How to Get Corruption Enchants

You must play through the revamped Horrific Visions activity, which returns as part of The War Within Season 2. These solo or group instances are the gateway to unlocking both Lesser and Greater versions of the helmet enchants.

The process begins in Dornogal, where players will find a portal marked by a distinct void-themed icon. After completing a short introductory quest chain — including entering a vision — you’ll unlock the ability to start earning Displaced Corrupted Mementos, the main currency used to purchase enchants.

There are two key milestones in the questline:

• Borrowing Corruption — Unlocks the Lesser enchant variants.
• Enhancing Corruption — Grants access to the Greater variants.

Once unlocked, the Corruption Enchant vendor location in Patch 11.1.5 is Dornogal, where you can find Augermu, the NPC who sells both Lesser and Greater Corruption Enchants in exchange for Displaced Corrupted Mementos. Here's the cost breakdown: 

• Lesser Enchants: 500 Displaced Corrupted Mementos

A full 5-mask Horrific Vision run can reward over 2000 Mementos, making it one of the most efficient methods for a Displaced Corrupted Mementos farm.

To apply an enchant, you’ll also need:

1. Profaned Tinderbox
2. 20x Black Blood Residue

These items drop from Horrific Visions and associated content. The enchant is applied via a short cast time and can only be used on helmets (and in some cases, weapons) that are item level 350 or higher. Effects are only active during The War Within Season 2.

While some effects may look powerful, most provide modest boosts (2–4% at best in PvE, based on early simulations). Void Ritual currently stands out as the strongest option, especially in group content, but tuning changes may affect performance closer to launch.
