What is the Tarisland Dark Invasion?

If you’re still not sure what is Dark Invasion Tarisland, let’s start with the basics. This is an activity that takes you into an alternative universe where you get to complete a series of tasks while filling up the progress bar. 

Every three days, Dark Invasion spawns in one of 5 locations across the world map. Here are all known Tarisland Dark Invasion locations where you might find an active invasion:

1. SilverLit
2. SilverLit Suburbs
3. Ancash Canyon
4. Misty Forest

No matter what location the current Dark Invasion is active, the global objective is always the same – complete available tasks to fill up the invasion’s progress bar. BLOG20

The tasks may include NPC-given Tarisland Dark Invasion quests and live events marked on the map by a red marker. Those events are essentially very simple quests that may include objectives like:

• Go to a specific place marked on the map and kill a specific mob.
• Gather the required amount of resources.
• Rescue an NPC.
• Escort and protect an NPC.
• Close portals by defeating nearby enemies.

All of the tasks and quests themselves aren’t particularly difficult and shouldn’t take too much time to complete individually.

Your goal is to complete five quests out of 8 in total to finish the invasion, which should take you around 20 minutes tops.

The official description of the activity explains the objectives in an extremely simple way: “Completing invasion events and quests and closing rifts increase the event progress. You can earn rewards when you achieve 100%.

Tarisland Dark Invasion Walkthrough

Completing all of these quests will give you around 70% of global invasion progress. The rest of the progress can be done by going to one of the red markers on the invasion map. Those markers represent additional live event quests with unique objectives, such as the ones we mentioned earlier.

Once you reach 100% progress, you can simply click on the Dark Invasion from the list of active quests to open a dialogue window where you can claim the rewards and leave the instance.

Tarisland Dark Invasion Rewards List

Tarisland Dark Invasion rewards might not feel too substantial; however, as you complete various tasks during the invasion, you’re also getting more rewards. Furthermore, each quest has its own reward pool. Therefore, when you combine all of the potential rewards together, you get a pretty hefty bag of goodies. Besides, you’ll be making progress towards your seasonal pass and daily challenges, both of which have their own reward tracks. 1. Silver Coins – a currency that circulates among all races. It’s essential for adventure, and the more you have, the better. It can be used to purchase items from the Reputation Assoc. as well as to cover other basic costs.
2. Prestige Scroll – can be used on the Reputation Contribution screen to increase reputation.
3. Dull Dust of Inscribed Stone – produces 100 Inscribed Stone Energy that charges your class’ Inscribed Stone Skills.
4. Reputation points – increase reputation with the faction in the location where the Dark Invasion occurs.

Let’s also not forget about the character level EXP and additional Tarisland Dark Invasion event loot that drops from defeated monsters. Since you’ll be doing a bunch of quests and killing lots of bots, you’ll be getting large chunks of experience, which will let you level up even faster!
