The lament is an exotic sword equipable in the heavy slot, which you can obtain only for completing a special quest on Europa. The main perk of the Lament is the "Banshee's Wail," which increases the weapon's damage when stacking hits with it. It also adds shield piercing to all your attacks. In addition, the secondary perk, "Revved Consumption," heals you when you deal damage to another combatant. This is one of the most powerful swords in Destiny 2 and is an excellent choice for many PvE content and Gambit matches.
