Luna's Howl Hand Cannon

The Howl at the Moon quest for this gun will be available on April 30, 2024, from Arcite 99-40.

Luna’s Howl is one of those weapons that gets brought up every time someone mentions the game itself. This is, without exaggeration, an iconic weapon, and it's back in the game, offering 140 RPM and some crazy perks. As a part of the Brave arsenal guns, Luna’s Magnificent Howl perk is perfect for PvP and PvE, but perks like Heal Clum, Desperate Measures, and Heal Clip are no less valuable.

Midnight Coup Hand Cannon

The Midnight Ride quest becomes accessible on April 16, 2024. It will have the following set of objectives:

Edge Transit Heavy Grenade Launcher

The Edgelord quest is available in the Hall of Champions right away. It comes with the following objectives:

If you also add something like Cascade Point on top of it, you’ll be able to increase DPS even further! You can switch between the perks during different phases of endgame content like raids. For instance, use the Envious Assassin during DPS phases and then replace it with Cascade Point to clear the adds. It's easier to deal more damage when you don’t have to reload.

Falling Guillotine Sword

But it’s not always possible to use this perk, as you’re not always surrounded like that. Bait and Switch give you a steady increase of damage by 30%.

Blast Furnace Pulse Rifle

Blast from the Past will become available on April 30, 2024. It will include the following objectives:

1. Swiftly eliminate adversaries with Pulse Rifles across all locations in the system.

Blast Furnace comes back into the game, bearing a few completely new perks. Frenzy increases reload speed and damage. Meanwhile, Kinetic Tremors creates shockwaves that hit multiple enemies with AoE damage.

For PvP you got perfect perks like the Headseeker, Zen Moment, and others. If you manage to get Kill Clip with these perks, it’ll be a very deadly combo.

Hung Jury SR4 Scout Rifle

The readily available Jury Duty quest has the following requirements:

1. Swiftly eliminate adversaries with Scout Rifles across all locations in the system.
2. Gain bonus progress by achieving rapid final blows during Onslaught encounters.
3. Alternatively, vanquish enemy Guardians using Scout Rifles in combat situations.

This gun has been in and out of the game for about four times! The set of perks it comes with look a lot like Blast Furnace, if we’re talking about best perks for PvE. Fortunately, Hung Jury does not let down in PvP game modes either. The Box Breathing combines with every other perk from the PvP category of our table rather well. All of this makes this gun one of the best primaries you can have. Don’t sleep on it.

Succession Sniper Rifle

The Right of Succession quest is already in the game. All you need to do to complete it is this:

1. Eliminate adversaries with Sniper Rifles across all locations in the system.
2. Gain bonus progress by achieving rapid final blows during Onslaught encounters.
3. Alternatively, vanquish enemies in Dungeons or raids using Sniper Rifles in combat situations.

If you love this type of weapons, you’re going to love Succession in PvE. It doesn’t feature any brand-new perks like the rest of the guns from the list, but the ones that it does have are good enough. These perks allow you to deal devastating damage to enemies that are very far away from you.

You could also try it in PvP, thanks to the Discord perk that gives you unlimited special ammo for a short period of time.

Forbearance Grenade Launcher

You’ll be able to get the Patience and Forbearance quest when it becomes available on April 23rd, 2024. To complete it, you must do the following:

Forbearance has been part of the meta from the day it appeared in the game. This isn’t going to change today, even if there’s no more Origin Trait. Demolitionist lets you recharge your grenade ability much faster, which will come in handy when clearing adds (weaker monsters that attack in big groups). Both new and old versions of this weapon are equally powerful, albeit for different reasons.

Elsie's Rifle Pulse Rifle

The Stranger Danger quest is available to you right now. Find Arcite 99-40 and accept it to receive a set of objectives:

1. Eliminate adversaries with Pulse Rifles across all locations in the system.
2. Gain bonus progress by achieving rapid final blows during Onslaught encounters.
3. Alternatively, vanquish enemies in the Vanguard playlist using Pulse Rifles in combat situations.

This gun was first released in the first Destiny game under a different name. It was awarded for completing the story campaign. Now, it comes with a new name and a bunch of interesting perks, combining which you can make some great god rolls. Since it’s a Pulse Rifle, it might not be the best weapon in PvE unless you’re really into Pulse Rifles. But it can be used to quickly gain overshiled for Void sub-classes.

The situation is very different in PvP. You have two choices - you can go for extra range with the Keep Away perk or extra stability when using Zen Moment. Either way, you’re going to need the Headseeker for extra critical damage.
