S-Tier
Best cards to use in the current meta. Include them in your decks if possible.
- Valkyrie: She got a 9% health nerf? Whatever. Still unmatched in her versatility. We don't think she'll ever leave meta.
- Witch: Crazy strong Evo. Nerfs didn't even touch it that much. Tons of healing through skeletons.
- Furnace: Strong against most deck types. It's so strong that you might expect some heavy nerfs, and even after that, you can expect to see it in the top 10.
- Baby Dragon: Its presence in decks is hard to overstate. Every other match you play, you'll see this critter. Best Evo in the game last season. It's been nerfed a little, but as you can see, not enough to move it out of S-Tier.
- Cannon: A really strong card. A top 5 Evo and it's never coming down the meta. Super versatile.
- Wall Breakers: Overtuned beyond belief. Not kidding when we say that in order to get rid of these pesky skellies, you'll spend half of your deck.
You really can’t go wrong with them. Building a deck around them will win you many matches.
A-Tier
These cards are super strong, though not OP. They are probably the safest to Evo, as they won’t be hit with nerfs first.
- Skeleton Army: Superb stats. Really annoying for the opponent, especially in Bait decks. Outplay opportunities galore.
- Executioner: This Evo can shut down pushes on its own. It has knockback, insane damage. It's hard to kill, and it’s really tanky.
- Giant Snowball: Strong Evo, versatile, great defense, and offense. No matter how you look at it, it's just a very good card overall. Works in most decks like wonder and the decks that rely on it are in meta right now.
- P.E.K.K.A: We're back babyyyy! Bridge Spam is strong now. A centerpiece to many decks. It does so many things at once that one of them will definitely make you closer to winning the match.
- Skeletons: Hard to use, but when used correctly, they ruin the whole flow of your opponent. They will have to come up with new tactics just to play around skellies.
If you wanna play it safe, Evo these cards and forget about worries.
B-Tier
These cards can provide great support to your top cards. On their own, they’re not as great, though.
- Skeleton Barrel: Basically, if Bait decks are doing good, then so does this card. This card alone can win you the game, so consider Evoing it.
- Royal Recruits: Despite the nerfs, it's returned to the meta primarily because everybody else got nerfed. A good card to Evo right now.
- Royal Ghost: Super strong. Good pressure. The problem is that the ghosts summoned by this card have only 100 HP. Any splash cards that are in the meta, like Baby Dragon or Witch, will kill your ghosts instantly.
- Mega Knight: Beatdown counterpick. Great defense in one lane. You can squeeze it in any deck, and the opponent will think twice before releasing their win condition at you.
- Goblin Barrel: The core of the Bait and Beatdown decks. We'll probably going to see it a lot in hyperbait decks this season.
- Lumberjack: Good at what it does - applying pressure. The downside is that it's not good at anything else. Still a strong Evo.
- Knight: Jack of all trades. Pretty solid, good value.
- Firecracker: Solid Evo. Has good versatility. It will likely get better, and there's a very small chance that it’ll go lower in rank.
- Royal Giant: Strong card. A centerpiece to many decks. Potential return to meta this season.
They’re still good investments, but here we suggest being a bit more cautious.
C-Tier
These cards are very situational. Some of them are just outmatched by other cards present in the game. Others are just not good. Think three times before upgrading them.
- Zap: Outperformed by Vines in every way. Not a bad card by any means. Very versatile, but why run it now?
- Mortar: Potential growth to a better position. Used to be really good, but was nerfed and now is not in the best spot.
- Musketeer: Very fun and has a lot of outplay potential. Try it in Mid Ladder, it's pretty good.
- Tesla: It's still a decent building even with X-Bow being a dead deck. Now it's primarily used to counter certain cards.
- Electro Dragon: Not the worst pick, honestly. It's an off-meta pick, but even now, it is kind of playable? Just wait for the Beatdown meta, don't use this card until then.
- Inferno Dragon: Vines are your main enemy, but after nerfs, it's not that bad. Still a niche card.
- Ice Spirit: Probably the most "eh" card in the list. Good in Bait decks, but they're not in the meta.
- Battle Ram: Fun off-meta pick. You should know what you're doing to use it well. If your opponent doesn't have a counter to it, it can deal some serious damage. The problem is, they usually do.
Evolution these cards only if you have no other option, and even then, we’d suggest waiting til you get something better.
D-Tier
Do not upgrade these cards, even for the memes. You’re just wasting your precious resources. We doubt that they’ll ever see a return in the meta soon.
- Goblin Cage: Raw stats-wise, it might seem a good idea to Evo this card, but don't be fooled. Cage breaks easily, so don't bother.
- Dart Goblin: Potentially good card, but needs to stay alive to bring use, and he usually dies to The Log.
- Wizard: Expensive and easily killed by most cards in the game.
- Hunter: Only usable if Royal Giant deck returns. Otherwise, forget about it.
- Bats: Potentially can get to a high position if Mortar gets buffed, but now they get countered by popular cards like Furnace, Baby Dragon, and Witch.
- Archers: Not the worst card in certain metas, but right now, all decks using Archers are bad.
- Barbarians: Out of meta, as many support card pushes counter Barbs hard.
- Goblin Giant: The decks using this card have been nerfed to the ground.
- Bomber: Out of meta, so no point investing in them.
- Goblin Drill: Actively make it worse. It's so bad that the devs are seeking to rework it.

- Baby Dragon: As annoying for the opponent as it is good for you. Its wind zone helps push away enemies. Great control tool against swarms and supports. Use it in Beatdown and, of course, Control decks.
- Wall Breakers: Use while you can. You get 2 for 1 with them. Explosion upon death deals chip damage. They’re also good at applying pressure for both lanes. Best in Minor Cycle, Bridge Spam, and Bait decks.
- Goblin Barrel: It’s the core in many Bait and Beatdown decks. It’s an investment in the future. If it’s not meta now, it will 100% return to it later. The best decks are Log Bait and Miner-Bait.
