Mists of Pandaria Classic PvP Changes

Unlike arenas, which are small-scale deathmatch encounters, battlegrounds can involve up to 10 or 15 players per team and focus more on strategy, coordination, and objective play.

In Mists of Pandaria Classic, battlegrounds are available in Casual (Random BG), Rated Battleground (RBG), and Skirmish forms. Players can queue solo or in groups, and rated battlegrounds offer Conquest Points and seasonal rewards for competitive players. MoP Classic PvP Rewards

MoP Classic PvP rewards are back with the familiar honor- and conquest-based PvP progression, but with a few fresh touches. Players can earn two main PvP currencies through their activity: Honor Points, which are awarded for random battlegrounds, world PvP, and general participation, and Conquest Points, which are gained through rated content like Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds.

These currencies unlock three tiers of PvP gear:
