1. The Gjallarhorn is an Exotic Rocket Launcher that was the iconic weapon of Destiny 1. The Main Exotic Perk of the Gjallarhorn is "Wolfpack Rounds," which creates tracking cluster missiles on impact. Gjallarhorn Catalyst increases magazine size and upgrades the Wolfpack Rounds perk, which makes your DPS much higher.
2. The Xenophage is an exotic machine gun that can be equipped in the power slot and can only be obtained by completing a special quest on the Moon.  The main exotic perk of the Xenophage is "Pyrotoxin Rounds," which allows it to deal good single-target damage as well as eliminate small groups of enemies via splash damage. 
3. The Wish-Ender is an exotic bow that can be equipped in the kinetic slot and only obtained by completing a quest in the Shattered Throne Dungeon. The main perk of this weapon, the "Queen's Wrath," allows the wish-ender to highlight enemies behind walls while aiming down sights with a fully drawn bow. This bow also uses unique arrowheads called "Broadhead," which make your shot deal damage to a target both on entry and exit. It can also penetrate multiple targets. 
4. The Heartshadow is an exotic sword that can be equipped in the power slot and is only obtained as a random drop from the Duality dungeon boss. Heartshadow's two unique traits make it one of the best swords in the game. Exhumation is its intrinsic trait, and it turns players invisible while firing exploding Void projectiles whenever heavy attacks are made with full Sword energy. Shot in the Dark is its Exotic trait, and it synergizes with the intrinsic by increasing the damage dealt while players remain invisible.
5. The Hierarchy of Needs is an exotic bow that can be equipped in the energy slot and is only obtained as a random drop from the Spire of the Watcher dungeon boss. Hierarchy of Needs is very unique, and it also happens to be excellent at boss damage. It actually beats Outbreak Perfected and Touch of Malice for the top spot in Primary DPS, making it a staple backup weapon. It does a shedload of damage and still has all the bonuses of being a bow.
6. The Navigator is an exotic trace rifle that can be equipped in the kinetic (strand) slot and is only obtained as a random drop from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon boss. It has one of the most unique special functions in Destiny 2. Apart from its synergy with Strand subclasses, it can also benefit the entire team, especially when used by a Warlock.
