The Chaperone is an exotic shotgun that can be equipped in the kinetic slot wand is only obtainable by completing a special quest. The main perk of this weapon is the "Precision Slug" which allows the chaperone to fire a single-slug precision round. The secondary perk, "The Roadborn" grants bonus handling, range, and precision damage of the Chaperonen when performing precision kills. This shotgun is good for single target PvE damage or for killing other guardians in PvP due to its superior range when compared to other shotguns in Destiny 2.
