Valorant Abyss Map Overview

Added to the casual matchmaking on June 11th, 2024, Abyss is the 11th map with some pretty interesting features. As we’ve said before, it has no solid boundaries, which means that it’s possible for players to fall off the map and die. At the same time, the absence of these boundaries also gives you lots of new ways to pick and cut corners if you’re efficient with character movement. We’ll give you a few examples of where you can take advantage of this to jump across drops and take unexpected angles. In the Abyss map tips and tricks section, we’ll talk more about these things.

Valorant Abyss map layout is a fairly classic 3-lane setup. One lane per plant site plus the mid lane with a catwalk and shortcuts to both plant sites. The full list of features that you will encounter on this map is:

2. Example: On B Site, place the wall on the ledge to see enemies’ feet while they can't see you.

Omen:

1. Teleporting Tricks: Use Shadow Step (C) to teleport to unexpected places, confusing enemies.
2. Example: On B Site, smoke an area, teleport inside the smoke, and then jump off the cliff while teleporting back up.

Fade:

1. Wolf Scout: Use Prowler (C) to send a scouting wolf over cliff edges, revealing hidden enemies.
2. Example: Send the wolf across gaps to scout without risking yourself.
