Edge of Fate Exotics List

Edge of Fate drops six fresh exotics, and they’re all doing something wild. Some bring back old favorites with a twist, while others shake things up with brand-new mechanics. From flashy hand cannons to spicy armor builds, there’s a little something here for every type of player. These exotics are more than just cool loot. They open the door to creative, chaotic, and downright fun gameplay. Here’s a complete Edge of Fate exotics list added to the game with this DLC:

  • Graviton Spike Exotic Hand Cannon
  • New Land Beyond Exotic Sniper Rifle
  • Third Iteration Exotic Scout Rifle
  • Melas Panoplia Titan Exotic Gauntlets
  • Eunoia Warlock Exotic Gauntlets
  • Moirai Hunter Exotic Chest

These are all Edge of Fate exotics in Destiny 2 so far. Every one of these exotics can fuel a whole new playstyle. If you’re into hammer-throwing mayhem, freezing mobs solid, or going full ninja with invis and tracking, Edge of Fate has you covered. Try them out, mix them into your builds, and see what kind of chaos you can create.

How Our Exotics Tier List Works

Our Edge of Fate exotics tier list ranks each one in terms of usefulness. We look at performance in PvE and PvP, synergy with builds, and overall impact. This includes damage output, utility, ease of use, and potential in different activities. We’ve also factored in how well each exotic works with its subclass and mods. The list helps you decide what’s worth chasing and what can wait. Every piece is unique, but some clearly shine above others.

Here’s how we break things down:

  • S-Tier: Absolute best in slot. Dominates in most builds and feels powerful instantly.
  • A-Tier: Excellent picks with strong performance and reliable perks for various playstyles.
  • B-Tier: Solid choices, good in the right setup but not always a top priority.
  • C-Tier: Niche or underwhelming. They may work well, but usually have better alternatives.

Keep in mind, new builds and sandbox changes can bump an exotic up or down. What starts in B-Tier today might feel like S-Tier after the next meta shift. Don’t strive to use Destiny 2 Edge of Fate top weapons only. Instead, see what suits your build, don’t be afraid to experiment, and never chase the meta if it’s not worth it.

Edge of Fate Exotic Weapons Tier List

Edge of Fate brings three exotic weapons that each offer something very different. We’ve placed them based on how they feel in real gameplay, how much impact they bring, and how well they fit into strong loadouts. Each one has some unique mechanics, but not all are equally useful or efficient. Here’s our Edge of Fate exotic weapons tier list for you:

Tier Weapon
A-Tier Graviton Spike
B-Tier New Land Beyond
C-Tier Third Iteration

So far, there are no best Edge of Fate exotics discovered to put in the S-Tier. Yes, Graviton Spike seems strong enough, but it still belongs to the A-Tier only.

These placements reflect overall usefulness, not just raw power. Some weapons are flexible and fit many builds. Others feel more niche or harder to use well. As the meta shifts and more players experiment, their value may rise or drop over time. For now, this tier list gives a clear snapshot of how each weapon stacks up.

Graviton Spike

Graviton Spike is the strongest Edge of Fate exotic in the weapon category. This is a brand-new Arc exotic Hand Cannon introduced in this DLC. It’s the first new exotic hand cannon since Hawkmoon, which dropped back in Season 12. That alone makes it special, but the weapon’s true strength lies in its flexible dual-mode design. You can switch between fast-firing Arc rounds or slower, heavy-hitting Stasis shots on the fly.

Here are some facts about Graviton Spike and what makes it so powerful:

  1. Switch between Arc and Stasis modes for different elemental effects
  2. Arc kills charge up Stasis mode and vice versa
  3. Overcharged shots summon lightning or form stasis crystals
  4. 150 RPM frame, sharing that slot only with Sunshot
  5. Deep Sight socket may hint at crafting or deeper upgrades

The core perk, Temporal Manipulation, lets you build overcharge with kills and precision hits. Once charged, swapping modes unlocks unique effects. Arc mode brings down lightning on enemies, while Stasis mode creates explosive blasts and stasis crystals. It only takes a few kills to build up the energy needed, and you can shoot up to three charged rounds before it resets. Special reloads are how you unleash those boosted shots, so mastering timing is key.

This Hand Cannon runs with 16 zoom, higher than most others in the game. Its base stats aren’t amazing, but the exotic effects open up creative gameplay. You’re rewarded for swapping modes and keeping a steady kill flow going. With the right subclass synergy, this weapon can become a loop of freezing and shocking every room you walk into. It's clever, stylish, and definitely built for players who love ability combos.

New Land Beyond

New Land Beyond is a returning Kinetic Sniper Rifle from Destiny 1, reimagined for Edge of Fate. It features strong synergy with precision shots, making it a solid option in both PvE and PvP. While not overpowered, it rewards skillful play and works especially well with Stasis builds. Its two perks focus on improving aim and building damage over time, especially when landing consecutive headshots.

Key details of New Land Beyond to know:

  1. Features updated perks when compared to its original version
  2. Available early through Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition
  3. Synergizes best with Osmiomancy Stasis Warlock builds
  4. Not mandatory to buy now, will be obtainable for all in July
  5. Supports strong PvE freeze-based tactics for precision chains

The weapon’s best PvE pairing right now is a Stasis Warlock using Osmiomancy Gloves. By freezing targets first, you’ll find it much easier to land those headshots. This lets you fully benefit from its scaling damage perks. If you’re still waiting, Ice Breaker can be a great temporary alternative. It’s not the flashiest sniper, but New Land Beyond brings a nostalgic feel with a modern twist.

Third Iteration

Third Iteration is a new Void exotic Scout Rifle with one of the most original designs we’ve seen in a while. It fires a spread of energy blasts by default, but when you aim down sights for a moment, those blasts condense into a single high-powered projectile. This alternate fire mode changes the weapon completely and unlocks big potential for skilled players.

The exotic trait, Amalgamation Rounds, allows the charged shot to mark targets. Once marked, these enemies take more damage from the weapon. Precision kills or eliminating marked foes grants you invisibility and true sight, which can be incredibly strong in both PvP and PvE. You can loop these effects by landing perfect shots, rewarding accuracy, and timing.

Here's why Third Iteration is worth your attention:

  1. Hip-fire spreads multiple Void blasts like a shotgun
  2. ADS compresses into one precision shot with bonus damage
  3. Marked targets take more damage and trigger invisibility on kill
  4. Comes with a battery-style reload mechanic to speed up charge
  5. Exotic catalyst adds weakening explosions on precision kills

You also get a unique reload option by pressing the reload button, venting the core to recharge faster. This adds another layer of skill, especially during hectic fights. The true sight vision it gives is perfect for tracking enemies in PvP, giving you a Hunter-style edge on any class.

While it sits in the C-Tier for now, it’s not because the weapon is weak. It just takes more effort and build support to shine, and it may still become a sleeper hit in the right hands. BLOG20

Edge of Fate Exotic Armor Tier List

The new Exotic armor pieces in Edge of Fate bring fresh abilities and unique gameplay twists. Each one is designed to match a class-specific playstyle, offering exciting ways to experiment. Some shine right away, while others need more testing or specific builds to work well. Check out our Edge of Fate exotic armor tier list:

Tier Armor
A-Tier Eunoia
B-Tier Melas Panoplia, Moirai

These rankings may shift once more players experiment and additional sandbox updates drop. Still, each piece brings something fun to the table, so it’s worth trying them all. Similarly to what we’ve done to the weapons, we’ll have these Edge of Fate exotics ranked and described in detail as well.

Eunoia

Eunoia is the new Warlock Gauntlets exotic, built to supercharge your Helion grenades. It comes with the perk Console’s Pitch, which boosts Helion projectile damage the farther they travel. Once they hit, they fracture into scorching shrapnel that hunts down nearby enemies. It sounds simple, but it makes Helion way stronger than usual. So far, we can confirm that Eunoia is the best exotic armor in the Edge of Fate DLC. Though, still not too strong to be put in the S-Tier.

In testing, the damage jumped from 216 to 249 when Helion traveled a bit farther. On top of that, the shrapnel added another 18 damage per hit, and it didn’t miss often. The tracking is surprisingly aggressive, so even targets around corners aren't safe. PvP players might find this one a little frustrating to deal with, especially since Helion is already strong.

What makes Eunoia stand out:

  1. Boosts Helion damage by distance traveled
  2. Projectiles split into scorching shrapnel after impact
  3. Shrapnel aggressively tracks enemies in range
  4. Hits a damage cap but performs best at medium-long range
  5. Works great with solar builds like Ember of Ashes

This exotic is great for Warlocks who already lean into solar builds. It's especially nasty in PvP, where tracking shrapnel can clean up after an initial hit. And in PvE, it’s perfect for clearing groups and causing chain ignitions. If you love blowing things up with Helion, Eunoia takes that to the next level.

Melas Panoplia

Melas Panoplia is a new Titan exotic Gauntlets made for Solar hammer lovers. These gauntlets give you the power to recall your throwing hammer, finally solving the problem of running after it like a caveman. The perk Forge Master activates when you get rapid Solar kills or pick up a fire sprite. Once active, throwing your hammer lets you recall it by hitting melee again. When recalled perfectly, it explodes and keeps the Forge Master buff going.

The hammer recall has a short cooldown but feels faster than usual. Plus, the hammer can damage enemies on the way back. If timed right, the recall causes a small explosion and extends your buff by three seconds. It also heals you every time you grab the hammer. The perk rewards skill, since perfect recalls are the key to keeping the cycle going.

See what is so special about Melas Panoplia:

  1. Recall your hammer instead of chasing it
  2. Hammer explosions happen after perfect recalls
  3. Deals damage both when thrown and recalled
  4. Grants Cure when hammer is picked up
  5. Forge Master buff can be extended with good timing

This exotic might not fully bring back the Bonk Titan meta, but it makes it fun again. It also adds a skill-based layer that feels satisfying in both PvE and PvP. Titans have waited a long time to be Thor, and now that dream is finally real.

Moirai

Moirai is a new exotic Chest piece made just for Strand Hunters. Its exotic perk, Web Catcher, gives Threaded Spike a powerful new interaction with Tangles. When your spike hits a Tangle, it detonates and instantly returns, bringing a new Tangle with it. If no Tangle is hit, the spike refunds melee energy instead.

This exotic makes a wild combo when paired with Threaded Maelstrom, where detonating Tangles sends out swirling projectiles. With Moirai, you can keep the loop going longer, and maybe even have two Maelstroms active at once.

Moirai is great for the following reasons:

  1. Detonates Tangles with Threaded Spike
  2. Spike returns instantly and rewoven Tangle is retrieved
  3. Extra melee Energy refunded
  4. Can chain multiple Tangles quickly
  5. Pairs well with Tangle-based artifact perks

Even without gameplay footage yet, this exotic looks insane on paper. If you love Strand Hunter chaos in Onslaught or PvE content, Moirai is one to watch. It's aggressive, smart, and built for shredding enemies with nonstop Strand mayhem.

Conclusion

This wraps up our best Edge of Fate exotics tier list, Guardians. From a Hand Cannon that strikes with lightning to gloves that call back hammers, each one changes how you fight. These aren’t just strong, they make you play in brand-new ways. Test different builds, mix up your loadouts, and find what clicks best. Every weapon and armor piece has its own unique edge. If you enjoy experimenting and pushing your limits, now’s the perfect time to jump in and try them all out.
