Fortune’s Keep Secret Vault Returns!
One of the most interesting and actually useful hidden locations on the map is the Vault, which contains a ton of useful loot for the endgame and a large decal reward for your guns called the Genus Firmamentum. Here’s what you need to do to do the Fortune’s Keep Secret Vault solo there:
- Reaching the Throne Room - go to the Keep location on the map, and venture in its center, the so-called Throne-Room. It is a round-shaped room with a throne and a dragon mosaic on the floor.
- Opening the secret passage - approach the throne from either side and press F on the two lights on the walls. Do that for the other side, too. Then jump on the throne and press crouch, imagining yourself the ruler of this castle. If done correctly, you will hear an audio signal, and the round mosaic on the floor in the center will begin to lower, revealing a hidden staircase!
- Opening the Vault Door - go down the newly discovered secret passage, and you will find yourself in a round room with a round door planted into one of the walls. The door will have smaller rings that sort of remind you of a clock. Throw something that can produce fire at the door, and some of those small rings on the door will light up. Every shape on the door is like the torch on the wall planted all around you. You must activate the torchers whose rings have started glowing after you’ve wasted a Molotov. The rings and the lights they represent are placed so that if you’re facing the door, the upper 2 rings are the lights by the sides of the round door. Your job is to light up the lights that have matching glowing rings and extinguish the lights whose rings are not glowing.
- Enter the Vault - if you did not screw up and you matched the lights with the rings on the wall, the door will budge and open! If not, you can always throw another Molotov to retreat the challenge. Luckily, the Keep location should have a bunch of Molotovs as ground loot nearby.
The Fortune's Keep secret vault easter egg will contain a whole lot of supply boxes, including those that contain your personal loadout weapons (one per box). Once you’re done looting, you can safely exit the Vault through the tunnel which you will find in one of the corners of the Vault room. Or, if you’re feeling frisky, you can always take the stairs back into the Throne Room and then outside.
Fortune’s Keep The Dragon Stirs Quest Guide
Despite there being more Fortune’s Keep challenges locations, this one brings back to the Keep that hosts yet one secret, and by far the coolest one is the Dargon Stirs quest which will reward you with a universal camo called Crimson Wyrm and a firework show upon at the POI upon completion.
- One of the best Fortune's Keep Unlocks starts in another location. Your quest begins not in the Keep but rather at the Lighthouse POI. Here’s what you need to do there:
- Locate a gas can by searching around the Lighthouse.
- Go to the top of the lighthouse and use that gas can fill up the genny (generator) to make the Lighthouse work again.
- Aim the light beam at the first bird nest located a bit further to the left from the Lighthouse itself. You can mark the next as you would anything else in the game and then use the Lighthouse controls to rotate the spotlight.
- Next, your job will be obtaining 3 lenses, which can be located at those binocular visors for tourists around the map. You need to smack the viewer device using melee to get the lens. Here’s where to find each:
- Ground Zero
- Winery
- Terraces
- Each time you place the lens into the next, it will reflect the light from the Lighthouse. Once you’ve done that in each location, this step can be considered complete.
As soon as you have completed the steps above, every player in the lobby will see the message saying that you’re a good boy, and the Keep will launch some fireworks, confirming the fact. At the same time you’ll get that new Fortune's Keep free camo in found in the Extras tab of your arsenal.
Fortune’s Keep Bank Robbery Challenge and Calling Card
The parade of hidden quests and free Fortune’s Keep Bank Robbery Challenge rewards continues this time taking you to another POI called the Town. This quest has some RNG elements, so consider yourself warned. So, who is up to some bank heist and a free animated calling card? If you’re in, then follow these steps:
- Lotacte 3 electric drills within the Town POI. Those are the same drills that you could use if you played DMZ back in the day. There are only a total of 3 drills spawn, not far from each other, which is the exact amount needed to pull out the next steps.
- Go to the second floor of the bank and locate the locked door. To open it, you’ll need to push the red button under a desk nearby. This will also trigger a sound alarm, so be careful!
- Once inside, you’ll see a bunch of security deposit boxes, which can be opened with the electric drills. You gotta break into 3 boxes to get that sweet reward, though. Otherwise, you can open one or two for quick cash and loot.
The RNG element here is the spawns of the drills. There are more than 3 spots where they can spawn, so chances are, you’re going to have to run for a bit looking for the right spawn spot.
Fortune’s Keep Hazard Room Challenge and Emblem
Now, it's time to head out to the secret lab for our next reward! Want to know how to complete ray gun easter egg and use it against other players? The next hidden challenge will reward you with yet another exclusive emblem. This time, you’ll be exploring a secret laboratory hidden within the Ground Zero compound. Sounds interesting? Then let’s get started:
- Go to Ground Zero’s laboratory (use the directions sign to find it) and then proceed though the doorway that says “Sec B” on the sign beside it. You’ll find yourself inside an inundated lab with some electrical hazards from a few lose wires.
- Play some platforming, avoiding the danger of turning on 3 switches. You’ll only have a 10-second window to activate them all!
- When its safe to submerge into the water, you must dive in and swim through a tunnel until you will emerge inside a hidden room.
Success! Once you enter that hidden Hazard Room, you’ll immediately unlock the Fortune's Keep free emblem, and you’ll find a bunch of loot lying around. If you’re lucky, the Ray Gun from the zombie mode will spawn on the table!
Zarkour Race Challenge Completion
Back at the Winery POI, you can initiate a parkour race challenge, which will award you with different power-ups from the zombies mode based on how fast you’ve run through the checkpoints. But, first things first, here are the steps:
- Locate the starting flag at the top of the Winery compound.
- Another flag will appear nearby, and you’ll have 5 seconds to get to it.
- Chase down all flags to the last to finish the challenge.
Once you’ve hit the last flag, you’ll be showered with power-ups, which you will be able to pick up and enjoy! Here’s the complete list of all power-ups you can possibly get like this:
Power-Up | Duration | Description |
Double Points | 60 seconds | Doubles Plunder acquisition from both ground loot and kills, and boosts score events in Resurgence contributing to teammate respawn. |
Full Armor | Instant | Instantly fills all active Armor slots upon pickup. |
Max Ammo | Instant | Instantly refills ammunition for all carried weapons. |
Fire Sale | 90 seconds | Temporarily reduces the price of all items in shops. |
Looting Spree | 60 seconds | Enhances loot caches, significantly increasing the chance of bonus items, including a small chance for Legendary items. |
Zarkour | 60 seconds | Grants a speed boost of approximately 10%, enables infinite Tactical Sprint and reloading while sprinting, and removes fall damage. |
Undead Sight | 45 seconds | Highlights enemies in red and friendly squadmates in blue within your vision range, while also activating Tracker footsteps. |
Fortune’s Keep Hidden Chest Location
There’s a hidden cursed skull that you can find and loot, which will activate a fun yet challenging quest.
- Head to the overlook tower, where you'll encounter debris obstructing access to a concealed chamber.
- Use the explosive to clear the rubble.
- Upon entering, you'll discover a Cursed Relic shaped like a skull.
- Pick it up, and you will be teleported into the air without the ability to open the parachute. You’ll also become marked on the map for all players in the lobby.
- Despite not being able to use the parachute, you will land without taking any damage.
- Kill 5 players while carrying the skull, and you will see a skull mark on your Tac Map appear, indicating the location of a secret chest.
The chest will contain some very serious loot, including a random wonder Fortune's Keep free weapon for you to use.
Fortune’s Keep Research Vessel Challenge
This last challenge takes place inside a POI that changes its location in every match of Resurgence. Once you’ve loaded into the match, look at the map and find the vessel parked somewhere near the shore of the map. Be warned, this is a hot drop where lots of players will land for a chance to quickly get some great loot. The Vessel slowly goes around the map until it reaches its final destination. Once you’ve landed there, here’s what you need to do next:
- Locate the keycard - so far, 4 locations have been discovered where that thing spawns. Due to the small size of a POI, finding the keycard should not take too much time, but only one instance of the card spawns in a game. You will find it somewhere in the lower deck of the boat.
- Open the locked door - once you have the card, go to the very front of the vessel at the surface level.
- Enter the room - inside you will find a bunch of supply boxes, some of which will contain your personal loadout weapons.
Assuming that this is the last challenge you are completing, then after entering the room, you will have completed the mastery challenge and get the Fortune's Keep Mastery Unlock reward which is the Regal Blueprint for SOA Subverter Battle Rifle. Regardless of whether this is your final, 7th challenge completed or not, you will receive a charm called “Lil’ Skepper.” To complete the Research Vessel challenge.
