The 10.1.5 patch has been released, introducing significant changes to the game. Despite being only an intermediary update, it brings several important changes to the game.
One of them is the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon. The latter represents an eight-boss activity where players will fight off against mighty bosses like Iridikron, Galakrond, and Morchie. The latter is Chromie’s evil alter ego. Your main goal is to stop the Infinite Dragonflight from turning Nozdormu into Murozond. This activity promises to be extremely exciting and lore-rich.
The game’s veterans should remember Galakrond who was first introduced in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion back in 2008. Since then, a lot of players waited for him to become a potential boss in World of Warcraft. So, after many years, their wish has finally come true.
In our comprehensive Dawn of the Infinite guide, we will share all the details we know about this activity so far. At the moment, we know the bosses’ names you will stand against. Still, they may be changed before the patch’s release. As we learn more details, we will update this article to share the latest information with you.

A lot of players were sure that this area would become a possible dungeon or raid entrance. Those who have been playing the game for long enough have seen similar activities in previous expansions and predicted it in Dragonflight as well. This megadungeon is going to be very similar to Legion's Return to Karazhan, Battle for Azeroth's Operation: Mechagon, and Shadowlands' Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. Chronikar Boss Overview
Chronikar dedicated her entire existence to the Infinite Dragonflight, tirelessly climbing the ranks until she ultimately attained the prestigious position of commander. Within the radical infinites, her unwavering devotion and fervor stood unparalleled. Embracing her role as the revered rearguard, she possessed an unyielding determination to extinguish any opposition that dared to challenge her order.
This is one of the bosses we have the pictures of. Later, we are going to provide you with a detailed Chronikar fighting strategy. Stay tuned and we will help you excel in this encounter!
Chronikar Abilities
Eon Shatter |
Chronikar jumps onto a target and deals Arcane damage within 18 yards causing time fluctuations in the form of Eon Fragments and Eon Residue. |
---|---|
Eon Residue | Players within a 2.5-yard range of the residual impact experience a surge of time energy. This surge inflicts Arcane damage every second for a duration of 8 seconds. In case no player is affected, the residual energy detonates, causing Residue Blast. |
Eon Fragments | Timespace Fragments explode dealing damage to any players they hit and knocking them back. |
Lifespan Shear | Chronikar wields an axe to sever the lifespan of her target, delivering a forceful blow that not only pushes them backward but also deals Physical damage and inflicts Sheared Timeline. Additionally, the strike makes the target absorb incoming healing and cannot be dodged or parried. |
Sand Stomp |
Under marked players, Withering Sandpool appears when Chronikar stomps the ground. |
Chronikar Mechanics & Strategy
When facing off against Chronikar, it is important to eliminate the boss's trash that is constantly spawning around you. Here are a few things you need to keep in mind:
- Make sure to interrupt Infinite Chronoweaver's Chronomelt cast. If the channeling ends successfully, you will suffer damage and have your Haste and Movement Speed reduced by 50%;
- The same advice goes for Infinite Timeslicer with its Temposlice cast. Make sure to use any CC to interrupt it before the channeling ends;
- Always stay on the move to avoid Timerip cast by Epoch Ripper.
When fighting Chronikar herself, it is important to stay away from her Withering Sandpool. For easier management, it is essential to place Sand Stomp somewhere at the end of the room. In this case, you will have more space to move around the platform freely and avoid taking damage at all.
On top of that, you need to watch Chronikar's Energy Bar. Once it reaches 100, make sure to dodge Eon Shatter, which will be cast on 2 party members. After that, you can safely soak Eon Residue. This should be done before it transforms to Residue Blast. If you cannot make it on time, the entire party will be wiped out for sure.
Manifested Timeways Boss Overview
A manifestation of the sands of time itself. This ancient being is always watching, always waiting for the moment when the Timeways are in peril. She was unable to stop the Infinite Dragonflight as they crashed their way into the past. Now, faced with more intruders, she refuses to fail a second time.
Do not forget to check our guide from time to time to learn a Manifested Timeways fighting strategy. We are going to share it right after this activity is added to the game.
Manifested Timeways Abilities
Timeways Conflux | The boss is encompassed by dynamic fields of temporal energy, which bestow the effects of either Accelerating Time or Decaying Time. |
---|---|
Decaying Time | Players caught within the influence of this ability experience a disconnection from the flow of time receiving Arcane damage. Furthermore, the effect diminishes the temporal flow of the affected target by 5%, resulting in decreased movement speed, casting and attack speed, cooldown recharge rate, and periodic tick rates. |
Accelerating Time | By expediting the connection to time, the afflicted target suffers Arcane damage every second. Simultaneously, their temporal flow is amplified by 5%, resulting in an increase in movement speed, casting and attack speed, cooldown recharge rate, and periodic tick rates. |
Chrono-faded | Targeted players experience a weakening effect that causes continuous Arcane damage over a duration of 30 seconds. The frequency of this effect is heightened when Accelerating Time is active. Upon expiration or dispelling of the effect, Chronofade is released. |
Fragments of Time | Over a duration of 7 seconds, the boss draws upon temporal energies from both the future and the past, resulting in the release of temporal pockets. The latter deals Arcane damage upon contact with players and continues to inflict additional Arcane damage for a duration of 6 seconds. Notably, when Decaying Time is in effect, the traversal speed of these pockets is noticeably reduced. |
Unwind | Unleashes a surge of time energy towards a designated target, resulting in the infliction of Arcane damage twice to players positioned in front. However, for those affected by Decaying Time, the impact of the second effect is deliberately delayed. |
Radiant | When the current target is beyond melee range, time magic emanates and imposes Arcane damage. The potency of this damage escalates by 15% with each consecutive cast. |
Manifested Timeways Mechanics & Strategy
The most tricky boss’ mechanics is the fact that the entire fighting area is split into 4 equal parts. The first two of them will have you experience the Decaying Time debuff if you stay in them. As for the second two, you will be affected by the Accelerating Time debuff. No matter wherever you decide to stay, you will still suffer from DoTs every 3 or 1 second. However, we would recommend that you play around the Decaying Time zone, as it will be easier to dodge Fragments of Time.
At the same time, you will have to face off against dangerous mobs the boss will summon from time to time. For instance, your healers should always dispel Coalesced Time's Chronoburst. It is also crucial to interrupt Coalesced Moment's Infinite Bolt and Timestream Leech's Enervate. Getting rid of Timestream Anomaly's Bloom is also vital, as it can destroy the entire party if you do not dispel the effect on time.
Once again, when fighting Manifested Timeways, it is crucial to play around quick dispels. Ideally, you want to have a Priest with his Mass Dispel to make the battle much easier. Finally, staying inside the Decaying Time part of the battlefield is more beneficial practically in all situations. We have provided you with an example of how it can help you above. Speaking of another one, it will be easier to dodge the Chronofade waves after you dispel Chrono-faded. On top of that, you will suffer less damage over time, as it will only happen once per 3 seconds.
Blight of Galakrond Boss Overview
The primal dragons emerged from the necrotic energies emanating from Galakrond's lifeless form. Ahnzon embodies the insatiable hunger of the storm, while Dazhak represents the devouring gluttony of the flame. Loszkeleth epitomizes the frigid, relentless starvation. Now, the heroes of Azeroth find themselves at risk of becoming a delectable feast for these formidable beings.
As usual, we will update our article to share a Blight of Galakrond fighting strategy. This will happen right after the activity is available in the game.
Blight of Galakrond Abilities
Corrosive Infusion | Engulfs a player with a volatile surge of corrosive energy, applying the effects of Corrosion and Corrosive Expulsion. |
---|---|
Blight Reclamation | Blight of Galakrond seizes the life essence of players within the frontal cone, resulting in the infliction of Physical damage. Additionally, this effect reclaims Corrosion from the affected players upon impact. |
Blight Seep | Throughout the battle, the creature emits a noxious corruption that permeates the surroundings, causing the effect to spread across the floor. This corruption not only contaminates the environment but also drains energy from the creature itself. |
Necrotic Winds | The boss employs a forceful tug to draw players towards Blight Seep, unleashing a barrage of tornadoes infused with the formidable powers of a dragon's storm. Upon contact, these tornadoes inflict Nature damage to the affected players while simultaneously forcefully propelling them away. |
Necrofrost | Blight of Galakrond utilizes its power to immobilize players, subjecting them to a rooted state and impeding their movement by 20% while also dealing Frost damage. This effect persists until it is dispelled or otherwise removed. |
Incinerating Blightbreath | Harnessing the formidable power of Dazhak, Blight of Galakrond unleashes a continuous stream of scorching Fire damage upon players situated in front of the dragon at intervals of 0.5 seconds. |
Blight Spit | Blight of Galakrond expels a noxious blight towards a targeted player, resulting in the infliction of Nature damage upon impact. |
Blight of Galakrond Mechanics & Strategy
The Blight of Galakrond boss is probably the “richest” encounter in terms of mechanics you will have to play around. The reason for this is that the battle consists of 3 stages. During Phase 1, you will face off against Blight of Galakrond. Once its HP reaches 80%, you will fight with Ahnzon. Reducing the boss’ HP to 50%, Phase 3 starts and you will have to face off against Loszkeleth and Dazhak.
So, here are the most important mechanics you should be playing around in every Phase:
- During Phase 1, Blight Seep and Corrosive Expulsion should be avoided at any cost. Otherwise, you might be stunned and suffer a ton of damage while immobilized;
- Transferring the Corrosion debuff to your tank is vital, as this person can soak more damage than any other role in your party. Your tank should also experience Blight Reclamation to get rid of Corrosion. If you do not do this within 12 seconds, Corrupted Mind can destroy your party;
- During Phase 2, Ahnzon will cast Corrosion and Blight Reclamation as well. Make sure to clear them in the same way you do during Phase 1;
- During Phase 3, 100% of the damage done against Loszkeleth also goes to Dazhak. It is also crucial to destroy Loszkeleth’s Necrofrost. Finally, make sure to avoid Dazhak’s Incinerating Blightbreath.
Based on the observations, Phase 2 is the most challenging one. The reason for this is that you will also have to play around Necrotic Winds. If you get hit by tornadoes, make sure to use your defensive cooldowns to avoid getting wiped.
Iridikron the Stonescaled Boss Overview
Infused with elemental earth magic, Iridikron reigns as the most dominant of the Primal Incarnates. He harbors a desire to overthrow the Aspects and purge the world of the titan's sway. However, the means by which he intends to achieve this goal remain shrouded in mystery. Allying himself with the Infinites, Iridikron's motives remain unclear. Regardless, he poses a significant threat that must be neutralized.
We have managed to get our hands on the boss’s picture as well. Later on, we will update the article to share a detailed Iridikron the Stonescaled fighting strategy.
Iridikron the Stonescaled Abilities
Extinction Blast | The boss unleashes a devastating blast directed at a player, causing immense Nature damage to all allies within a 20-yard radius. Those affected by the blast suffer additional Nature damage per second for a duration of 10 seconds. Subsequently, the boss casts Stonecracker Barrage followed by Stonecrack. |
---|---|
Earthsurge | Iridikron safeguards himself by summoning a protective shield capable of absorbing a substantial amount of damage. While shielded, he releases a formidable surge of earthen power that deals Nature damage to all players within range. This ability also triggers Rending Earthspikes, which subsequently causes Punctured Ground. |
Pulverizing Exhalation | Unleashing a mighty wing strike, the boss generates a powerful gust infused with petrifying energy. This gust inflicts Nature damage upon impact, affecting both the struck targets and those positioned beneath the boss within a 28-yard radius. Additionally, the forceful wing strike triggers Pulverizing Creations. |
Pulverizing Creations | From the depths of the earth, Iridikron's creations emerge, lashing out at players within a 5-yard radius and dealing Nature damage upon contact. The force of this impact also pushes affected players away. Additionally, creations unleash Stonebolts, launching them towards their targets. |
Crushing Onslaught |
The boss overwhelms his target through a melee strike that increases Physical damage it takes by 25% for a duration of 3 seconds. This effect stacks. |
Battle Tactician | Through careful assessment of his opponents' strategy, Iridikron fortifies his confidence, steadily building it up over time. Once his confidence reaches its pinnacle at 100, he unleashes Cataclysmic Obliteration, an overwhelming attack that cannot be mitigated or avoided. |
Iridikron the Stonescaled Mechanics & Strategy
Unlike most other encounters in the Mega Dungeon, fighting Iridikron revolves around keeping an AI NPC alive. In this case, we are talking about Chromie in particular. Otherwise, you will not be able to make it through some of the deadliest Iridikron’s abilities. Additionally, this boss does not rely on spawning adds as the other ones do. So, when facing off against Iridikron, the only thing you need to interrupt by all means is Iridikron's Creation's Stonebolt.
As for other boss’s mechanics, you will have to get to Chromie’s covers like Timeline Protection and Timeline Transcendence quite often. For instance, you will find yourself in the following situations:
- Get under Chromie’s Timeline Protection to avoid taking full damage from Extinction Blast. However, this ability will make Chromie suffers from the Exhausted debuff, which makes her take much more damage than she would usually do. This is when your healer should be on guard;
- When getting hit by Stonecracker Barrage, make sure to split into two teams. By doing so, the four members of your party will soak the damage from the bigger circle while your tank will soak the damage from the smaller ones on their own. This is necessary to live through Stonecrack, which comes afterwards, much easier. After Stonecracker Barrage is over, Chromie will cast Timeline Acceleration to grant extra Haste to you and other allies;
- Make sure to break the Earthsurge’s shield ASAP while also avoiding taking damage from Rending Earthspikes. Otherwise, the boss’ can out-sustain you, as you will start taking much more damage after every Earthspike hit;
- The only way to live through Cataclysmic Obliteration is to get under Chromie’s Timeline Transcendence. If you do everything correctly, this will be your final step to achieving victory in this battle.
As we have already mentioned, Iridikron is not an adds-based boss. Instead, it makes your team play around his wiping abilities all the time. So, timing and reacting are very important during this fight.
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper Boss Overview
The rise of Murozond and the subsequent alteration of the true timeline have brought forth numerous anomalies for the heroes of Azeroth. Among these, the most striking is the unexpected alliance of Titan-Keeper Tyr with the Infinite Dragonflight. The legendary loyalty he once possessed now turned against them, and the heroes are left with no alternative but to engage in a formidable battle. Their objective is to emerge victorious and restore order.
This is one of the bosses we have the pictures of. Later, we are going to provide you with a detailed Tyr, the Infinite Keeper fighting strategy.
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper Abilities
Infinite Hand Technique | Once Tyr has depleted his titan essence, he wields his mighty mace, The Infinite Hand, and proceeds to unleash a relentless series of devastating assaults. |
---|---|
Titanic Blow | Drawing upon his immense power, the boss channels his strength and delivers a forceful strike with The Infinite Hand upon his target. This impactful blow inflicts Physical damage within a frontal cone, forcefully pushing back any affected foes. |
Infinite Annihilation | The boss forcefully pounds the ground, resulting in the infliction of Arcane damage within a frontal cone. Furthermore, this action leaves behind Consecrated Ground in the affected area. |
Dividing Strike |
Harnessing the boundless power of the infinite, the boss brings down a devastating blow upon the ground, causing a powerful shockwave that inflicts Arcane damage within a 10-yard radius. The damage dealt is evenly distributed among the players caught in the blast. However, if fewer than 2 players are struck, Tyr gains a stack of Titanic Empowerment, increasing the damage done until the end of the fight. |
Spark of Tyr |
A maximum of two players become imbued with memories yet to be written, causing them to suffer and deal Arcane damage every 2 seconds within a 4-yard range. After the effect expires or is removed, all players are struck with Arcane damage. |
Siphon Oathstone | By harnessing the essence emanating from the Infinite Oathstone, the boss absorbs its power, gaining Radiant Barrier. Additionally, Hastening Eruption is triggered. |
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper Mechanics & Strategy
Unlike the previous boss, Tyr’s mechanics are relatively easy to learn and play around. To begin with, you should be aware of his Titanic Blow, as it can easily knock you away off the platform. This is more likely to happen if you are fighting in a melee range and are too close to the boss when he is casting this spell.
On top of that, your DPS (and other party members) should try to collect as many Temporal Essence as possible during Siphon Oathstone. This will provide you with additional Movement Speed and Haste for a limited amount of time.
Just like most of the previous bosses, Tyr will constantly summon annoying adds, each featuring unique mechanics that must be learned and played around:
- Tyr's Vanguard's Rending Cleave applies Bleed to all targets in front of it. Make sure to dodge it, as the effect stacks and can deal a ton of damage in the long run;
- Infinite Twilight Magus's Epoch Bolt should be interrupted whenever it is possible. The same goes for its Corroding Volley;
- Valow, Timesworn Keeper's Temporal Strike should be dodged as well. One of your party members, preferably a tank, should move Valow, Timesworn Keeper away from his Titanic Bulwark;
- Lerai, Timesworn Maiden’s Ancient Radiance cannot be dodged, but the damage it inflicts is bearable. What is more important here is to avoid this mob’s Orb of Contemplation. Otherwise, you will be stunned for 3 seconds and suffer a lot of damage;
- Spurlok, Timesworn Sentinel's Binding Grasp must be interrupted ASAP to let your teammate participate in the fight further.
Other than Tyr’s annoying adds, this boss is relatively easy to deal with and does not have a ton of tricky mechanics.
Morchie Boss Overview
Morchie, the alternate incarnation of Chromie from a timeline dominated by Murozond and the infinite dragonflight, takes delight in existing within the true timeline. She is determined to preserve its integrity. Regrettably, the heroes of Azeroth persistently hinder her efforts, obstructing her carefully laid plans.
Have you always liked Chromie? What about her evil alter ego then? Later, we will share the Morchie fighting strategy to defeat the boss.
Morchie Abilities
Sand Blast | The boss unleashes a projectile of sand, striking all players positioned in front of her and inflicting Physical damage upon impact. |
---|---|
Body Double | Morchie conjures distorted incarnations of herself, originating from diverse timelines. |
Dragon's Breath | Metamorphosing into the form of a bronze dragon, Morchie employs a breath attack that delivers a potent assault of Arcane energy. This attack inflicts Arcane damage upon foes positioned in front of her. |
Time Traps | Places traps that ensnare both creatures and players in Time Stasis. The latter immobilizes an affected target for up to 30 seconds. |
Familiar Faces | The boss summons minions from her timeline to fight on her side. |
Fixate | Fixates their current timeline self. |
Morchie Mechanics & Strategy
Before you even get a chance to fight Morchie, you need to complete a few tricky quests. The first thing you must do is to avoid Infinite Projectiles, which will be fired at you by Infinite Protector. If you get hit at least by one of the projectiles, you will be teleported back to your original location and will have to start again. To get past this task, at least one of your party members should make it to the end. After that, they will find Temporal Rift on their left to teleport the entire party to a safe zone.
Do you think it is over? Not at all! Morchie has prepared another challenge for you. During it, you will face off against Temporal Fusion and Temporal Deviation. Their corpses will serve as platforms to pave your way to the teleport that will lead you to Morchie herself.
As for Morchie’s adds mechanics, they are as follows:
- Avoid Infinite Watchkeeper's Timeless Curse. When the mob casts Infinite Fury, make sure to use your defensives since it cannot be dodged;
- Interrupt Timeline Marauder's Displace Chronosequence and Infinite Schism by all means. Otherwise, the latter cast can wipe you;
- Infinite Timebender will spawn more adds named Time-Lost Wakethrasher and Time-Lost Tidehunter while also buffing them with Millennium Aid. Interrupting this mob’s Dizzying Sands is vital, as you will be disoriented in the contrary case.
Speaking of Morchie’s mechanics, she will often cast frontal-hitting spells like Sand Blast and Dragon’s Breath. On top of that, you need to learn to definite whether the actual Morchie is after she casts her More Problems!
Getting hit by her Time Traps will cause you to suffer from Time Stasis and Temporal Backlash. So, avoid stepping into this trap and lead the mobs spawned with the Familiar Faces cast to it instead. If any of your party members or you get stuck in Time Stasis, this effect can be dispelled and this should be done ASAP or you will be immobilized for as many as 30 seconds.
Time-Lost Battlefield Boss Overview
One of the many battles between the Alliance and Horde has bled into the Timeways, and it is up to the heroes of Azeroth to put an end to this time anomaly in order to continue their journey. But first, they will have to face Grommash Hellscream/Anduin Lothar, one of the Horde's/Alliance’s greatest commanders.
Depending on your character’s race, this encounter will look different. We will update our guide to share the detailed Time-Lost Battlefield fighting strategy.
Time-Lost Battlefield Abilities
Deploy Goblin Sappers | In a span of 2 seconds, the siege vehicle dispatches a fleet of Goblin Sappers, specially trained mobs who relentlessly pursue players while carrying explosive payloads, ready to unleash Kaboom! upon their targets. |
---|---|
Sapper's Perogative | The Goblin Sapper fixates its attention solely on a certain player, disregarding all other potential threats or distractions in its path. |
Volatile Mortar | A powerful artillery shell detonates above a group of players, resulting in the infliction of Fire damage within a 5-yard radius. Additionally, the explosion applies Shrapnel to the affected targets, while Embers are simultaneously generated at the impacted locations. After that, the vehicle releases Shrapnel Shell. |
Bladestorm (Grommash Hellscream) | With a swift leap, the boss closes in on a targeted player and begins a relentless onslaught, delivering consecutive swings at nearby adversaries for a duration of 6 seconds. This flurry of attacks inflicts Physical damage every 0.5 seconds to any individual situated nearby. |
Decapitate | With a swift motion, the boss executes two consecutive swings, each strike unleashing Physical damage upon impact. Furthermore, these strikes apply the Mortal Wounds debuff to the affected targets. The latter reduces the amount of healing received. |
Thirst for Battle | Slaying a foe refreshes the cooldown of Decapitate. |
Death Wish | Grommash deals Physical damage to all players in front of him by crashing Gorehowl into the ground. |
War Cry | The boss deals a ton of Nature damage with a horrifying scream. |
Rage | Grommash starts building Rage increasing his damage output by 5%. This effect stacks for every 10% of missing HP. |
Time-Lost Battlefield Mechanics & Strategy
This boss’ main unique trait from others is that it will look differently depending on what race you are playing:
- If you are fighting on the side of Alliance, you will face off against Grommash Hellscream, who will also summon Horde Grunt, Horde Axe Thrower, and Horde Warlock;
- If you are fighting on the side of Horde, you will face off against Anduin Lothar, who will also summon Alliance Footman, Alliance Archer, and Alliance Conjuror.
On top of that, you will have to deal with other adds and play around their set of abilities, namely:
- Time-Lost Rocketeer’s Staticky Punch is relatively easy to deal with if you manage to interrupt Rocket Bolt Volley;
- Also, make sure to dodge Time-Lost Aerobot's Electro-Juiced Gigablast, which strikes all targets in front of the mob;
- Pendule's Time Beam is easy to interrupt as well;
- Dodge Horde Destroyer's Volatile Mortar and interrupt the mob’s Deploy Goblin Sappers with any CC you have in your arsenal. Otherwise, you might get wiped due to a random Kaboom!;
We can also give you a general tip (no matter what boss you will be fighting), do not focus on the adds they summon specifically. They can be easily cleaved when you are dealing damage to the boss himself. The same goes for FOR THE HORDE! / FOR THE ALLIANCE! when they will summon their fallen allies. Also, make sure to avoid Bladestorm and Shockwave.
Chrono-Lord Deios and the Infinite Dragonflight Boss Overview
Finally, the moment has arrived when the Infinite Dragonflight can initiate a transformative era for Azeroth. Chrono-Lord Deios, having journeyed extensively into the past, is determined to ensure the rise of Murozond. The heroes of Azeroth bear witness to his previous triumph, but now they face the critical question: can they thwart his plans this time?
This is the final boss you are to defeat when participating in this megadungeon. We will also provide you with a detailed strategy on how to do this effortlessly and quickly. Stay tuned and do not forget to check out our article from time to time to find the best Chrono-Lord Deios and the Infinite Dragonflight fighting strategy.
Chrono-Lord Deios and the Infinite Dragonflight Abilities
Infinity Orb | Manifesting orbs of compressed time, the boss places them strategically over specific locations, causing them to detonate in Infinity Nova upon reaching their designated destination. |
---|---|
Chronal Breath | Deios unleashes a frontal assault on enemies, inflicting Arcane damage. This attack not only deals damage but also imposes a 20% reduction in Haste and movement speed on the affected targets. The slowing effect can stack, further impeding their swiftness. Additionally, Infinite Portal Guardians struck are afflicted with Chronal Decay. |
Temporal Veil | Enveloped in a shroud of ominous dark magic, Deios taps into the boundless power emanating from infinite timelines. This infusion of energy enables him to unleash periodic bursts of Arcane damage upon all players at regular 6-second intervals. The potency of this damage amplifies with each subsequent stack of the effect. |
Wing Lash | The boss wafts his wings dealing Physical damage to all players. |
Timeless Breath | Deios releases a surge of temporal magic in a forward direction, causing Arcane damage effect. However, the true impact lies in his ability to disrupt the flow of time itself. This temporal disturbance diminishes the flow of time, resulting in decreased movement speed, casting speed, attack speed, cooldown recharge rate, and periodic tick rates for a duration of 30 seconds. |
Apart from Chrono-Lord Deios, you will face off against other rivals as well:
- Infinite Portal Guardian
- Timeline Link: Remaining intricately connected to its timeline, the Portal Guardian experiences a rejuvenating effect that restores its Health every 3 seconds, resetting it to the value it held precisely 3 seconds prior. However, it is worth noting that the frequency of this healing effect is subject to reduction by the influence of Deios' Chronal Breath ability;
- Chronal Burn: Unleashing a corruptive force upon its adversaries' timelines, the mob inflicts a relentless assault of Arcane damage per second for a duration of 15 seconds;
- Infinite Bolt: Launches time magic toward a target, dealing Arcane damage.
- Time-Displaced Trooper
- Time-Displacement: Ripped from another timeline, reducing Health to 20%.
- Proto-Aspect Allies
- Alexstrasza's Presence: Reduces the maximum Health of a target by 20% until canceled;
- Malygos' Presence: Increases allies’ damage output by 2%;
- Neltharion's Presence: Reduces damage taken by allies by 20%;
- Nozdormu's Presence: Increases allies’ Haste by 50%;
- Ysera's Presence: Increases healing and absorbs done by 20%.
- Infinite Ritualist
- Focusing Ritual: The Infinite Ritualist concentrates their full attention on a designated target, harnessing their power to absorb a significant portion of their own total health as damage. In this state, they remain impervious to any other sources of threat or distraction, solely fixated on their target. However, if this concentration is disrupted or broken, their focus swiftly reverts back to its original state;
- Chronal Burn: Unleashing a corruptive force upon its adversaries' timelines, the mob inflicts a relentless assault of Arcane damage per second for a duration of 15 seconds;
- Infinite Bolt: Launches time magic toward a target, dealing Arcane damage.
Chrono-Lord Deios Mechanics & Strategy
The final mega dungeon’s boss fight consists of 2 Phases. At the same time, it does not have too many adds to play around. Apart from Infinite Slayer's Bronze Exhalation and Timeless Curse, you have nothing to worry about. However, the boss fight itself will be incredibly tough.
Starting with Phase 1, you will face off against Infinite Keepers, who should be your main target. Focusing on them will make Chrono-Lord Deios suffer damage as well. Once the boss is down to 20% HP, Phase 2 will begin.
Speaking of the boss’ unique mechanics you should be aware of, they are as follows:
- When you see the boss casting Infinity Orb, you need to make sure one of your party members (preferably a tank) soaks its damage. Also, be mindful of Infinity Nova, the follow-up effect, which can also deal a ton of damage;
- When fighting every Infinite Keeper, they will cast the same abilities, such as Infinite Blast and Chronal Burn. When they die, they trigger Collapsing Time Rift, which damages the boss himself;
- During Phase 2, Chrono-Lord Deios will cast Infinite Corruption. Make sure to avoid the puddles from this cast. The ability will also leave Temporal Scar, which you do not want to stand in.
Your primary goal during Phase 2 is to bring Chrono-Lord Deios’s HP down to 10%. After that, Nozdormu will be freed and will grant you extra powers.
Dawn of the Infinite Rewards
The main reason you want to take part in this megadungeon is the unique rewards you can get. We bet you will be especially interested in the special 421 lvl trinkets. They can be crafted from Paracasual Particles you obtain for participating in the megadungeon. You can exchange this currency for the following trinkets from the list below:
- Paracausal Fragment of Azzinoth;
- Paracausal Fragment of Doomhammer;

Each of these trinkets cost x250 Paracasual Particles and can be purchased from a vendor NPC. To learn the exact location of the latter, visit Tyrhold Reservoir in Thaldraszus. Dawn of the Infinite Hard Mode Rewards
If you have managed to collect all the rewards you were looking for and are now ready for a new challenge, the devs have prepared the Hard Mode of the same megadungeon for you. To claim the most sought-after reward, Infinite Acolyte's Regalia Set, you must complete the Put That Thing Back Where It Came From achievement. The latter requires you to defeat all bosses within a single run without any player dying on Mythic difficulty. This is an incredibly challenging task, as it means all your party members should stay alive. Make sure you have a group of reliable players who know all the bosses' mechanics before you give this mode a shot.
Dawn of the Infinite Map
The map sprawls expansively, encompassing diverse regions that align with the intriguing timelines players can venture into. Taking its place at the heart of this expanse is the grand bastion nestled within Thaldraszus' Temporal Conflux, serving as the probable starting point for our expedition. Scattered throughout the map, we encounter remarkable sights such as the colossal head of Galakrond, an anticipated location where Iridikon might be discovered. Additionally, an Alliance Keep and Orcish Tower stand tall, emblematic of the Time-Lost Battlefield encounter.
