For a long period of time, the Wish-Ender exotic bow has been used by many players to complete challenging activities such as Grandmaster Nightfalls or Master Raids and Dungeons.
The reason for this is the bow's high damage, which is accompanied by a 40% buff to all Exotic Weapons against red bar enemies, as well as the ability to penetrate barrier shields with a single shot.
However, for a new player, the quest for obtaining this exotic weapon can be quite challenging since no vendor offers the quest, and it cannot be found in the Exotic Kiosk either.
In our guide, we will explain how to get Wish-Ender Destiny 2 and what you should use with this bow.

Where to Find the Wish-Ender Quest in 2024?
If you have purchased the Forsaken expansion, you need to go to the Tower and approach the Quest Archive. In the Exotic tab, you will find the Wish-Ender quest, which you must take up.
If you do not see this quest there, check your inventory for x3 Dreaming Tokens. If you have them, it means that you have already completed the first stage of the quest, and you just need to charge these tokens.
1st Step of the Wish Ender Quest - Talisman Presented
To complete the first step of the Wish-Ender Exotic quest, you need to head to the Shattered Throne Dungeon located in the Dreaming City. It is not necessary to complete the entire dungeon. For the quest, you only need to pass two dungeon encounters.
The first encounter is a sort of labyrinth where you need to kill bosses in specific locations. The correct position is indicated by a glowing symbol that appears after killing the first boss.
Killing all the bosses will open the path to the second encounter, where you will face a more challenging enemy - Vorgeth, The Boundless Hunger.
The entire mechanics of the second encounter are centered around killing 4 witches located around the arena. When a witch is killed, a glowing sphere appears, and picking it up applies the Petitioner's Mark buff to you with a 40-second timer. BLOG20
During this time, you must collect another x1 Petitioner's Mark to refresh the timer and avoid dying. When you collect 4 of these buffs, you gain the ability to remove the boss's shield by placing the Petitioner's Burden buff on 1 of the 4 altars located around the arena.
Killing Vorgeth will open the path to the final encounter, and along the way, you will come across a statue with 3 cups. You will need to listen to the entire monologue of the statue, after which it will grant you x3 Dreaming Tokens.
At this point, Destiny 2 Wish-Ender guide can become the only source of information for many on what exactly needs to be done with these tokens and where to bring them.
Unfortunately, to answer this question, you will have to start the Shattered Throne Dungeon from the beginning.
2nd Step of the Wish Ender Bow Quest - Dreaming Tokens
To complete this stage, you will need to charge the three Dreaming Tokens Destiny 2 that were given to you by the statue.
To charge all the tokens, you will need to place 4 relics into altars. The locations of these altars can be found below.
Dreaming Token of Equirim
The relic is located in the first encounter, above the tower with the dragon symbol. You can reach it with the help of a statue located behind the tower.
After picking up the relic, you will need to climb onto the structure where the first boss was located (above the building with the symbols of a falling eagle and a snake in the form of an infinity sign).
To continue the Destiny 2 Wish-Ender quest, at the top of this structure, you will need to deliver the relic to the statue that does not have a sphere in its hands. Afterward, defeat the boss and proceed towards the location of the next relic.
Dreaming Token of Eriviks
One of the two relics for the second token is located on the bridges with Taken Ogres, in the back of the right side. We strongly advise clearing all the Ogres first before picking up the relic.
You need to deliver it to the statue in the same zone with the bridges. You can find it by progressing forward on the right side of all the bridges.
You can find the second relic after entering the slow mode zone. It will be located on the right, immediately after the first turn. Once you pick it up, you need to proceed through the slow territory and jump down. On the right, you will find the statue you need.
If you have done everything correctly, there will be gates open in front of you. You need to enter them and defeat the boss to charge the second Dreaming Token.
If the gates are not open, it means that either you died while delivering one of the two relics, or you did not deliver one of them to the correct statue at all.
Dreaming Token of Xavoth
Charging the final token is the most challenging part of the Wish-Ender quest 2024 because it is easy to make mistakes or die during this phase.
You need to progress through the encounter using the same mechanics - collecting buffs from the witches and placing Petitioner's Burden in one of the four altars. However, after placing the burden, instead of killing Vorgeth, you will need to slay Red Bar Minotaur that spawns to the right of the arena's exit.
After defeating it, a relic will appear nearby, which you need to deliver to the statue located on the left side of the arena's entrance.
All that's left for you to do is to kill the mini-boss that spawns after placing the relic and defeat Vorgeth as well.
Is Wish-Ender Good and What to Use with It
In Destiny 2, Wish-Ender has taken the lead as the top choice for Grandmaster Nightfalls and other challenging activities that require excellent one-shot damage with virtually unlimited shooting range, as well as the ability to penetrate barrier shields.
Its only worthy competitor is The Arbalest, which uses Special Ammo instead of Primary, but offers excellent shield penetration for any type of shield.
The only drawback of the Wish-Ender bow is its low firing rate. Because of this, using this bow against groups of enemies can be quite challenging, especially at close range.
If you want to comfortably use this exotic weapon, it is definitely worth considering the following guns that complement this drawback:
Weapon Name | Source | God Roll |
Forbearance | Vow of the Disciple Raid | Ambitious Assassin + Chain Reaction |
Adept Loaded Question | Grandmaster Nightfall | Overlow + Reservoir Burst |
Nessa’s Oblation | Root of Nightmares Raid | Demolitionist + Destabilizing Rounds |
Commemoration | Deep Stone Crypt Raid | Reconstruction + Killing Tally |
Fixed Odds | Duality | Feeding Frenzy + Incandescent |
If you do not have any of these weapons and you want to add a god roll to your inventory, you can always use our Legendary Weapons Boost service to obtain it in the shortest time possible with a guaranteed result.
Conclusion
Summing up, it is necessary to highlight both the pros and cons of using Wish-Ender 2024:
Pros:
- High damage, allowing you to kill most red bar enemies with a single shot, which can be very useful in Master and Grandmaster Nightfalls. In Legend Raids and Dungeons, it lets you kill most orange bar enemies with 1-2 shots;
- The ability to penetrate Barrier Shields eliminates the need to have legendary weapons with an anti-barrier mode;
- The ability to obtain this bow solo makes it an excellent choice for those who do not have a consistent team;
- The almost unlimited shooting range allows for playing safely without the need to close the distance with enemies for optimal damage.
Cons:
- Due to its kinetic damage type, it makes practical use of this bow in build crafting impossible. To synergize with your build, you will need to use a special weapon;
- The low rate of fire makes it impractical for dealing with groups of enemies, which forces you to rely on special weapons for clearing groups of ads.
Based on everything mentioned above, it can be confidently stated that this exotic is one of the best choices for any content, as long as you are willing to accept the need for a specific loadout to use it.
The infinite ammo reserve and high damage truly allow you to eliminate the need for constant target acquisition and recoil control, as all you need to do is draw the bowstring once and kill your enemy.
We hope that our guide has helped you answer the question of how to get Wish-Ender and provided insights on how to use it for a comfortable gameplay experience.
