Throne and Liberty Healer Build PROs and CONs
In this game, you are free to choose what 2 combinations of weapons you want to use in combat. This will determine what kind of abilities you will be able to use and what passives you will benefit from. By selecting the right combination, you will cater towards one or the other style of play and role. Being a healer has its advantages and disadvantages:
The Healer build PROs are pretty obvious:
- Versatile Healing and Support: This build excels in providing a wide range of healing and support options. The ability to heal individual targets as well as groups ensures flexibility in responding to different combat scenarios. Enhanced healing capabilities during certain conditions (like day or night) further boost this aspect.
- Effective Crowd Control and Debuffing: The build offers significant crowd control abilities, allowing the healer to reduce enemy effectiveness and manage the battlefield. The addition of debuffing skills helps weaken enemies, making them easier to handle for the entire party.
- Self-Sustain and Defensive Buffs: The combination of healing skills with self-sustaining and defensive abilities ensures the healer's own survival. This includes health restoration when attacking specific targets and the generation of protective shields under certain conditions, as well as improved mana regeneration for sustained skill usage.
At the same time, these Healer CONs will keep you on your heels:
- Complex Skill Management: Balancing between healing, debuffing, crowd control, and managing passive triggers can be complex. This complexity requires high situational awareness and strategic planning, which might be challenging, especially for less experienced players.
- Conditional Effectiveness: Many abilities in this build are conditionally effective, relying on specific scenarios or timings. This can lead to periods where the healer's effectiveness is reduced, depending on the combat environment and the flow of the battle.
- Limited Direct Damage Output: While the build is strong in support and control, it lacks direct offensive power compared to more damage-focused builds. It means that it will be a bit tough to level up solo, but your services will be in high demand for any group content.
To sum up, the healer build offers a balanced mix of healing, support, and control, with a focus on sustaining the party and managing enemies. However, it requires skillful management and may not be as effective in direct combat situations compared to more damage-oriented builds. The effectiveness of this build depends largely on the player's ability to adapt to varying combat scenarios and optimize the use of skills based on the situation. BLOG20
How To Play The Healer Build in Throne and Liberty
To make this build work, you’re going to need to use two weapons: Wand and Tome, plus the Longbow. Luckily, all weapons become available to you during the prologue, so you’re free to try out all of them. However, this particular build only uses the Wand with the Longbow. Here are some things that you need to know about how to play the healer build in Throne and Liberty and succeed at it:
- Learn all Skills as you level up - until you unlock all 12 active and 8 passive skills, you don’t need to select which skills to use and which not to use. Unlock all abilities, and don’t skip anything until you have them all.
- Longbow’s Nature’s Blessing and CC skills like Ensnaring Arrow synergize well with the healer’s skills, allowing you to maximize your healing and be more comfortable around enemies.
- Use the weather to your advantage. If there’s a strong wind, select the Longbow, as the speed of attacks will be increased.
- Depending on the time of day, your healing abilities will be more effective.
- During combat you will start with the DoT skills, then use your Longbow skills for damage. If the enemy is still alive, use auto-attacks with the selected weapon to finish them off.
- When fighting bosses, don’t forget to use various debuffs and CC effects, giving yourself time to address your own health and the health of your party members.
- Prioritize leveling your Wand and Tome, as this is the source of your healing. The longbow is your secondary priority weapon for dealing damage and extra CC skills.
These are the essential aspects of your gameplay as a healer. When you play solo, during the leveling phase, make use of your longbow’s damage-dealing skills and your wand’s DoT skills to farm mobs and complete contracts. In group content, your focus will be on maintaining your group’s HP. Damage dealing will not be your priority.
Throne and Liberty Healer Build Abilities
Each weapon offers you 10 active skills to choose from and 8 passive skills, plus one defense skill. But you won’t be able to use all of them in your quick slot bar. The following table will tell you which of the Throne and Liberty Healer abilities are from both weapons.
Let’s start with the active skills first:
Active Skill | Skill Type | Cooldown | Description |

Curse Explosion | Attack | 21s | Deals damage equal to 280% + 34 to Base Damage. For any enemies within 5m of the Target that you have inflicted with Curse: damage over time, it will forcibly remove all Curse, Burning, Poison effects applied by the player on them, dealing 130% of the remaining damage (if Burning and Poison are both applied, then together). |
Swift Healing | Survival | 15s | Restores a friendly target's Health by 310% of base dmg + 29. |
Cursed Nightmare | Control | 30s | Has an 80% (80% against monsters) chance to reduce Move Speed and Attack Speed by 30% for 3 sec and applies Sleep: Curse for 6 sec (12 sec against monsters). If the Sleep target is hit, the attack becomes a Critical Hit and removes Sleep. |

Ensnaring Arrow | Control | 15s | Fury Attack. Deals 130% of Base Damage, with 80% chance of Bind for 3s. |
Deadly Marker | Control | 30s | Has a 90% chance to choose a target for 9s. Increases your Melee, Ranged, and Magic Critical Hit by 150 and your Skills and your Melee, Ranged, and Magic Hit by 150 when attacking the marked target. Each successful Critical Hit landed on the marked target by you and your party members decreases you and your party members' remaining Skills cooldown by 1% and your Glory Aura skill cooldown by 6%. |
Purifying Touch | Tactics | 18s | Removes 1 CC effect from the selected target (in order of Actions Disabled > Moving Disabled > Enfeebled). At the same time, increases your Attack Speed by 19% for 3s. |
Blitz | Tactics | 90s | Resets the cooldown of the last used skill. It can only be used when a skill can be reset. |
Nature's Blessing | Survival | 42s | Creates an area with a radius of 16m that increases Health Regen by 1,460 of you and your party members for 3s. Only gets the effect within the area. |
The chosen skills form a well-rounded set, balancing offensive, defensive, and support roles for effective team-based combat. Offensive abilities focus on applying damage over time and stripping enemies of buffs, enhancing vulnerability. Defensive and support skills offer significant health restoration for both individual and group survival. Control skills, crucial for battlefield management, include slowing, binding, and sleep effects, coupled with critical hit enhancements and cooldown reductions. This synergy ensures adaptability in various combat scenarios, allowing for sustained damage, threat mitigation, and robust team support tor your healer build.
Throne and Liberty Healer Build Passives
Let’s continue our Healer build by providing you with a list of those passive skills from both weapons that you need to pick and use. You don’t need all of them, and you can’t use all of them. Provided collection of passives reinforces your build and combines well with the selected active skills
Passive Skill | Skill Type | Description |
Devotion and Emptiness | Tactics | Skill Heal increases by 9% during the day. Skill damage over time increases by 9% at night. |
Wraith's Beckon | Tactics | Increases the Duration of Curse you inflict by 1.95 sec. |
Bloody Contract | Survival | Every attack that hits a target Cursed by you restores the Health of a friendly target by 8.6% of the damage. |

Saint's Oath | - | Skill Heal, Incoming Skill Heal, Amitoi Heal, and Recovery Crystal Heal increase by 10% for 3 sec with a 10% chance when taking Skill Damage. Stacks up to 10 times. |
Flawless Spirit | - | Increases Mana Regen by 16.2 per stack for 3 sec when you cast a buff on a friendly target. This effect stacks up to 10 times. |
Devoted Shield | Survival | When Enfeebled, creates a Shield of 3,000 Health with a 7.5% chance that lasts for 3s. |
Storm String | Tactics | Range increases by 8.5%. |
The selected passive skills enhance a healer build by boosting healing effectiveness, adapting to time-based conditions, and scaling with mana levels. They synergize with active skills by extending curse durations, thus amplifying both offensive and defensive capabilities. Health restoration linked to damage dealt to cursed targets and enhanced healing under specific conditions further solidify the healer's role. Additionally, improved mana regeneration supports sustained ability usage, while a conditional health shield and increased range ensure better survivability and positional flexibility. This combination creates a versatile healer adept in both direct support and contributing to overall team dynamics.
Throne and Liberty Healer Build Rotations
There are two types of things you’ll be doing as a healer - healing and dealing damage. The latter mostly happens when you’re leveling and playing on your own, doing solo content. That’s why we’re giving you two rotations. One is the best Throne and Liberty Healer PvE build rotation.
Damage Dealing Rotation:
- Touch of Despair: Initiate with this for DoT and curse application.
- Curse Explosion: Follow immediately to capitalize on the curse.
- Cursed Nightmare: Use next for crowd control and slowing enemies.
- Deadly Marker: Apply to increase critical hits and focus on a key target.
- Blitz: Use to reset the cooldown of the most impactful skill used earlier, likely Touch of Despair or Curse Explosion.
- Nature's Blessing: Apply for area healing and support.
- Auto-Attack: Employ only if all skills are on cooldown and waiting for reset.
This rotation prioritizes applying and exploiting curses for maximum damage, followed by crowd control and focusing on critical hits. The rotation ends with a skill that provides healing, ensuring sustainability in combat.
The second one is the best Healer build rotation for group content.
Healing Party Members Rotation:
- Swift Healing: Start with this for immediate targeted healing.

Healer Build Leveling Throne and Liberty
At the start of the game, you won’t be doing anything but leveling. You won’t have your full arsenal of skills yet, so use whatever is available to you during the initial stages of Throne and Liberty Healer leveling, after you have completed the prologue. If you don’t know which weapon you should have as your primary, adapt to the weather and time of day. For instance, if the wind is strong, switch to the Longbow as your attack speed will be increased, and it will be way easier for you to use auto attacks. Also, if it's the Tailwind, you’ll have a bigger range, so you can start using your bow from a greater and safer distance.
In the early stages, it is imperative to focus on completing purple and blue contracts. The first kind is your main story arc, but whenever you arrive in a new zone, you’ll see several new quests and challenges pop up. There’ll be at least 5 new contracts that you can do; don’t miss those. More often than not, the contract objectives overlap or are found physically very close to each other. It makes completing them much easier. The reason you mustn’t skip the zone contracts is that you do need all of the rewards that completing them will bring. You’ll need the weapon and armor upgrade tokens as well as all the various consumables like food and especially mana and health restoration potions.
Once you’re above level 10-15, you can start looking for a guild. This isn’t just an advice on making new friends. Throne and Liberty is a very guild-focused game, and as a healer, you are very needed in group content. Joining a guild will give you tons of benefits, and also this way, you will have a constant party for doing group content. Your ultimate goal would be reaching the max level and upgrading all of your skills to the max rarity.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Healer build in Throne and Liberty stands out as a highly versatile and crucial role in group content. The chosen combination of weapons provides the best skills for healing. At the same time, this combo also gives you a lot of very useful CC and damage-dealing skills that will help you level up your character and stay alive in group activities. With its ability to provide substantial healing, effective crowd control, and debuffing, the Healer is indispensable in managing the battlefield and sustaining the party's health. While it may lack direct damage output, the Healer's value in group content is unmatched, making it a rewarding choice for players who enjoy a supportive and tactical playstyle. At the end of the day, healers are a key part of any group, and they will always be in high demand since Throne and Liberty has such a strong focus on group content. Enjoy this role, and we’ll see you in the next one.
