moving on to A-Tier. These dungeons are also decent to farm, but for different reasons, they are not as good as S-Tier ones. Let’s take a look at them.

Wyrmheart

This is the easiest dungeon in the game, serving as a tutorial to Cithrel’s Fall. The boss fight is forgiving, and the fights with mobs can easily be skipped. The best place to learn the game if you are a new player. Why isn’t it in S-Tier? It’s just a tad longer, and the gear is just good instead of great.

Heart of Tuzari

Great and fun dungeon with varied boss fights. Yes, boss fights, as in more than one. It’s a capstone dungeon, so that means you’ll have to fight three bosses to complete it. To time it, you’ll need to finish it in 28 minutes. This is very long, but the rewards are definitely worth it. It provides one of the best sets in the game, which cannot be obtained anywhere else. It also requires a well-cooperative team, or at least experienced randoms.

Stormwatch

This is where we get a bit more serious. This dungeon provides more challenge, as the boss, Warlord Brogg, deals a ton of damage. It’s probably the main reason it’s not an S-Tier dungeon. Another reason is that it takes longer to time. The time limit is 13 minutes.

Generally speaking, A-Tier dungeons are worth farming as there’s a negligible difference between timings. 

B-Tier Dungeons

Now let’s continue to the dungeons that split our list in half. They’re not bad for farming, but they're rarely worth it. Here’s an explanation of our B-Tier dungeons.

Cithrel’s Fall

This dungeon is the first real challenge you’ll face when progressing through the game. This is a capstone dungeon, so there are three bosses here. The challenges in this dungeon are constant and brutal, which makes it fun, but long and taxing. It will take you about 28 minutes to time it. Not to mention it’s kind of easy to fail the run here. One reason that it’s not lower than B-Tier is cause it has some nice loot, but farming it? Not worth it.

Wraithtide Vault

It’s a cool and story-driven dungeon that gives you probably the most cinematic experience out of all. Yet the problem here is the same as with Cithrel’s Fall. Timing it is like 30 minutes long, there are three bosses, one of which has two phases. They also have some unique mechanics that will require you to learn them. This is one of the most well-crafted dungeons, but it’s not great for farming.

Godfall Quarry

Another beautifully designed dungeon that’s just not worth your time for farming. You can skip most of the enemies here. The main challenge and unreliability of this dungeon lies in its boss, Godfall Titan. It deals insane damage if you don’t destroy its waystones fast, which means you’ll have to rely on your DPS a lot. If you’re playing in a group, it’s not a problem. If you’re playing with randoms, this dungeon is a coin toss. Avoid it, unless in a group, and even then, I wouldn’t recommend it.

C-Tier Dungeons

And finally, we’re getting to the dungeons we wouldn’t advise farming to anybody. They’re a slog to get through, or are really difficult to justify grinding. Here’s a list of our C-Tier dungeons.

Everdawn Grove

One of the shorter dungeons on the list, as it takes 11 minutes to time it. Good luck with doing that, though. There’s just one boss, but he’ll give you a run for your money. Boss fight mechanics are extremely challenging, and some of the moves wipe you out if you make a mistake.

Urrak Markets

This dungeon is designed more to challenge players than for them to grind it. Tons of mobs that constantly overwhelm you, and a stupidly powerful boss that punishes the slightest mistakes. The funniest thing is that this is just a normal Adventure with a 13-minute timer. Dying here is easy, so a short window to time it makes it extremely simple to get a group wipe. Also, the loot here is not worth all the trouble to get it. Avoid like wildfire.

Ransack of Drakheim

Hands down, the hardest dungeon in the game. This one takes forever to finish, but the loot here is amazing. Yet this one is definitely not for farming. Every single mistake, even with the mobs, will wipe you. The bosses are as hard as nails. It takes about 29 minutes to finish, but with such difficulty, there’s a high chance of wiping. Treat it almost like a raid. Definitely not for farming.

Dungeons Ranked by Difficulty

Even though we explained why some of the dungeons are difficult, we will now rank them based solely on difficulty. This will help you better understand what to expect. We will start with easier dungeons and then move on to more difficult ones. Check out Fellowship dungeons ranked by difficulty:

  1. Wyrmheart: Easy mechanics, easy boss fight, skippable trash. Basically a tutorial.
  2. Empyrean Sands: It adds up in mechanics in comparison to Wyrmheart. They’re still so easy that they don’t really add any challenge.
  3. Silken Hollow: The only “challenge” here is a boss fight, but it gives you plenty of time to avoid or react to its attacks.
  4. Sailor’s Abyss: The DoT can be a pain, but it’s countered by picking the right relic. Mobs are mainly going to be on the tank’s back, but they won’t have any problems.
  5. Heart of Tuzari: A pretty chill three-boss dungeon. Especially when you compare it to the others. None of the bosses provides any serious challenge if your party is coordinated.
  6. Stormwatch: That’s the first dungeon that will make you sit straight instead of lounging in your pro-gamer chair. Warlord Brogg is no joke. Take this fight seriously.
  7. Wraithtide Vault: A spectacle, but a dangerous one too. Three bosses with unique mechanics can provide you with a challenge. Here, you’ll need to actually memorize the patterns instead of just reacting to them.
  8. Godfall Quarry: Mostly a laid-back dungeon up until the boss. The boss fight is either difficult or a straight-up wipe. If your DPS doesn’t know what to do or does it badly, it will always be the latter.
  9. Cithrel’s Fall: More difficult compared to Heart of Tuzari, despite being an earlier capstone. Nonetheless, it provides a much harder challenge. Expect wipes.
  10. Everdawn Grove: Extremely punishing boss fight and tough mobs. It’s short, but it’s so difficult that it’s kinda funny.
  11. Urrak Markets: There’s almost no way to avoid mob groups. There are many casters among them. The boss fight is the second most difficult one. And it also takes forever to finish. Pure torture.
  12. Ransack of Drakheim: This dungeon is the hardest one in the game. Still, it’s fun, and the rewards for completing it make it actually worth suffering for. But yeah, you’ll probably wipe a lot. This dungeon is mostly a test for Paragon league players.

As you can see, the majority of dungeons in the game are quite challenging. Your best bet here is to find a stack of players, as it significantly lowers the difficulty. Or at least it’s less annoying to lose with friends. For the first couple of times, at least.

Best Dungeons for Beginners

If you are just starting out and are looking to get into dungeons, it’s better to take it slow. Learning is a crucial part of getting better later in the game. The fact that in the beginning, you may not have a constant party can also make things more difficult. If this is the case, then the best dungeons to farm as a beginner in Fellowship are:

  • Wyrmheart
  • Empyrean Sands
  • Silken Hollow
  • Sailor’s Abyss

You won’t have any problems even with a group of randoms in them, and they drop good loot. They will also help you to get adjusted to the game mechanics you may not be familiar with. Anyway, it’s a good idea to try to dive into simpler dungeons first, even if you have played games like this before.
